全自动粘箱机就是从纸板送入、折叠、涂胶、加压、整形、捆扎等工序全部由机械自动一次完成，它的特点就是节省人力、效率高。目前，欧美等发达国家基本都采用这种生产模式，而中国目前只是在少数大型纸箱企业中采用。
在粘箱机的运送结构中，先前是直接安装于皮带上的导杆推动纸箱传动，将纸张带到运送位置，但是导杆稳定性较差，推动纸张过程，会损坏纸张的棱边，影响生产的纸箱的质量。

全自动粘箱机纸板运送装置，包括支架1、导辊2，支架1两侧分别安装有一排等间隔的导辊2，导辊2之间安装有带传动机构3，带传动机构3两侧与上层皮带3-1等高处有安装于支架上的导杆4，导杆4上分别水平滑动安装有气缸5，保证率气缸5的稳定性，气缸5另一侧与上层皮带3-1相连接，通过上层皮带3-1提供动力，气缸5的活塞杆上固定有挡板6，挡板6前端面粘合有弹性的橡胶垫7，挡板6上端设有挡沿8。
