如图1所示，本设计的暖瓶塞包含圆形且一头大一头小的塞体1，在塞体内装置有多个均匀分布的竖向滤管2，可用软木塞钻孔加工，也可通过注塑工艺来加工制作，塞体外固接有手柄3。使用时，需将正常使用的瓶塞拿开后换上本设计的带手柄的凉水暖瓶塞，塞紧后如常一样的向杯碗里倒水，加带的手柄可有效地防止瓶塞在倒水时掉落，由于从滤管流出的水是多道细流，大大增加了热水与空气的接触面积，冷却速度自然会快了不少，降温效果是可靠而简单的。
