目前，玉米育种和实验室测定玉米穗粗、穗长一般采用直尺直接测定，本方法存在一定误差，而且劳动强度也比较大。

本实用新型的目的在于提供一种易操作，测定准确，效率高的玉米穗粗、穗长测定装置。
本实用新型是这样实现的，一种玉米穗粗、穗长测定装置，水平方向布置水平挡板，水平挡板左侧布置垂直方向挡板；水平挡板上方设有直尺，在直尺下方部位制有滑道，滑道上布置有滑杆。
进一步，在直尺上安装有限位卡环。

如图1所示水平方向布置水平挡板1，水平挡板1左侧布置垂直方向挡板2；水平挡板1上方设有直尺3，在直尺3下方部位制有滑道4，滑道4上布置有滑杆5，在直尺3上安装有限位卡环6。穗粗测定是首先将玉米穗基部紧靠水平挡板1，穗平行紧靠左侧垂直挡板2，其它穗向右依次排放，所有测定穗排放结束后，拉动滑道4上的滑杆5至最后一个玉米穗的外侧，并用限位卡环6固定滑杆，读取滑杆5正对的尺子读数，即为所测玉米穗的总穗粗值；穗长测定是将穗基部紧靠垂直挡板2，穗平行紧靠右侧垂直挡板1，拉动滑道4上的滑杆5至穗的顶端，并用限位卡环6固定滑杆5，读取滑杆5正对的直尺3的读数，即为所测玉米穗的穗长。
