Description

Device for packaging a group of individual goods and winding device for winding an individual good
Technical Field
The invention relates to a device for packaging a combination of individual goods using a wrapping device. The invention also relates to a winding device of this type. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for packaging a single-piece combination of goods.
Background
A number of methods or apparatuses for packaging single goods and combinations of single goods by means of a wrapping device are known from the prior art. DE 19955830 a1, for example, describes a corresponding method and a corresponding device for winding an object or a plurality of objects.
DE 3727076 a1 also shows a device for wrapping objects in the form of a stretched film with a film web, the objects being bound together thereby. In which the film web is wound around the packaging unit by means of a winding unit. The film web is wound around the continuously transported packaging unit by rotation of the support ring in a plane transverse to the conveying direction of the packaging unit, so that the edge regions of the film web form an overlap. Thereby, a continuous package is formed.
EP 0140301 a1 describes a method and a device for the helical wrapping of individual packages or bales in a shrunk film, in which method or device the film is drawn off under tensile stress from two supply rolls and guided around the winding section by means of one (or more) supply roll guides (vortatsrolen-fuehreichtung).
In EP 0149227 a2, a similar method or a similar apparatus is also described, in which the bales are wrapped by two counter-rotating and inclined supply rolls. By means of this so-called cross-winding, it is possible to achieve a elimination of the torsional stress generated by the film without the risk of the packaged goods moving.
In response to the demand for faster and faster production speeds, it has proved disadvantageous that changing parameters such as the packaging speed can lead to increased instability of the assembly of the individual goods and does not guarantee a smooth process flow.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention is therefore based on the object of providing a method and a device for packaging a single-piece goods assembly, in which method and device, in particular, the single-piece goods can be packaged cost-effectively and time-effectively and the quality and the process reliability of the single-piece goods assembly is optimized. This object is achieved by the subject matter of the independent claims. Advantageous embodiments and developments are the subject matter of the dependent claims.
The device according to the invention for packaging individual goods groups has a transport device which moves in a defined transport direction T at a feed speed v in a stream of articles or goodssA plurality of individual goods are transported. The device also has a first winding device which is suitable and provided for winding the piece goods with the film element. The first winding device has a dispensing machine to be wound, at a winding speed vuSurrounding the single piece of cargo. The dispensing machine is here arranged at a defined angle α with respect to the transport direction T. The piece goods can be fed to a first wrapping device for wrapping with the film element.
According to the invention, the angle alpha can be dependent on the feed speed v of the piece goodssAnd/or the surrounding velocity v of the dispensing machineuSelected and/or changed accordingly. The angle is in particular selectable here in order to change the feed angle and/or the positioning angle relative to the transport direction of the piece goods.
Advantageously, the angle α is here the opening angle of a conical track on which the dispensing machine surrounds the piece goods while the film elements are fed to the piece goods. The angle α may here denote the angle at which the dispensing machine as a whole is inclined with respect to the direction of transport of the piece goods, and/or the angle at which a film roll provided at the dispensing machine is inclined, and/or the angle at which an output element from which the film element is fed to the piece goods is inclined. In particular, the direction of the dispenser, as the side used to determine the angle α, is understood to be the direction perpendicular to the direction in which the film element leaves the dispenser.
In particular, the individual goods can be containers, beverage containers, plastic containers, glass containers, cans, etc. In principle, however, the device according to the invention is suitable for packaging virtually any combination of individual goods and any individual goods.
Advantageously, the winding device winds the single-piece goods combination in a running direction around the transport direction of the single-piece goods combination. In a further advantageous embodiment, the transport direction is a straight transport direction. In particular, the horizontal transport direction. Advantageously, the winding device winds the stream of articles in a coil-like and/or spiral-like manner and in particular in a winding direction around the direction of transport of the single items.
Advantageously, the dispensing machine of the winding device is arranged at a ring-shaped or sleeve-shaped stand. In this case, it is advantageous if the ring carrier is rotatably mounted. Advantageously the annular bracket is rotatably mounted with respect to a constant axis of rotation. Preferably, the carrier is rotatable about an axis of rotation parallel to the transport direction of the piece goods. However, it is conceivable that the axis of rotation of the pallet is inclined to the direction of transport of the piece goods. Advantageously, the device has a drive which drives the rotatable carrier. Here, the driving is preferably performed via contact with the outer circumference of the annular carrier. For example, the ring shaped carrier may be supported above a plurality of wheels, wherein at least one of the wheels is driven by the drive means.
Advantageously, the piece goods are moved through the ring-shaped or sleeve-shaped carrier in their transport direction in their transport. Advantageously, the film elements are here fed to the individual goods starting from the long side of the dispensing machine.
In particular, the dispenser is pivotably arranged at the carrier.
In an advantageous embodiment, one end of the dispenser is fixed to the carrier, while the other end of the dispenser is designed to be free floating in the longitudinal direction. In this case, it is preferred to mount a movement mechanism, in particular a pivoting mechanism, at a fixed end of the dispensing machine, in order to pivot the dispensing machine advantageously from a position parallel to the transport direction T, so as to move the free end selectively towards or away from the piece goods.
However, it is conceivable to fix the dispenser such that the dispenser is fixed at both ends in the longitudinal direction. In this case it is possible that both ends of the dispenser are provided with a pivoting mechanism.
However, it is conceivable to mount the pivoting mechanism in another position of the dispenser-for example in the middle of the longitudinal axis. In this case, pivoting of the dispenser causes one end of the dispenser to approach the piece of merchandise and the other end of the dispenser to be spaced away from the piece of merchandise.
In all exemplary embodiments, the angle α preferably corresponds to the angle enclosed by the longitudinal axis of the stream of goods or the stream of goods and the dispensing machine through the individual goods and/or the film roll and/or the output device arranged thereon. The angle alpha may take positive or negative values, since it is preferably rotatable in both directions. An angle of 0 ° is understood here to mean a direction in which the longitudinal direction is parallel to the transport direction of the piece goods.
Advantageously, the dispensing machine runs around a circulating track in the form of a circular track or a conical track around the individual goods, wherein the precise circulating track can be controlled via the angle α and/or the lateral distance around the transport direction.
Preferably, the apparatus also has a control device for controlling the feed speed v of the piece goodssAnd/or the surrounding velocity v of the dispensing machineuAnd/or angle alpha. In particular, the speed v is set using a control devicesAnd vuAnd angle alpha are optionally mutually synchronized or separated from each other. In this way, it is possible, for example, to vary the feed speed v of the piece goodssWhile only the angle alpha is changed, while the circulating speed v of the dispenser is changeduAnd remain constant. However, it is also possible for the angle αMaintaining constant, changing the speed of revolution v of the dispenseru. Changing both the angle alpha and the surrounding velocity v of the dispenseruAre also conceivable. Similar considerations apply to the speed of revolution v of the dispensing machineuDesired change of the image.
The control device can be operated manually or automatically. It is possible in particular that the control device can be programmed in such a way that the feed speed v is variedsIn time, the change of angle occurs automatically, and the surrounding velocity vuDo not change or, for example, change only by a certain order of magnitude. At a surrounding velocity vuThe same can be done with the changes.
The variation of the angle alpha can be technically realized in many ways. For example, pneumatic, hydraulic, electromechanical or other known pivoting drive mechanisms are conceivable.
Advantageously, the dispenser is designed to be suitable for feeding film elements from the film store to the single piece goods.
In one embodiment, the film store may be mounted at the dispensing machine, for example in the form of a film roll. At least one dispensing machine has a receiving device, in particular for rotatably receiving a film roll. For example, the dispensing machine has at least one roller carriage onto which, for example, a film roller can be pushed. The film roll can rotate during operation and unroll the film element. In this embodiment, the roller carriage is advantageously pivotably arranged at the carriage so that the angle α corresponds to the angle between the roller carriage (and possibly also the longitudinal direction of the film roll) and the stream of articles or goods of the piece of goods.
Furthermore, the dispensing machine may have at least one guide roller, and preferably a plurality of guide rollers, via which the film element is deflected. Furthermore, for example, a slot-shaped delivery element is provided, from which the film elements are fed to the piece goods.
In a further embodiment, it is also conceivable that the dispenser has a prismatic element by means of which the film element is pulled out of the film store. In this case, the angle α is preferably the angle between the angular element and the stream of articles or goods of the single piece of goods.
Advantageously, in all embodiments of the dispensing machine, the film elements are fed to the piece goods in web form. In particular, the membrane element is preferably guided without folds.
Preferably, the film element is a stretchable film, in particular a stretchable stretched film or a stretched film, having a film thickness typically in the order of 10 μm. The film is stretchable when wrapped around a single good, with the elongation typically being less than 20% of the length of the relaxed film.
In particular, the movement of the dispenser around the single piece of goods may be achieved by rotating a carriage on which the dispenser is fixedly mounted. However, it is also conceivable to mount the carrier fixedly, while the dispenser is moved along the carrier at the carrier. The movement can take place here clockwise or counterclockwise relative to the transport direction of the piece goods.
In particular, if the wrapping device is not only used to wrap the single-piece goods assembly in one layer, but also to wrap it in an overlapping manner, the stability of the packaged single-piece goods assembly can be increased. The stronger overlapping of the individual windings of the film element here leads to an increased stability of the assembly of the piece goods. On the other hand, too much overlapping of the wound layers results in a slowing down of the packaging process. For this reason, it is necessary to choose the degree of overlap in relation to the specific requirements of the individual packages. In particular, the degree of overlap may be determined by the feed speed vsAnd/or the surrounding velocity vuThe associated change in angle alpha.
Advantageously, a second wrapping device is arranged downstream of the first wrapping device in the transport direction T of the piece goods, which second wrapping device is adapted and designed for wrapping the piece goods with another film element. This makes it possible to achieve an increased stability of the packaged piece goods combination. A particularly high stability can be achieved if the winding direction of the second winding device is opposite to the winding direction of the first winding device. Thereby, a so-called cross winding is achieved, in which the winding is applied around the piece goods in two crossing layers. Advantageously, the further winding device is also implemented in the manner described above.
In order to increase the stability of the packaged single-piece goods combination, a further additional wrapping device can be provided after the first and second wrapping devices.
In a further advantageous embodiment, at least one winding device has a rigid carrier. The rigid carrier can be transported and in particular onto which the stream of individual goods can be pushed. Advantageously, the particularly rigid carrier is likewise wrapped by the film element. The piece goods or containers that have been wrapped can then be pushed or pulled from the carrier. The membrane element is then applied against one side of the container, for example the bottom of a bottle. Preferably, the carrier extends in the transport direction of the piece goods or containers, and in particular the carrier extends at least partially through the at least one winding device.
In a further advantageous embodiment, the winding device also has a lateral guide element, which is preferably wound as well. The single-piece goods combination can also be pulled out of the side guide element after winding.
Advantageously, the side guide elements extend in the transport direction of the piece goods, for example, the side guide elements are designed as rods. Furthermore, it is also conceivable, for example, for such side guide elements to extend continuously through the first winding device and through further winding devices which may be present. Here, preferably, two such lateral guide elements can be present, which each laterally limit the article flow.
In a further advantageous embodiment, the transport device has a feed device which, in the working operation of at least one of the wrapping devices, pushes the piece goods and/or removes the wrapped piece goods from the wrapping device. The transport device can thus push the assembly of single-piece goods onto the above-mentioned rigid carrier and carry out a continuous winding on the carrier. Advantageously, the winding of the single piece goods takes place generally spirally by combining the feeding movement and the winding of the single piece goods in combination.
In a further advantageous embodiment, the device has a cutting unit or a separating unit which is suitable and intended for severing the film elements to a defined extent. In this way, the continuously wound piece goods can be positioned first, for example with four, six or eight containers in divided bales. Advantageously, the separating unit is designed here to separate the single-piece goods combination in a defined position, in particular between two containers.
Further, the invention relates to a wrapping device for wrapping a single piece of goods with a film element. The single piece goods can be fed in a predetermined transport direction T at a feed speed vsIs fed to the winding device for winding with the film element. The winding device has a distributor which surrounds the piece goods, wherein the distributor is operated at a surrounding speed vuEncircling the piece of goods and arranged at an angle alpha with respect to the transport direction T.
According to the invention, the angle alpha can be dependent on the feed speed v of the piece goodssAnd/or the surrounding velocity v of the dispensing machineuAre selected in dependence.
In this context, reference is made in particular to the winding device used in the above-described apparatus, that is to say all the features carried out by the winding device of the above-described apparatus are likewise advantageous for the winding device described here.
The invention also relates to a method for packaging a combination of individual goods, wherein the transport device is fed at a speed vsA plurality of individual goods are transported in a defined transport direction T, and the first wrapping device wraps the individual goods with the film element. The first winding device has a distributor at a winding speed vuAround the piece goods and arranged at an angle alpha with respect to the transport direction T, wherein the piece goods is fed to a first winding device for winding with film elements.
According to the invention, the angle alpha can be dependent on the feed speed v of the piece goodssAnd/or the surrounding velocity v of the dispensing machineuAre selected in dependence.
The above-described device is particularly suitable for being set up and specified to be carried out by the method, i.e. features for all implementations of the above-described device are likewise disclosed for the method described here and vice versa.
In an advantageous method, the dispensing machine surrounds the piece goods along a circular or conical track and the film element is wound around the piece goods here.
Advantageously, the feed speed v of the single piece of goodssAnd/or the surrounding velocity v of the dispensing machineuAnd/or the angle alpha is controlled and varied via the control device. In this case, it is possible in particular for the speed v to besAnd vuAnd angle alpha are optionally mutually synchronized or separated from each other.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows a schematic view of a part of a packaging machine or an apparatus 50 according to the patent. In this case, individual goods 1 are supplied as a stream of goods or goods S. Reference numeral 3 denotes a transport device which transports the containers or the individual goods in a transport direction T. The transport device is preferably composed of a plurality of transport units, which can also be arranged between and after the respective winding device 2 and winding device 6. In the plant shown in fig. 1, the piece goods are fed in as a double-rail feed by means of a first conveyor. For example, the feeding device may be a conveyor belt, a mat chain conveyor, or the like.
Reference numeral 2 denotes a first winding device for winding a piece of goods with at least one layer of stretchable film (so-called stretch film). In this case, the film elements are preferably wound helically in a manner known per se onto the articles or containers conveyed side by side in pairs here, wherein sufficient tension of the film elements causes the article stream or the individual article stream to be held together mechanically in a fixed manner.
In order to bring about an undisturbed transport of the stream of articles or the stream of individual items in the first wrapping device 2, for example, a circumferential feed belt (not shown) can act laterally on the stream of articles or the stream of individual items S, which feed belt transports the individual items 1 through the first wrapping device 2 while the individual items 1 are wrapped together.
In the first wrapping device 2, for example, the piece goods 1 are slid onto a lower skid (not shown), which is likewise wrapped.
Reference numeral 60 designates a first feeding module downstream of the first wrapping device for the continued transport of a stream of articles or single-piece articles (typically by means of an upper and lower feeding belt or feeding belt) that have been wrapped with at least one layer of stretch film. The feed belt or feed belt can thereby be continuously looped over the length of the first feed module on the upper side or lower side of the stream of articles or individual articles and cause it to be conveyed further to the second wrapping device 6.
In the second winding device 6, a second layer of film elements can likewise be applied helically on the stream of articles or individual articles, preferably at a different winding angle than in the first winding device 2 and/or in the opposite winding direction (winding direction).
Reference numeral 61 denotes a further feed module and serves for the continued transport of the stream of articles or individual articles wound with the multilayer stretch film at this point. For this purpose, it is also possible to use an upper and lower feed belt or feed belt which, over the length of the second feed module 61, preferably continuously runs around on the upper or lower side of the stream of articles or individual items and causes the stream of articles or individual items to continue to be conveyed. By means of this transport, a multilayer helical film package (in which the individual goods 1 are packaged) wound with film elements and initially continuously moving in the transport direction is formed, wherein subsequently the plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and the transport device is optionally provided with perforations, and/or the package is severed between successive containers or container pairs or combinations of a plurality of transported individual goods 1. Correspondingly, reference numerals 62 and 64 denote cutting units or separating units for separating the film elements. Here, the two cutting units 62, 64 can be redundant in order to achieve a higher throughput speed.
Reference numeral 66 designates an output device which outputs the formed bale.
Fig. 2 shows a general schematic of the winding device. The winding device has an annular carrier, indicated as a whole with 25, which is rotatable here in the respective direction of rotation according to arrow P2. On this carriage, a dispensing machine 30 is provided, which is substantially schematic and only globally indicated. The dispenser has a dispensing element or receiving means 31, on which, for example, a drum 15, which is only schematically shown, is rotatably arranged with the film element 12 unwound therefrom. The film element 12 is used for winding the single-piece goods combination 10. Here too, a bracket 32 is shown, which is wound together with the side guide elements 34. After winding, the single piece cargo assembly 10 is pulled down from the brackets 32 and the side guide members 34 as described above.
Reference numerals 92 and 94 denote wheels for supporting the surrounding carriage 25. Here, it is also possible to drive one of the wheels.
Here, it is also possible, preferably, that the carriage 25 can be moved in two different rotational directions. Preferably, it is also possible that the carriage roller with the film element can be arranged both on the left and on the right on its rotatable carriage 31 in order to control the winding direction accordingly.
As the carriage 25 rotates, the dispensing machine 30 disposed thereon moves together along arrow P2. Here, the dispenser 30 is operated at a circulating speed vuWrapping around the single piece cargo assembly 10 and wrapping the single piece cargo assembly with the film member 12.
Fig. 3 shows a schematic side view of a winding device. The piece goods 1 are moved by the transport device 3 in the transport direction T through the wrapping device 2 in the goods flow or goods flow S. The piece goods 1 here have a feed speed vsAnd the dispenser 30 at a circulating speed vuSurrounding the single piece of cargo. Here, the circular track of the dispenser 30 in the form of a cone is shown in dashed lines. When the dispenser 30 surrounds the single piece of goods 1, the single piece is wound up by the film element 12A piece of goods 1.
The dispensing machine 30 is arranged at a changeable angle (α) with respect to the transport direction (T). The angle (α) can be adjusted via a not shown pivoting mechanism. The feed speed v can likewise be controlled by a control device, not shownsA surrounding velocity vuAnd an angle (alpha). In the figures, the angle (α) is in the same plane as the transport direction (T) corresponding to the axis around which the machine is wrapped.
Furthermore, in this figure, the bracket 32 and the side guide element 34 wound together can be identified.
