In this embodiment, the display panel 100 includes a front frame 10, a back plate 20, a display module 30 and a fastening structure 40; however, in order to achieve the function of displaying images, the display panel 100 may further include various components such as a backlight module, a signal line, an optical sheet, and the like, which is not limited by the present invention. For convenience of understanding, the following description is only directed to the configuration among the front frame 10, the back plate 20, the display module 30, and the snap structure 40 of the display panel 100.
Referring to fig. 1 to 5, the front frame 10 may be a rectangular frame for protecting the side and edges of the display panel 100, and besides, the front frame 10 may also be an outermost frame of the display panel 100 (or the electronic device) for providing a decoration board, and may be processed by surface treatment (e.g., electroplating, anodic treatment) to generate different visual appearances. The front frame 10 includes a frame 11, an exposed surface 12, a hook 13, and a fixing block 15. The frame 11 has an upper edge 111 and a lower edge 112, the exposed surface 12 extends inward from the upper edge 111, and the hook 13 includes an extending portion 131 and a bending portion 132. The extending portion 131 extends inward from the lower edge 112, the bending portion 132 extends from the extending portion 131 toward the exposed surface 12, and the extending portion 131 and the bending portion 132 form an accommodating groove 133. The fixing block 15 extends downward from the exposed surface 12 to define an assembly slot 16 together with the frame 11, and the assembly slot 16 is used for accommodating the back plate 20.
In one or more embodiments, the entire upper edge 111 of the front frame 10 extends inward to form the exposed surface 12, in other words, in the present embodiment, the entire edge of the display module 30 is covered and protected by the exposed surface 12, but not limited thereto; in other embodiments, the exposed surface 12 may be spaced apart from the upper edge 111 of the front frame 10, in other words, in the present embodiment, only a part of the edge of the display module 30 is covered and protected by the exposed surface 12. Therefore, if the display panel 100 further includes an outer frame for structural protection, the exposed surface 12 of the front frame 10 can be designed to save material.
In one or more embodiments, the front frame 10 further includes a guiding groove 14, and the guiding groove 14 is adjacent to the bending portion 132 and is communicated with the receiving groove 133. Therefore, when the fastening structure 40 is to be mounted in the receiving groove 133 of the front frame 10, the operator can dispose the fastening structure 40 from the guiding groove 14 into the receiving groove 133. Further, in one or more embodiments, the bending portion 132 further includes a guiding surface 134, and the guiding surface 134 corresponds to the guiding groove 14 and is far away from the receiving groove 133. In other words, when the front frame 10 is manufactured, at least a portion of the bending portion 132 may be milled by a cutting process to form a chamfered structure as the guiding surface 134. Thereby, the guide surface 134 may guide the snap structure 40 to be loaded/unloaded into/from the receiving groove 133 to save operation time. It should be noted that fig. 1 to 5 illustrate that the front frame 10 has a hook 13, but not limited thereto; in one or more embodiments, a plurality of hooks 13 and a plurality of guiding grooves 14 may be disposed at intervals at the edge and the corner of the front frame 10, and each guiding groove 14 is located between two adjacent hooks 13.
Referring to fig. 1 to 5, the back plate 20 is located inside the frame 11 and is used for supporting the display module 30. The back plate 20 includes a plate body 21, an upright portion 22, and a support portion 23. The plate 21 corresponds to the exposed surface 12, that is, the plate 21 is located under the exposed surface 12 and the edge of the display module 30 is located between the plate 21 and the exposed surface 12, and the plate 21 can support the edge of the display module 30. The upright portion 22 extends from one side of the plate body 21 toward the exposed surface 12, and the upright portion 22 has a side surface 221 facing the frame body 11. The supporting portion 23 extends from a side of the plate 21 opposite to the upright portion 22, and may form a receiving space with the display module 30 to place and support other components of the display panel 100.
Referring to fig. 1 to 5, the edge of the display module 30 is located between the front frame 10 and the back plate 20, and is fixed to each other by the front frame 10, the back plate 20 and the fastening structure 40. Specifically, the edge of the display module 30 is located between the exposed surface 12, the upright portion 22, and the plate body 21. In the present embodiment, the exposed surface 12, the upright portion 22 and the plate body 21 form a semi-enclosed space for accommodating the edge of the display module 30.
Fig. 6 is a schematic perspective view of an exemplary embodiment of a buckle structure of the present invention, fig. 7 is another schematic perspective view of an exemplary embodiment of a buckle structure of the present invention, and fig. 8 is a side view of an exemplary embodiment of a buckle structure of the present invention. Referring to fig. 1 to 8, the fastening structure 40 is disposed between the front frame 10 and the back plate 20 and positioned in the accommodating groove 133, so as to achieve the mutual positioning between the front frame 10, the back plate 20 and the display module 30. The snap structure 40 may provide suitable mechanical strength to the metal member. In the present embodiment, the fastening structure 40 includes a horizontal section 41, a resisting plate section 42 and a resisting frame section 43. The horizontal section 41 is located between the plate body 21 and the bending section 132, the plate-supporting section 42 extends from one side of the horizontal section 41 to the exposed surface 12 (in the embodiment shown in fig. 8, extends from the bottom to the top), and the plate-supporting section 42 is located between the frame 11 and the upright section 22 and abuts against the side surface 221 of the upright section 22. The support frame section 43 extends from one side of the support plate section 42 toward the receiving groove 133 (in the embodiment shown in fig. 8, extends from the top to the bottom) and partially overlaps with the support plate section 42. That is, the upper portions of the support plate section 42 and the support frame section 43 form a reverse-folded region to enhance the structural strength thereof, and a gap may be completely attached or slightly remained between the upper portions of the support plate section 42 and the support frame section 43. The frame abutting section 43 corresponds to the frame 11, and at least a portion of the frame abutting section 43 is accommodated in the accommodating groove 133.
Referring to fig. 4 and 5 again, the assembly of the display panel 100 is briefly described. First, the front frame 10 is placed on an operation platform (e.g., a mounting table of a production line) with the exposed surface 12 facing downward, and then the display module 30 and other components are stacked on the front frame 10 such that the edge of the display module 30 is positioned on the exposed surface 12. Then, the upright portions 22 of the back plate 20 are fitted into the assembly grooves 16 of the front frame 10, and a semi-finished product as shown in fig. 4 is formed. Finally, the fastening structure 40 is installed between the back plate 20 and the front frame 10 from the guiding slot 14, such that the horizontal section 41 of the fastening structure 40 is located between the plate body 21 and the bending portion 132, the reverse bending area formed by the upper portions of the supporting plate section 42 and the supporting frame section 43 is located between the frame body 11 and the vertical portion 22, and the lower portion of the supporting frame section 43 is located between the bending portion 132 and the frame body 11 and is accommodated in the accommodating slot 133. Therefore, the horizontal section 41 of the buckle structure 40 can be used as an extension structure of the bending portion 132 of the front frame 10 to abut against the plate body 21 of the back plate 20 to achieve positioning in the horizontal direction, the abutting plate section 42 of the buckle structure 40 abuts against the side surface 221 of the upright portion 22, and the frame abutting section 43 of the buckle structure 40 corresponds to the inner side surface of the bending portion 132, so that the front frame 10 can be prevented from being turned outwards to be separated from the back plate 20 when being subjected to an external force. In addition to the above-described assembly of the display panel 100 with the exposed surface 12 facing downward, the display panel 100 may be assembled with the exposed surface 12 facing upward.
In one or more embodiments, the fastening structure 40 further includes an extending section 44, the extending section 44 extends from a side of the horizontal section 41 opposite to the support plate section 42 and corresponds to the supporting portion 23, and an extending direction of the supporting portion 23 is not perpendicular to an extending direction of the extending section 44. Further, in one or more embodiments, the extending direction of the extending section 44 may be parallel to the extending direction of the supporting portion 23, so that the snap structure 40 may also fix the back plate 20 by the abutment between the extending section 44 and the supporting portion 23.
In one or more embodiments, the latch structure 40 further includes at least one handle 45. In the present embodiment, the fastening structure 40 includes two handles 45 disposed at two ends of the horizontal section 41, but not limited thereto. The handle 45 extends from one end of the horizontal section 41 adjacent to the frame abutting section 43, and the extending direction of the handle 45 is not perpendicular to the extending direction of the frame abutting section 43. In the present embodiment, the handle 45 extends downward to be parallel to the frame abutting section 43, but not limited thereto. In addition, the distance D between the handle 45 and the frame abutting section 43 is greater than the thickness T of the bending portion 132; in other words, a gap is formed between the handle 45 and the frame supporting section 43 for the bending portion 132 to penetrate. Therefore, the operator can conveniently assemble the snap structure 40 from the guide groove 14 into the receiving groove 133 by holding the handle 45.
In one or more embodiments, the fastening structure 40 further includes a barb section 46, and the barb section 46 extends from a side of the frame supporting section 43 opposite to the supporting plate section 42 toward the exposed surface 12 and is received in the receiving groove 133. Further, the barb section 46 abuts against the groove wall of the accommodating groove 133 adjacent to the bending portion 132 (i.e. the inner side surface of the bending portion 132) to further enhance the fixing between the fastening structure 40 and the front frame 10.
In one or more embodiments, the receiving groove 133 may have a fixed width or the receiving groove 133 may be narrowed along the direction of mounting the snap structure 40 to have a plurality of width values; that is, the thickness T of the bent portion 132 may gradually change in a direction along which the snap structure 40 is mounted. In the embodiment where the accommodating groove 133 has a non-fixed width, specifically, the accommodating groove 133 may be divided into a plurality of portions, and each portion has a different width; alternatively, the receiving groove 133 may have a gradually varying width along the length direction thereof (i.e., the direction in which the snap structure 40 is mounted). Therefore, when the user installs the fastening structure 40 into the receiving groove 133, the receiving groove 133 and the abutting frame portion 43 of the fastening structure 40 are tightly fitted to each other along the direction of installing the fastening structure 40, so as to achieve the fixing of the fastening structure 40 and the front frame 10 in the length direction of the receiving groove 133.
In one or more embodiments, the snap structure 40 further comprises at least one first mating member, the back plate 20 further comprises at least one second mating member, and the first mating member of the snap structure 40 is detachably fixed to the second mating member. Specifically, the first matching member may be located on the upper surface of the horizontal section 41, and the second matching member may be located on the lower surface of the plate body 21. In the following embodiments, the positioning bumps and the positioning structures are used as examples of the matching members, but it should be understood that the invention is not limited thereto, and the matching members may be other types such as bump matching recesses, elastic pin matching recesses, and the like.
Fig. 9 is a partial perspective view of a display panel according to a second embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 9, in the present embodiment, the first matching member is a positioning structure 47 and is located on the upper surface of the horizontal section 41. In this embodiment, the upper surface of the horizontal section 41 has positioning structures 47, and each positioning structure 47 includes an elastic member 471 and a recess 472. The elastic member 471 extends from the horizontal portion 41 toward the handle 45, and a concave hole 472 is formed on the elastic member 471. Specifically, the above-described positioning structure 47 may be formed using a stamping technique; on the other hand, the second matching member is located on the lower surface of the board body 21 for positioning the protruding points 24, and the positioning structures 47 and the positioning protruding points 24 are detachably fixed to each other. When the frame abutting section 43 of the snap structure 40 is loaded into the receiving groove 133 from the guiding groove 14, the horizontal section 41 of the snap structure 40 abuts against the lower surface of the plate body 21 of the back plate 20. Therefore, as the abutting frame section 43 of the snap structure 40 gradually slides into the accommodating groove 133 along the length direction of the accommodating groove 133, the elastic member 471 is firstly abutted by the positioning protrusion 24 and bounces upward, and then the positioning protrusion 24 is fixed in the recess 472 to achieve the positioning between the horizontal section 41 and the plate 21. Thereby further achieving the fixation between the snap structure 40 and the back plate 20.
In one or more embodiments, further, the first matching member is located on the upper surface of the horizontal section 41 for positioning the protruding point; on the other hand, the second matching member is a positioning structure and is located on the lower surface of the board body 21, each positioning structure includes an elastic member and a concave hole, and the positioning structure and the positioning salient point are separably fixed to each other. Thereby, the fastening between the snap structure 40 and the back plate 20 can be further achieved.
Fig. 10 is a partial cross-sectional view of a display panel according to a third embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 10, in the present embodiment, the extending section 44 of the fastening structure 40 is parallel to the supporting portion 23 of the back plate 20; and, the first matching member is located on the upper surface of the extension 44, and the second matching member is correspondingly located on the lower surface of the supporting portion 23. In this embodiment, the first mating member is the convex portion 441, and the second mating member is the concave portion 231; alternatively, the first mating member may be a female portion and the second mating member may be a male portion that may be secured to each other after assembly. Therefore, when the fastening structure 40 is mounted at the corresponding position between the back plate 20 and the front frame 10, the fastening structure 40 can be fixed to the front frame 10 through the frame abutting section 43, and can also be fixed to each other through the first matching piece of the extending section 44 and the second matching piece of the supporting portion 23.
