各种锯时木工加工制作中常用的工具，一般锯只能锯出直线缝，不能加工曲线，钢丝锯虽然可以加工曲线但只能加工小型物品。

为了克服现有的不可加工曲线或只能加工小型物品不足，本实用新型提供一种绳形锯，该绳形锯不仅可加工曲线，而且还能供两人同时使用加工大型物品。
本实用新型解决其技术问题所采用的技术方案是：一种绳形锯，包括锯条，其特征是：所述的锯条为柔性钢丝绳和固定在钢丝绳内与钢丝绳母线夹角为60-80度的钢丝棘刺组成，钢丝棘刺两端露出绳外1-3mm，锯条两端分别装有由螺钉固定的拉环。
本实用新型的有益效果是由于锯条为固定有钢丝棘刺的柔性钢丝绳制成可以根据需要任意锯出各种轨迹的锯口，两端带有拉环可以共两个人使用较一般钢丝锯可以加工更大的物品，适合加工制作工艺品时使用。
