Referring to fig. 1, 2 and 3, in one embodiment, the mobile terminal 10 is a smartphone. The mobile terminal 10 includes a display screen module 100, a housing 200, a camera module 300, and a battery cover 400. The Display screen module 100 may be configured to Display information and provide an interactive interface for a user, and the Display screen module 100 may be an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) screen or an OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) screen. The housing 200 is substantially rectangular, and the housing 200 may be sometimes referred to as a middle frame, and includes a metal base and a plurality of additional structures, such as a boss, a through hole, a counter bore, and a sink, which are injection-molded on the metal base, and these additional structures may be used to position the internal electronic components of the mobile terminal 10, so as to facilitate assembling the electronic components, such as the display screen module 100, the main board, and the battery, of the mobile terminal 10 to the housing 200 and form a reliable connection with the housing 200. The material of the metal substrate can be aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy, stainless steel or the like.
Referring to fig. 4 and 5, the display screen module 100 is connected to one side of the housing 200, and the camera module 300 is located at a back side of the displayable region of the display screen module 100, that is, the camera module 300 can perform a function of a rear camera, for example, a user can perform operations such as close-range shooting, long-range shooting, video recording and the like through the camera module 300. The battery cover 400 is connected to a side of the housing 200 away from the display module 100 and covers the camera module 300, and the battery cover 400 may be made of glass or sapphire. The battery cover 400 has a substantially rounded rectangular shape, and includes a front surface 410 and a rear surface 420 that are opposite to each other, and the front surface 410 faces the camera module 300. The rear surface 420 has opposing top and bottom edges 421, 423 and opposing first and second side edges 425, 427, the top and bottom edges 421, 423 being located between the first and second side edges 425, 427. Referring to fig. 6, the rear surface 420 includes a first transition region 402, a second transition region 404 and a planar region 401 covering the camera module 300, the planar region 401 includes a body region 401a and an extension region 401b coplanar with the body region 401a, the extension region 401b is located between the first transition region 402 and the second transition region 404, the extension region 401b extends to the top edge 421, ambient light can pass through the body region 401a or the extension region 401b and be incident on the camera module 300, and the body region 401a connects the first transition region 402, the extension region 401b and the second transition region 404 on a side away from the top edge 421. Specifically, the portion of the planar area 401 corresponding to the camera module 300 has a relatively high transmittance, for example, the transmittance may be over 85%, and the ambient light can pass through the planar area 401 and be incident on the camera module 300. The front surface 410 of the battery cover 400, which is not used for the camera module 300 to enter light, may be transparent, or may be provided with some decorative layers such as an ink layer or an optical coating layer to beautify the appearance of the battery cover 400.
Further, referring to fig. 6, the field angle of the camera module 300 passes through the extension area 401b in whole or in part. Specifically, the angle of view of the camera module 300 intersects the rear surface 420 to form a boundary line a, the boundary line a is circular, and the area enclosed by the boundary line a falls into the extension area 401b wholly or partially. This arrangement allows the optical axis of the camera module 300 to be as close to the top edge 421 as possible, so as to reduce the distance between the optical axis of the camera module 300 and the top edge 421, thereby making the arrangement of the internal components of the mobile terminal 10 more flexible and compact. It is understood that the angle of view of the camera module 300 is real and can be measured to determine that the intersection line of the angle of view and the rear surface 420 is a virtual line, but the boundary line a formed by the intersection of the angle of view and the rear surface 420 can be defined by printing ink on the front surface 410 of the battery cover 400 or attaching a film layer. It is understood that the definition that the angle of view of the camera module 300 passes through the extension region 401b in whole or in part is not essential, for example, the angle of view of the camera module 300 may pass through the body region 401a in whole, that is, the region circled by the boundary line a falls into the body region 401a in whole.
Referring to fig. 1 and 6, in an embodiment, the minimum distance d1 between the boundary line a and the top edge 421 corresponding to the extension area 401b is 1.5mm to 3.5 mm. Further, the minimum distance d1 between the boundary line a and the top edge 421 corresponding to the extension zone 401b is 2mm to 2.5 mm. Specifically, in the embodiment shown in fig. 6, the boundary line a formed by the intersection of the field angle and the rear surface 420 is a circle, and the top edge 421 corresponding to the extension area 401b is a line segment, so that the minimum distance between the boundary line a and the top edge 421 can be defined as follows: the line on which the top edge 421 is located is moved so that the line is tangent to the circle, and the minimum moving distance that can satisfy the tangent condition is the minimum distance between the boundary line a and the top edge 421. In other embodiments, the top edge 421 of the extension 401b is an arc, and the minimum distance between the boundary line a and the top edge 421 can be defined as follows: a tangent line is drawn at any point on the top edge 421 corresponding to the over-extension area 401b, and the tangent line is moved to be tangent to the circle, so that the minimum moving distance of the tangent line is the minimum distance between the boundary line a and the top edge 421. Since the peripheral edge of the battery cover 400 needs to be mounted on the housing 200 by dispensing, when the minimum distance between the boundary line a and the top edge 421 is within the above range, the optical axis of the camera module 300 can be made to be as close to the top edge 421 of the battery cover 400 as possible, and an appropriate distance can be kept between the camera module 300 and the top edge 421, so as to prevent the edge of the battery cover 400 from interfering with the field angle.
Further, referring to fig. 1, a geometric plane of the planar area 401 may be used as a reference plane, and the battery cover 400 forms a top edge 421, a bottom edge 423, a first side edge 425 and a second side edge 427 at an edge of an orthographic projection of the reference plane. In one embodiment, the top edge 421 is a line segment in the orthographic projection of the reference plane, the first side edge 425 includes both a line segment portion and an arc segment portion, and the second side edge 427 is similar in structure to the first side edge 425. Bottom edge 423 connects first side edge 425 and second side edge 427, and bottom edge 423 may be a line segment or an arc. In one embodiment, camera module 300 is disposed closer to top edge 421 than bottom edge 423. In embodiments where the top edge 421 is orthographically projected as a line segment, the top edge 421 between the two ends of the extension zone 401b is a line segment, with the first transition region 402 at one end of the line segment and the second transition region 404 at the other end of the line segment. In other embodiments, top edge 421 may also be an arc, in which case top edge 421 between the two ends of extension zone 401b is an arc, first transition region 402 is located at one end of the arc, and second transition region 404 is located at the other end of the arc. In some embodiments, the top edge 421 between the two ends of the extension region 401b is a line segment, and the top edges 421 at the two ends of the line segment may be arcs respectively. In some embodiments, the top edge 421 between the two ends of the extension zone 401b is an arc, and the top edges 421 at the two ends of the arc may be line segments, respectively. Further, the first transition area 402 and the second transition area 404 may be symmetrically disposed about a midpoint of the top edge 421 to improve the appearance characteristics of the battery cover 400, and thus the appearance characteristics of the mobile terminal 10.
Further, referring to fig. 1, the back surface 420 includes a first curved surface 403 and a second curved surface 405, the first curved surface 403 connects the first transition region 402, the second curved surface 405 connects the second transition region 404, the body region 401a is located between the first curved surface 403 and the second curved surface 405, an edge of the first curved surface 403 facing away from the body region 401a forms a first side edge 425, and a side of the second curved surface 405 facing away from the body region 401a forms a second side edge 427. Further, the rear surface 420 includes a third curved surface 407 connected between the first curved surface 403 and the second curved surface 405, the first curved surface 403, the second curved surface 405, and the third curved surface 407 are located at the periphery of the planar region 401, and an edge of the third curved surface 407 facing away from the body region 401a forms a bottom edge 423.
Further, referring to fig. 2 and fig. 3, a geometric plane where the planar area 401 is located is taken as a reference plane, the first transition area 402 is a curved surface, and a width of a forward projection of the first transition area 402 on the reference plane is kept constant from the extension area 401b to the first curved surface 403, that is, a width of a forward projection of the first transition area 402 on the reference plane is kept constant from the extension area 401b to the first side edge 425. The second transition region 404 is a curved surface, and the width of the orthogonal projection of the second transition region 404 on the reference plane is kept constant from the extension region 401b to the second curved surface 405, that is, the width of the orthogonal projection of the second transition region 404 on the reference plane is kept constant from the extension region 401b to the second side edge. Further, the width of the orthographic projection of the first transition area 402 on the reference plane is equal to the width of the orthographic projection of the second transition area 404 on the reference plane. This arrangement makes it easy to process the first curved surface 403 and the second curved surface 405, and can maintain the structural strength of the edge portion of the cell cover 400. It will be appreciated that the body region 401a and the epitaxial region 401b can be clearly divided according to the above structure, and specifically, the first transition region 402 has an edge line far from the top edge 421, the second transition region 404 has an edge line far from the top edge 421, and the end point connecting the two edge lines and the epitaxial region 401b intersects forms the dividing line b, so that the epitaxial region 401b is located on the side of the dividing line b close to the top edge 421, and the body region 401a is located on the side of the dividing line b far from the top edge 421. It is understood that the dividing line b is an imaginary line.
In the mobile terminal 10, since the rear surface 420 includes the planar area 401 covering the camera module 300, ambient light can pass through the main body area 401a or the extension area 401b of the planar area 401 and be incident on the camera module 300, and the battery cover 400 does not need to be provided with a light through hole, which is beneficial to maintaining the appearance integrity of the battery cover 400 to improve the appearance characteristics of the mobile terminal 10. Since the extension area 401b extends to the top edge 421, the optical axis of the camera module 300 can be disposed as close to the top edge 421 as possible, so as to reduce the distance between the optical axis of the camera module 300 and the top edge 421, thereby making the arrangement of the internal components of the mobile terminal 10 more compact. For example, in the mobile terminal 10 having such a structure, the arrangement of components such as a main board, a battery, and the like can be more flexible. For another example, since the camera module 300 is closer to the top edge 421, in some embodiments, by changing the positions of some electronic components on the main board, the installation space of the battery can be increased, so as to increase the volume of the battery, and further increase the cruising ability of the mobile terminal 10.
Referring to fig. 7, in another embodiment, the mobile terminal 10 includes a display screen module 100, a case 200, a camera module 300, and a battery cover 400. The Display screen module 100 may be configured to Display information and provide an interactive interface for a user, and the Display screen module 100 may be an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) screen or an OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) screen. The housing 200 is substantially rectangular, and the housing 200 may be sometimes referred to as a middle frame, and includes a metal base and a plurality of accessory structures such as a boss, a through hole, a counter bore, and a sink injection-molded on the metal base, and these accessory structures may be used to position the internal electronic components of the mobile terminal 10, so as to facilitate assembling the electronic components such as the display screen module 100, the main board, and the battery of the mobile terminal 10 to the housing 200 and form a reliable connection with the housing 200. The material of the metal substrate can be aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy, stainless steel or the like.
The display module 100 is connected to one side of the housing 200, and the camera module 300 is located at a back side of the displayable region of the display module 100. With reference to fig. 8, the rear surface 420 includes a first transition region 402, a second transition region 404 and a planar region 401 covering the camera module 300, the planar region 401 includes a body region 401a and an extension region 401b coplanar with the body region 401a, the extension region 401b is located between the first transition region 402 and the second transition region 404, the extension region 401b is connected to the top edge 421 through a transition surface 409, ambient light can pass through the body region 401a or the extension region 401b and be incident on the camera module 300, the first transition region 402 is connected to one end of the transition surface 409, the second transition region 404 is connected to the other end of the transition surface 409, and the body region 401a is connected to one side of the first transition region 402, the extension region 401b and the second transition region 404, which side is away from the top edge 421.
8, 9 and 10, a geometric plane of the plane area 401 may be used as a reference plane, the battery cover 400 forms a top edge 421, a bottom edge 423, a first side edge 425 and a second side edge 427 at an edge of a front projection of the reference plane, and a width d2 of the transition surface 409 at the front projection of the reference plane is less than 0.2 mm. The transition surface 409 may be a flat surface or a curved surface, and the transition surface 409 may be formed via a chamfer. Specifically, the transition surface 409 formed by the chamfer is a plane, and the transition surface 409 formed by the chamfer is an arc surface. The provision of the transition surface 409 can effectively reduce the stress concentration phenomenon at the top edge 421 to maintain the structural strength of the cell cover 400. In embodiments where the front projection of the top edge 421 is a line segment, the top edge 421 between the two ends of the transition surface 409 is a line segment, with the first transition region 402 at one end of the line segment and the second transition region 404 at the other end of the line segment. In other embodiments, top edge 421 may also be an arc, in which case top edge 421 between the two ends of transition surface 409 is an arc, first transition region 402 is located at one end of the arc, and second transition region 404 is located at the other end of the arc. In some embodiments, the top edge 421 between the two ends of the transition surface 409 is a line segment, and the top edges 421 at the two ends of the line segment may be arcs respectively. In some embodiments, the top edge 421 between the two ends of the transition surface 409 is an arc, and the top edges 421 at the two ends of the arc may be line segments respectively. Further, the first transition area 402 and the second transition area 404 may be symmetrically disposed about a midpoint of the top edge 421 to improve the appearance characteristics of the battery cover 400, and thus the appearance characteristics of the mobile terminal 10.
Referring to fig. 9, the back surface 420 includes a first curved surface 403 and a second curved surface 405, the first curved surface 403 connects the first transition region 402, the second curved surface 405 connects the second transition region 404, the body region 401a is located between the first curved surface 403 and the second curved surface 405, and an edge of the first curved surface 403 facing away from the body region 401a forms a first side edge 425, and a side of the second curved surface 405 facing away from the body region 401a forms a second side edge 427.
9, with the geometric plane where the planar area 401 is located as a reference plane, the first transition area 402 is a curved surface, and the width of the orthographic projection of the first transition area 402 on the reference plane is kept unchanged from the extension area 401b to the first curved surface 403, that is, the width of the orthographic projection of the first transition area 402 on the reference plane is kept unchanged from the extension area 401b to the first side edge 425. The second transition region 404 is a curved surface, and the width of the orthogonal projection of the second transition region 404 on the reference plane is kept constant from the extension region 401b to the second curved surface 405, that is, the width of the orthogonal projection of the second transition region 404 on the reference plane is kept constant from the extension region 401b to the second side edge 427. With reference to fig. 10, it can be understood that the body region 401a and the epitaxial region 401b can be clearly divided according to the above structure, specifically, the first transition region 402 has an edge line far from the top edge 421, the second transition region 404 has an edge line far from the top edge 421, and an end point connecting the two edge lines and intersecting with the epitaxial region 401b forms a dividing line b, so that the epitaxial region 401b is located on a side of the dividing line b close to the top edge 421, and the body region 401a is located on a side of the dividing line b far from the top edge 421.
Since the extension area 401b of the plane area 401 is connected to the top edge 421 through the transition surface 409, and the width d2 of the orthogonal projection of the transition surface 409 on the reference plane is less than 0.2mm, the optical axis of the camera module 300 can be disposed as close to the top edge 421 as possible, so that the arrangement of the internal components of the mobile terminal 10 is more compact.
10, the field angle of the camera module 300 passes through the extension region 401b in whole or in part. Specifically, in an embodiment, the angle of view of the camera module 300 intersects the rear surface 420 to form a boundary line a, the boundary line a is circular, and all or part of a region enclosed by the boundary line a falls within the extension area 401 b. This arrangement enables the optical axis of the camera module 300 to be as close to the top edge 421 as possible, so as to reduce the distance between the optical axis of the camera module 300 and the top edge 421, thereby making the arrangement of the internal components of the mobile terminal more flexible and compact. It is understood that the definition that the angle of view of the camera module 300 passes through the extension region 401b in whole or in part is not essential, for example, the angle of view of the camera module 300 may pass through the body region 401a in whole, and the area encircled by the boundary line a falls into the body region 401a in whole.
In one embodiment, the minimum distance d3 between the boundary line a and the top edge 421 corresponding to the extension area 401b is 1.5mm to 3.7 mm. Further, the minimum distance d3 between the boundary line a and the top edge 421 corresponding to the extension zone 401b is 2mm to 2.7 mm. Specifically, in the embodiment shown in fig. 10, the boundary line a formed by the intersection of the field angle and the rear surface 420 is a circle, and the top edge 421 corresponding to the extension region 401b is a line segment, so that the minimum distance between the boundary line a and the top edge 421 can be defined as follows: the line on which the top edge 421 is located is moved so that the line is tangent to the circle, and the minimum moving distance that can satisfy the tangent condition is the minimum distance between the boundary line a and the top edge 421.
