泥鳅，被誉为“水中人参”，高蛋白，低脂肪，富含多种人体所需氨基酸，尤具补益气血、滋阴温肾之功效。全球喜爱吃食泥鳅的国家首选韩国和日本，泥鳅的货源85％以上靠中国供应。近年来，由于人们频繁捕捞及泥鳅的生存环境不断恶化，野生泥鳅资源越来少，供与需已形成了一对尖锐矛盾，因此大量的人工养殖涌现出来，通常泥鳅的养殖为高密度养殖，不利于泥鳅的生长，为了有效改善泥鳅的生长环境，现有技术推出了利于泥鳅生长的栖息装置，但其并不能防止泥鳅逃逸。
