本实用新型所述砧板为方形板材结构，在砧板侧面向内开设刀槽，在刀槽内安插刀具；在砧板顶边活动连接铡刀。
使用时，使用者把菜刀、水果刀等刀具按照砧板侧面的刀槽大小和型号而放入刀槽内，有效利用砧板的空间，使得厨具尽可能的集中，便于人们寻找和使用。另外，在切割食物时，使用者一手握住铡刀，另一只手在砧板上推动菜品，利用铡刀快速、大面积的切割菜品，可缩短切割时间。
