the locking mechanism comprises a motor (41) and a locking bolt (44), the locking bolt (44) is connected with the motor (41) through a transmission mechanism (42) and is arranged in the panel seat (20) in a sliding mode under the driving of the motor (41), locking grooves (34) matched with the locking bolt (44) are formed in the upper side and the lower side of the lock shaft (30), and one end, close to the lock shaft (30), of the locking bolt (44) is embedded in the locking grooves (34) through the locking mechanism, so that the lock shaft (30) and the shifting fork (50) are locked;
the fingerprint module (70) is electrically connected with the motor (41) and controls the operation of the motor (41).

The fingerprint lock for doors and windows as claimed in claim 1, wherein the locking mechanism further comprises a pull rod (43) and a return compression spring (45) sleeved on the locking bolt (44) and used for driving the locking bolt (44) to slide towards the lock shaft (30), the pull rod (43) is connected with the motor (41) through a transmission mechanism (42) and can slide up and down in a reciprocating manner under the driving of the motor (41), one end of the locking bolt (44) far away from the lock shaft (30) is movably connected with the pull rod (43), and the pull rod (43) can pull the locking bolt (44) to slide when sliding towards the direction far away from the lock shaft (30).
