本实用新型的技术方案是，在太阳能热水器靠近水箱的支架上，设置一枚避雷针，通过接地导线将避雷针与接地装置连接在一起。

本实用新型与现有技术比较的有益效果是，在太阳能热水器加上避雷器后，当遇到雷击时，避雷器能将雷击产生的电流通过接地导线引入地下，避免了雷击对太阳能热水器的损害以及通过太阳能热水器对用户的人身损害。

本实用新型实施例如图1和图2所示。本实施例由储水箱(1)、太阳能集热管(2)、避雷针(3)、太阳能热水器支架(4)等组成，避雷针采用螺栓牢固安装在太阳能热水器靠近水箱的金属支架上，避雷针和针尖高度超过储水箱高度1m，避雷针下端连接地导线，避雷器接地按避雷针接地的国家标准执行。
