Background
The wiper for the vehicle window includes a wiper arm driven by an electric driver to reciprocate and a wiper blade detachably mounted to an end of the wiper arm so as to be driven by the wiper arm to wipe the window to clean the window, thereby maintaining the clarity of the window. In order to maintain a sufficiently large clear area, the wiper blade must be sufficiently large. However, the wiper is too large in appearance, not beautiful, and not safe when exposed to glass. Detailed Description
Referring to fig. 1 to 7, a vehicle mounted with a wiper 100 according to an embodiment of the present application includes a windshield 2 and a protrusion 3. The wiper blade 18 of the wiper 100 contacts a wiped surface (typically, the outer surface of the glass) of the windshield 2. The windscreen 2 is, for example, the rear windscreen of a vehicle, and the projections 3 are mounted on the upper edge of the windscreen 2. For example, the tab 3 comprises one or more of a camera, spoiler, shroud, light or spray head. The projecting member 3 projects from the surface to be wiped with a space (not numbered) therebetween.
The wiper 100 includes an actuator 16, a wiper blade 18, and a wiper arm 1. The arm 12 is pivotable relative to the head 10 about a second axis X, which is perpendicular to the first axis Y. The elastic member 14 is configured to be elastically pre-deformed to be connected between the head 10 and the arm 12, thereby applying a force to the arm 12 toward the bottom surface 128 thereof. When the wiper blade 18 needs to be replaced, the arm 12 can be lifted from the window 2 and the elastic member 14 will be elastically extended further.
Referring to fig. 6 and the enlarged partial view of fig. 7, the second pivot portion 122 includes an opening (not numbered) opened toward the end, and the pin 4 can be installed into the second pivot portion 122 through the opening. A stop part 123 is further disposed near the pivot part 122, and the stop part 123 is located at the edge of the opening. When the arm 12 is lifted from the glass 2, the arm 12 moves in a direction approaching the protruding member 3, the stopper 123 is stopped by the nail 105 of the head 10 before the arm 12 hits the protruding member 3, the stopper 123 restricts the pivoting angle of the arm 12 with respect to the head 10, and the arm 12 is prevented from hitting the protruding member 3.
The arm 12 also includes opposing top and bottom surfaces 126 and 128. The bottom surface 128 is the side that faces the surface to be wiped, and the top surface 126 is the side that faces away from the surface to be wiped. The top surface 126 is provided with a top recess 127 extending through in the lateral direction, and the top recess 127 is located between the second pivot portion 122 and the mounting portion 124. The effective depth of the top concave portion 127 is not less than the effective width W1 of the 5 mm portion is not less than 7 cm. In some embodiments, the closest distance d1 from the location where the effective depth of the top concave portion 127 is not less than 5 millimeters to the second axis X is not less than 8 centimeters. For example, the closest distance d1 is 8 centimeters, 8.5 centimeters, 9 centimeters, 9.5 centimeters, 10 centimeters, 10.5 centimeters, 11 centimeters, or 12 centimeters. The portion having the effective depth of not less than 5 mm is staggered from the second contact portion 125 in the longitudinal direction, so that the second contact portion 125 can be set relatively deep (i.e., positioned relatively upper), thereby mounting the elastic member 14 in a concealed manner. The arm portion 12 is formed by an injection molding process, and the top recess 127 and the bottom recess 129 are integrally formed on the arm portion 12 by an injection molding process, which facilitates manufacturing. The bottom surface 128 of the arm 12 is provided with a longitudinally extending cavity (not numbered) in which is provided a rib which extends at least below the roof recess 127.

Claims (10)

1. Wiper arm (1), characterized in that it comprises:
a head (10) comprising an first pivot (102) and a fixing (104) for fixing to a drive shaft (160);
an arm part (12) which comprises a second pivot part (122), a mounting part (124) for mounting the wiper blade (18), a top surface (126) and a bottom surface (128), wherein the bottom surface (128) is a side surface facing a surface to be wiped when in operation, the top surface (126) is opposite to the bottom surface (128), the first pivot part (102) is pivoted with the second pivot part (122), the arm part (12) is in a longitudinal shape, a top concave part (127) which penetrates along the transverse direction is arranged on the top surface (126), the top concave part (127) is positioned between the second pivot part (122) and the mounting part (124), and the effective depth of the top concave part (127) is not less than 5 mm, and the effective width of the top concave part is not less than 7 cm; and
an elastic member (14) configured to be elastically pre-deformed connected between the head portion (10) and the arm portion (12) so as to subject the arm portion (12) to a force directed toward a bottom surface (128) thereof.
2. Wiper arm (1) according to claim 1, wherein the drive shaft (160) is pivotable about a first axis (Y), the arm (12) being pivotable relative to the head (10) about a second axis (X), the second axis (X) being perpendicular to the first axis (Y).
3. Wiper arm (1) according to claim 2, wherein the closest distance of the point of the top recess (127) having an effective depth of not less than 5 mm to the second axis (X) is not less than 8 cm.

Wiper arm (1) according to claim 1, wherein the top recess (127) is integrally formed on the arm part (12) by means of an injection moulding process, the bottom surface (128) of the arm part (12) being provided with a cavity extending in the longitudinal direction, in which cavity a reinforcement rib is provided, which extends at least below the top recess (127).
5. Wiper (100), characterized in that it comprises an actuator (16), a wiper blade (18) and a wiper arm (1) according to one of claims 1 to 4, the actuator (16) comprising a drive shaft (160) which, in operation, outputs a rotary motion about a first axis (Y), the fixing portion (104) of the wiper arm (1) being fixed to the drive shaft (160), the wiper blade (18) being mounted to the mounting portion (124).
6. The wiper (100) according to claim 5, wherein a bottom recess (129) is provided on the bottom surface (128) so as to extend therethrough in the lateral direction, and an effective depth of the bottom recess (129) is not less than an effective width of a 4 mm portion and not less than 6 cm.
7. A wiper (100) as set forth in claim 6 wherein said wiper blade (18) includes an end cap (180) at one end of said wiper blade (18) in the longitudinal direction, said end cap (180) being located at said undercut (129).

The wiper (100) according to claim 6, wherein a deepest position of the top recess (127) and a deepest position of the bottom recess (129) are offset in a longitudinal direction of the arm portion (12), and the deepest position of the top recess (127) is closer to the mounting portion (124) than the deepest position of the bottom recess (129).

The vehicle according to claim 9, wherein the arm portion (12) is further provided with a stopper portion (123), and when the arm portion (12) is lifted to move in a direction approaching the protruding member (3), the stopper portion (123) is stopped by the head portion (10) before the arm portion (12) hits the protruding member (3); the drive shaft (160) is located in the space, and the protruding member (3) comprises one or more of a camera, a spoiler, a shield, a lamp or a spray head.
