Abstract
一种电连接器,其包括绝缘本体、固持在所述绝缘本体内的导电端子、包围在所述绝缘本体外的金属壳体及包覆于所述金属壳体的绝缘外壳,所述绝缘本体包括基座及自所述基座向前延伸的对接舌板,所述导电端子包括暴露在所述对接舌板相对表面的接触部,所述金属壳体环绕所述绝缘本体而形成第一收容空间,所述绝缘外壳设有自其内侧壁向所述第一收容空间凸伸的一圈凸肋,所述凸肋与所述金属壳体的外侧壁过盈干涉。本实用新型通过在绝缘外壳内侧壁设置一圈凸肋与金属壳体的外侧壁过盈干涉,从而在提升防水性能的同时防止溢胶。
Description
【技术领域】
本实用新型涉及一种电连接器,尤其涉及一种防水性能更佳且避免溢胶的电连接器。
【背景技术】
现阶段随着USB Type-C的迅速发展,其对于防水性能的需求也越来越高,为了提升USB Type-C连接器的防水性能,越来越多的连接器均会设置一防水胶板以密封防水,而该防水胶板大多以灌入液态胶水凝固而成,这就导致在灌入胶水的同时会使胶水流入连接器内部,从而影响连接器的整体性能。
因此,确有必要对现有的电连接器进行改进。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型所要解决的技术问题在于:提供一种可避免溢胶的电连接器。
为了解决上述技术问题,本实用新型的技术方案如下:
一种电连接器,其包括绝缘本体、固持在所述绝缘本体内的导电端子、包围在所述绝缘本体外的金属壳体及包覆于所述金属壳体的绝缘外壳,所述绝缘本体包括基座及自所述基座向前延伸的对接舌板,所述导电端子包括暴露在所述对接舌板相对表面的接触部,所述金属壳体环绕所述绝缘本体而形成第一收容空间,所述绝缘外壳设有自其内侧壁向所述第一收容空间凸伸的一圈凸肋,所述凸肋与所述金属壳体的外侧壁过盈干涉。
与现有技术相比,本电连接器通过在绝缘外壳内侧壁设置一圈凸肋与金属壳体的外侧壁过盈干涉,从而在提升防水性能的同时防止溢胶。

【具体实施方式】
请参考图1至图4所示,本实用新型揭示了一种电连接器,其包括绝缘本体1、固持在所述绝缘本体1内的若干导电端子2、包围在所述绝缘本体1外的金属壳体3及包覆于所述金属壳体3的绝缘外壳4。本实用新型电连接器在完成组装后,为使其具有良好的防水性能,还会在绝缘外壳4的前端注塑液态硅胶凝固形成防水圈5以及在绝缘外壳4的后端注塑液态胶水凝固形成密封所述电连接器的后胶板6。
参考图8所示,所述若干导电端子2分为上、下两排。每一排导电端子均包括位于最外两侧的接地端子2G、与所述接地端子2G相邻的电源端子2P以及位于两电源端子2P之间的信号端子2S。上、下排的接地端子2G之间还夹持有屏蔽片7。
在所述上、下两排导电端子2的外侧注塑绝缘材料形成固持所述导电端子2的绝缘块100。所述绝缘块100包括基座11及自基座11向前延伸的第一舌板101。在所述第一舌板101的外侧注塑绝缘材料填充所述第一舌板101而形成包覆在所述第一舌板101外侧的前绝缘块110。所述前绝缘块110与所述绝缘块100共同构成所述绝缘本体1。所述绝缘本体1固持所述导电端子2及屏蔽片7而共同构成端子模组。结合图6及图7所示,所述绝缘本体1包括基座11及由第一舌板101与前绝缘块110共同构成的对接舌板12。所述对接舌板12是自所述基座11向前延伸而成。所述导电端子2包括暴露在所述对接舌板12的相对表面的接触部21及自所述接触部21延伸且超出所述基座11的连接脚22。上、下两排导电端子2的接触部21为上下排布,而上、下两排导电端子2的连接脚22位于同一水平面上。所述基座11的顶部横向延伸有搭接部13。所述导电端子2的连接脚22固持在所述搭接部13内并穿出所述搭接部13而排列在搭接部13的下方。所述搭接部13设有若干在竖直方向上贯穿所述搭接部13的贯穿孔131,可用于导电端子2的散热。
将所述金属壳体3套设于所述端子模组。所述金属壳体3环绕所述绝缘本体1而构成第一收容空间300。所述金属壳体3包括环绕所述绝缘本体1的环形壁31及自环形壁31的顶部后端向后延伸的横向延伸部32。所述环形壁31的内侧壁设有若干凸向所述第一收容空间300的凸伸部311,所述基座11的上下两侧设有凹槽111,所述凸伸部311与所述凹槽111相互配合以固持金属壳体3与绝缘本体1。所述环形壁31的底部的后端还向上弯折有弯折脚312,所述基座11设有用以收容所述弯折脚312的缺口112。所述延伸部32搭接于所述基座11的搭接部13。
参考图3至图5及图9所示,所述绝缘外壳4包覆于所述金属壳体3的外侧。所述绝缘外壳4包括包覆于所述金属壳体3外侧壁的第一绝缘外壳41及自第一绝缘外壳41继续向前延伸的第二绝缘外壳42。所述对接舌板12向前突伸超出所述第一收容空间300,所述第二绝缘外壳42环绕所述对接舌板12而形成第二收容空间400。所述第一收容空间300的尺寸大于所述第二收容空间400的尺寸,所述第二绝缘外壳42的内侧壁距离所述对接舌板12的尺寸较所述第一绝缘外壳41的内侧壁距离对接舌板12的尺寸小。所述绝缘外壳4还包括连接所述第一绝缘外壳41内侧壁与所述第二绝缘外壳42内侧壁的横断面43,所述金属壳体3的前端抵持于所述横断面43。所述第一绝缘外壳41设有自其内侧壁向所述第一收容空间300凸伸的一圈凸肋44,所述凸肋44与所述金属壳体3的外侧壁过盈干涉。所述凸肋44与所述绝缘外壳4一体成型且其前端壁441为倾斜的导引面、其后端壁441垂直于所述绝缘外壳4的内侧壁。
所述电连接器还包括一金属件8,所述金属件8与所述绝缘外壳4一体成型。所述金属件8包括固定于所述绝缘外壳4的主体部81及自所述主体部81向后延伸超出所述绝缘外壳4后端的固定部82。所述主体部81设有若干通孔811,所述绝缘外壳4的上表面凸设有若干凸块45,所述凸块45卡持于所述通孔而将所述金属件8与所述绝缘外壳4固持。所述金属件8的上表面与所述绝缘外壳4的上表面位于同一水平面。在本实施例中,所述金属件8是与所述绝缘外壳4一体注塑成型,所述金属件8的主体部81延伸有若干接脚812以埋入所述绝缘外壳4内而提升金属件8与绝缘外壳4的固持力,当然,所述金属件8并不局限于一体成型固持方法,也可通过其他方式固定于所述绝缘外壳4。所述金属件8的固定部82搭接于所述金属壳体3的延伸部32并可通过点焊固定。
与现有技术相比,本实用新型电连接器100通过在绝缘外壳4的内侧壁朝向第一收容空间300凸伸设置一圈凸肋44,且该凸肋的后端壁442垂直于所述绝缘外壳4内侧壁设置,从而在绝缘外壳4的后端注塑液态胶水凝固形成后胶板6的时候,避免胶水溢入电连接器前端而影响电连接器的整体对接性能,另外,所述凸肋44还可以提升金属壳体3与绝缘外壳4间的稳固效果。

Claims (10)
1.一种电连接器,其包括绝缘本体、固持在所述绝缘本体内的导电端子、包围在所述绝缘本体外的金属壳体及包覆于所述金属壳体的绝缘外壳,所述绝缘本体包括基座及自所述基座向前延伸的对接舌板,所述导电端子包括暴露在所述对接舌板相对表面的接触部,所述金属壳体环绕所述绝缘本体而形成第一收容空间,其特征在于:所述绝缘外壳设有自其内侧壁向所述第一收容空间凸伸的一圈凸肋,所述凸肋与所述金属壳体的外侧壁过盈干涉。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述凸肋与所述绝缘外壳一体成型且所述凸肋前端壁为倾斜的导引面。
3.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述电连接器进一步包括于绝缘外壳后端灌入胶水凝固形成的后胶板,所述凸肋与所述绝缘外壳一体成型且所述凸肋后端壁垂直于所述绝缘外壳的内侧壁。
4.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述对接舌板向前突伸出所述第一收容空间,所述绝缘外壳包括包覆于所述金属壳体外侧壁的第一绝缘外壳及自所述第一绝缘外壳继续向前延伸的第二绝缘外壳,所述第二绝缘外壳环绕所述对接舌板而形成第二收容空间,所述第二绝缘外壳的内侧壁距离所述对接舌板的尺寸较第一绝缘外壳的内侧壁距离对接舌板的尺寸小。
5.如权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述绝缘外壳还包括连接所述第一、第二绝缘外壳的内侧壁的横断面,所述横断面垂直于所述第一绝缘外壳的内侧壁。
6.如权利要求5所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述金属壳体的前端抵持于所述横断面。
7.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述电连接器还包括与所述绝缘外壳一体成型的金属件,所述金属件包括固定于所述绝缘外壳的主体部及自所述主体部向后延伸超出绝缘外壳后端的固定部,所述主体部设有若干通孔。
8.如权利要求7所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述绝缘外壳的上表面凸设有若干凸块,所述凸块卡持于所述通孔而将所述金属件与所述绝缘外壳固定在一起。
9.如权利要求8所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述金属壳体的后端向上再向后延伸有延伸部,所述延伸部与所述金属件的固定部紧贴并通过焊接固定。
10.如权利要求7所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述金属件主体部的上表面与所述绝缘外壳的上表面位于同一水平面。
