Abstract

本实用新型公开了一种RJ插头连接器,包括具有基座的插头本体及收容于基座的金属插片,基座具有相对的前、后端面及上、下端面,所述基座于上端面向上向后延伸有与对接插座连接器卡合的卡扣部,所述基座设有贯穿下端面及前端面的插槽,金属插片位于该插槽内,所述RJ插头连接器还设置有光纤模块,该光纤模块的前端面设有突出的透镜,透镜位于基座的前端面。这样,功能上既可保证大容量,高速率数据传输,又可以使信号传输距离更长,给使用带来极大方便性。

【技术领域】
本实用新型涉及一种RJ插头连接器,尤其涉及一种可以同时传输光信号和电信号的RJ插头连接器。 
【背景技术】
插头连接器是电子设备间用于传输信号的重要部分,与本实用新型相关的现有技术可参阅中国台湾专利公告第M240719号专利,通过线缆与对接连接器插座中的金属导体传输电信号,然而,采用这种方式进行数据传输,会遇到一些问题:首先,数据的传输速率受到限制,不能满足大容量、高速数据传输;其次,信号传输距离也受到影响,满足不了现在高速率及远距离传输的要求。 
因此,需要一种可以解决上述问题的RJ插头连接器。 
【实用新型内容】
实用新型的目的在于提供一种能传输光信号的RJ插头连接器。 
本实用新型的目的是通过以下技术方案实现的:一种RJ插头连接器,包括具有基座的插头本体及收容于基座的金属插片,基座具有相对的前、后端面及上、下端面,所述基座于上端面向上向后延伸有与对接插座连接器卡合的卡扣部,所述基座设有贯穿下端面及前端面的插槽,金属插片位于该插槽内,所述RJ插头连接器还设置有光纤模块,该光纤模块的前端面设有突出的透镜,透镜位于基座的前端面。 
与现有技术相比,本实用新型具有以下有益效果:通过在RJ插头连接器上增设光纤模块作为传输介质,功能上既可保证大容量,高速率数据传输,又可以使信号传输距离更长,给使用带来极大方便性。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1至图4所示,本实用新型RJ插头连接器100为在现有模组连接器(即业界所称的RJ连接器)上增加光纤模块5,以将光传输的功能增加。该RJ插头连接器100可以与一个仅传输电信号的对接的RJ插座连接器(未标示)相连接,也可以与一个仅传输光信号的对接的光纤插座连接器(未标示)相连接、并且还可以与一个可同时传输电信号及光信号的对接的RJ插座连接器相连接。所述RJ插头连接器100包括具有基座1的插头本体1a、收容于基座的金属插片2、连接金属插片的若干线缆4及整合入基座的光纤模块5。 
参阅图2及图3所示,所述基座1设有插头嵌入部3,基座1具有相对的前、后端面11、12及上、下端面13、14,前端面11与对接插座连接器(未标示)对接,后端面12向前凹设有收容腔121,插头嵌入部收容于收容腔内。基座1的上端面设置有用于与对接插座连接器(未标示)相卡合的卡扣部131,连接卡扣部131设置有凸伸出基座1前端面11的凸块部132,该凸块部进一步位于基座左右方向的中部,所述卡扣部自基座1上端面向上向后并呈一定角度延伸,凸块部132的设置是为了加强卡扣部131与对接插座连接器之间的结合力。基座前端面凹设有供光纤模块突出的通孔1321,通孔1321贯穿凸块部前端设置,通孔1321与收容腔121相通。通孔1321两侧处对称设有对准孔1322,对准孔1322的设置是为了配合卡扣部131与对接插座连接器在对接导向的同时可以实现可靠的接合。基座1设有贯穿下端面14及前端面11的若干插槽141,所述收容腔与该插槽141相通,若干金属插片2收容于该插槽内。 
参阅图2、图3并结合图4所示,所述插头嵌入部3具有相对的前、后壁面,上、下壁面及左、右壁面,其中插头嵌入部3的后方具有供上述线缆4导入的腔道31,插头嵌入部3的上壁面靠近后方处中空设置,插头嵌入部3的下壁面靠近后方处同样中空设置。不同于上壁面,下壁面两侧靠近插头 嵌入部两侧壁处设置有托部311,所述托部垂直并连接两侧壁,在线缆4导入过程中可供线缆架设,方便线缆组装到插头嵌入部3内。线缆4包括传输电信号的普通线缆41及传输光信号的光纤线缆42,其中插头嵌入部3的前壁面上方处设有贯穿前、后壁面的供普通线缆41穿插的普通线缆固持部32,插头嵌入部3前壁面下方分隔的设置有凸设出插头嵌入部前壁面的抵靠部33,抵靠部33的分隔处形成开槽331,该开槽与普通线缆固持部相通,插头嵌入部插入收容腔后所述开槽131与插槽141相连通。插头嵌入部的左、右壁面对应凸设有与基座卡扣的垂直于上下壁面的凸筋34。 
所述光纤模块5一体凸设于插头嵌入部3上,当然也可以组设于插头嵌入部上。光纤模块位于插头嵌入部的上壁面处并突伸出插头嵌入部的前壁面,所述光纤模块进一步位于上壁面左右方向的中部且对准通孔设置。光纤线缆42插入到光纤模块内的细孔,即光纤线缆固持部51,该细孔的前端恰好对齐位于光纤模块的呈弧状突起的透镜52。本实施例中,光纤模块5一体凸设置于插头嵌入部的上壁面并进一步对准通孔1321设置。 
下面介绍插头嵌入部3与基座1的组装关系。首先线缆4由插头嵌入部3的腔道31导入,普通线缆41插置于普通线缆固持部32内,而光纤线缆42则插置于光纤模块上的光纤线缆固持部51内,然后插头嵌入部3自基座1后端面14插入收容腔121内,光纤模块5对准通孔1321并插入该通孔内,插头嵌入部3的抵靠部33抵靠于收容腔内与基座前端面相对的内壁面上,并通过凸筋34使得插头嵌入部能稳固地卡固于基座1的收容腔内。值得注意的是,本实用新型插头连接器的光纤模块5较抵靠部33相对于插头嵌入部3前壁面要设置靠前,光纤模块5与抵靠部33之间的段差和上述凸块部132与基座1前端面之间的段差设置的相同,这样设置,当插头嵌入部3的抵靠部33抵靠于收容腔内的同时光纤模块5也能穿插于凸块部132上的通孔1321内,而通孔两侧的对准孔1322的设置是为了使得光纤模块在与对接插座连接器对接时候可以实现可靠的接合。这里说明一下,之所以把通孔1321开设在凸块部132上是由于凸块部的厚度较基座的壁面设置要厚,相对于把通孔1321设置在基座前端面的其他部位可以尽量减少开设通孔对基座强度的破坏。当插头嵌入部3组装于基座1内时,由于普通线缆41通过开槽331与插槽141相通, 金属插片插置可插入插口最终抵持于普通线缆上,这里金属插片2前端设置有锋利的尖刺,尖刺的设置是为了组设金属插片时金属插片可轻易刺破普通线缆41的外皮从而实现电性连接。 
综上所述,本实用新型RJ插头连接器100,通过在插头嵌入部3上增设光纤模块5,从而可实现大容量,高速率数据传输,并使信号传输的距离更长,给使用带来极大方便性。 

Claims (10)

1.一种RJ插头连接器,包括具有基座的插头本体及收容于基座的金属插片,基座具有相对的前、后端面及上、下端面,所述基座于上端面向上向后延伸有与对接插座连接器卡合的卡扣部,所述基座设有贯穿下端面及前端面的插槽,金属插片位于该插槽内,其特征在于:所述RJ插头连接器还设置有光纤模块,该光纤模块的前端面设有突出的透镜,透镜位于基座的前端面。
2.如权利要求1所述的RJ插头连接器,其特征在于:所述基座后端面向前凹设有与插槽相通的收容腔,收容腔内收容有插头嵌入部。
3.如权利要求2所述的RJ插头连接器,其特征在于:所述基座前端面凹设有供光纤模块突出的通孔。
4.如权利要求3所述的RJ插头连接器,其特征在于:所述卡扣部连接设置有凸伸出基座前端面的凸块部,该凸块部位于基座左右方向的中部,通孔贯穿凸块部设置。
5.如权利要求4所述的RJ插头连接器,其特征在于:所述光纤模块设置于插头嵌入部上,插头嵌入部还包括线缆固持部。
6.如权利要求5所述的RJ插头连接器,其特征在于:所述插头嵌入部具有相对的上、下壁面、前、后壁面及左右壁面,光纤模块位于上壁面处,并进一步位于上壁面左右方向的中部对准通孔设置。
7.如权利要求6所述的RJ插头连接器,其特征在于:所述插头嵌入部具有插入收容腔后与所述插槽相通的开槽。
8.如权利要求7所述的RJ插头连接器,其特征在于:所述凸块部前端于通孔两侧对称凹设有对准孔。
9.如权利要求8所述的RJ插头连接器,其特征在于:所述插头嵌入部左右壁面对应凸设有与基座卡扣的垂直于上下壁面的凸筋。
10.如权利要求9所述的RJ插头连接器,其特征在于:所述光纤模块突伸出插头嵌入部前壁面,插头嵌入部前壁面下方突伸有分隔形成上述开槽的抵靠部,光纤模块较抵靠部相对前壁面设置靠前。
