背景技术
60年代，随着电池制造技术的发展，出现了用镍镉电池作电源的无电源线的电池式电动工具。但当时因价格昂贵，发展较慢。到70年代中后期，因电池价格降低，充电时间也缩短，这种电动工具在欧美、日本得到广泛使用。电动工具最初用铸铁作外壳，后改用铝合金作外壳。60年代，热塑性工程塑料在电动工具上获得应用，并实现了电动工具的双重绝缘，保障了电动工具的使用安全性。由于电子技术的发展，60年代还出现了电子调速电动工具。这种电动工具利用晶闸管等元件组成电子线路，以开关揿钮被揿入的深度不同来调节转速，从而使电动工具在使用时能按被加工对象的不同（如材料不同、钻孔直径大小等），选择不同的转速。

作业时，电钻产生的电磁波会对附近的家用电器产生较强的电磁干扰，且噪音扰民，本实用新型提供的电钻，屏蔽了励磁产生的强电磁波，且削弱了噪音。
