为了解决上述技术问题,本实用新型的一种电容放电消磁直流电磁铁,包括 
直流电磁铁芯,铁芯绕组,直流电源,其特征是,在铁芯绕组两端并联一个电容,电容两极和铁芯绕组两接线端活动连接,电容和换向开关固定在一起,并可绕换向开关转轴作半周旋转,所述直流电磁铁芯为硬磁材料。
采用本设计的有益效果是:当需使用电磁铁时,直流电源向铁芯绕组供电的同时,也在向电容充电,突然断电时,由于电磁铁芯为硬磁材料所以继续保持磁性,任然吸附在工件上,不会因为断电电磁铁掉下地面伤人,当需取下电磁铁时,拨动换向开关,使电容电极正负极反向接入铁芯绕组,给电磁铁一个反向磁场和原磁场抵消,电磁铁就可取下。
