The foldable housing assembly 201 is used to carry the foldable screen 203 while protecting the electronic components. It should be noted that, in the present specification, when an element is referred to as being "disposed on" another element, it can be connected to or directly disposed on the other element, or intervening elements may also be present; when a component is referred to as being "connected" to another component, it can be directly connected to the other component or intervening components may also be present.
The foldable housing assembly 201 includes a first housing 2011, a second housing 2013 and a hinge mechanism 2015, wherein the first housing 2011 and the second housing 2013 are respectively connected to two sides of the hinge mechanism 2015. The second housing 2013 can be folded or unfolded relative to the first housing 2011 through the rotating shaft mechanism 2015, so that the foldable housing assembly 201 drives the foldable screen 203 to be folded or unfolded, and when the foldable housing assembly 201 and the foldable screen 203 are overlapped, the size of the foldable electronic device 200 is relatively small, and the foldable electronic device is convenient to store and carry.
The electronic component includes a first electronic module, a second electronic module, and a flexible printed circuit board, the first electronic module is disposed in the first housing 2011, the second electronic module is disposed in the second housing 2013, and the flexible printed circuit board is electrically connected to the first electronic module and the second electronic module, respectively. Further, the first electronic module can be a mainboard, a central processing unit for arranging the mainboard, a memory, an antenna, a camera, a headset and the like. The second electronic module can also be composed of a printed circuit board and a functional module arranged on the printed circuit board, the second electronic module is different from the first electronic module, and the second electronic module can comprise a battery, a connector, a fingerprint module and the like.
The foldable screen 203 is laid on the first housing 2011, the rotating shaft mechanism 2015 and the second housing 2013 in sequence. The third side 1415 is connected between the first side 1411 and the second side 1413, and the third side 1413 is substantially parallel to the fixing portion 121. In use, the first side 1411, the second side 1413 and the third side 1415 correspond to the rim of the first housing 2011 respectively.
The flexible connection portion 143 serves to form a connection structure between the covering portion 141 and the movable portion 145 to allow the movable portion 145 to be folded or flipped with respect to the covering portion 141. The flexible connecting portion 143 is made of a bendable flexible material, such as: a leather material, a leather-like material, a cloth material, etc., it is understood that the flexible connecting portion 143 may also be made of a soft alloy material, such as titanium alloy, etc. In this embodiment, the number of the flexible connecting portions 143 is two, and one of the two flexible connecting portions 143 is connected to the first side 1411, and the other is connected to the second side 1413.
The movable portion 145 is connected to a flexible connecting portion 143, which enables connection between the housing 14 and the stand 12 and is used to wrap the rim of the first housing 2011. In the present embodiment, the number of the movable portions 145 is two. Each of the movable portions 145 is connected to a corresponding one of the flexible connecting portions 143, and can be turned over with respect to the covering portion 141 by the flexible connecting portion 143 to cover the rim of the first housing 2011 when the covering portion 141 covers the first display portion 2031 or the first housing 2011. Further, the two movable portions 145 are connected to the two support portions 125 of the bracket 12 in a one-to-one correspondence, respectively. In the present embodiment, the movable portions 145 are substantially bar-shaped, and each movable portion 145 overlaps the corresponding support portion 125, so that the support portion 125 can support and reinforce the structure of the movable portion 145, thereby making the protection of the foldable electronic device 200 by the housing 14 more reliable.
