The spray assembly of claim 1 wherein said spray bar includes a pump body, a tube and a cylinder, said pump body and said tube being located on opposite sides of said cylinder and being in communication with said cylinder, respectively, said pump body being for filling or drawing fluid from said cylinder, said tube being movably disposed within said cylinder, said spray head being disposed at an end of said tube remote from said pump body,
    when the pump fills the cylinder with fluid, the portion of the tube extends out of the cylinder away from the pump, and retracts back toward the cylinder when the pump draws fluid from the cylinder.
  7. 7. The spray assembly of claim 1 wherein at least portions of said spray head are disposed within said spray bar.
  8. 8. The spray assembly of claim 7 wherein said spray head is a hydraulic spray head, said hydraulic spray head is located within said spray bar, said spray bar having a perimeter wall with spray orifices facing nozzles of said hydraulic spray head.
  9. 9. The spray assembly of claim 7 wherein said spray head is a centrifugal spray head comprising a spray head body and a centrifugal spray disk, said spray head body being located within said spray bar and connected to said liquid delivery tube, said centrifugal spray disk being located outside of said spray bar and connected to said spray head body.
  10. 10. The spray assembly of claim 7 wherein said spray head is formed as a centrifugal spray head located within said spray bar, said spray bar having a peripheral wall with liquid outlets disposed directly opposite the centrifugal spray discs of said centrifugal spray head, said spray assembly further comprising a protective shroud disposed about the free end of said spray bar and being -piece with said spray bar.
  11. 11. The spray assembly of claim 1 further comprising an electrical control device connected to said spray bar to control the length of said spray bar.
  12. 12. The spray assembly of claim 1 wherein the other end of the liquid delivery tube extends from the fixed end of the spray bar.

    a body;
    a spray assembly according to any of claims 1-12 and wherein said spray assembly is according to any of claims and wherein said spray assembly is attached to said fuselage.
