开棉机主要是将紧压的原棉松解成较小的棉块或棉束，以利混合、除杂作用的顺利进行。通常用于二维\三维螺丝棉、PP棉、公仔棉、普通中空棉进行均匀开散蓬松,只要一次性开松,适合玩具厂、沙发厂、床上用品厂、家纺制衣厂使用。

一种开棉机，包括有机架，所述机架上转动安装有转轴，所述转轴外设有一护罩，所述转轴上固定安装有多个梭针，所述护罩外壁上一侧开有进料口，所述机架上靠近送料口处安装有送料板，所述送料板向进料口方向倾斜安装。
送料板向进料口倾斜安装，送料快捷且安全，原棉随着重力自动向下滑落入护罩内被转轴上的梭针打理。
