本实用新型节水水龙头，包括：水龙头1，转动手把2带动螺纹柱3，螺纹柱3的底端有个突出部分，正下方有金属片，金属片下就是软金属条4，软金属条4的下面有个凹槽5，软金属条又连接马达6。
本实用新型节水水龙头是这样实现的：当转动手把带动螺纹柱，使螺纹柱向下移动，碰触到金属片，马达开始启动，启动后是螺纹柱继续向下移动，直到突出部分嵌入凹槽内，软金属条与马达断开，马达停止运作。
本实用新型节水水龙头的优点是：可自动闭合水龙头，防止没关紧而使水滴漏，造成水资源的浪费。
