本实用新型解决其技术问题所采用的方案是：悬铃木叶柄从悬铃木叶中获取，悬铃木叶柄干燥后的强度、柔韧性、几何尺寸以及自然弯曲形状使其成为理想的制作天然牙签材料。从悬铃木叶中截取长度为45～50mm的叶柄，然后清洗、高温消毒灭菌、自然干燥或烘干即制成悬铃木叶柄牙签成品。牙签成品强度和柔韧性好，呈自然弯曲形状，达到使用舒适、不易折断的目的。
本实用新型的有益效果是：可以方便舒适地剔除牙齿间的异物，特别是由于采用悬铃木叶制取，不仅加工简单方便，成本低，且可以充分有效地利用悬铃木叶，自然环保。
