背景技术
日常生活中,人们用水壶煮水非常普遍,但在高温煮沸条件下,水中的胶体、细菌和有机物等粘性物质和碳酸盐共同作用,形成了和容器粘附在一起的硬垢(水垢的一种)。硬垢导热性很差,会导致受热面传热情况恶化,从而浪费燃料或电力。再有,硬垢如果胶结于水壶内壁,还会由于热胀冷缩和受力不均,极大的增加水壶爆裂甚至爆炸的危险性。还有硬垢胶结时,也常常会附着大量重金属离子,会有重金属过多溶于饮水的风险。虽然加食用醋等方法能除水垢,但操作比较繁琐麻烦且效果也不明显。
