Abstract

本实用新型电连接器,可表面贴装于电路板上,其包括绝缘本体,绝缘本体设有底面、与该底面相对的顶面,及开设在底面的至少一端子孔,以及组装于该端子孔呈圆柱形的导电端子,该导电端子具有焊接部,焊接部底面具有圆形焊接面,其以焊接面贴装方式与电路板电性连接,其中,端子孔邻近底面处具有第一直径尺寸;该焊接部突伸出绝缘本体的底面,其焊接部的焊接面具有第二直径尺寸,且第二直径尺寸大于第一直径尺寸。

【技术领域】
本实用新型是关于一种电连接器,尤其涉及一种电性连接电路板与对接连接器的电连接器。
【背景技术】
在今天的高速电子设备中,电性连接电路板与对接连接器的电连接器已经得以广泛运用,此类电连接器一般都采用表面粘着(SMT)焊接技术,来适合高精密度的安装。美国专利公告第US7247051号专利公告的一种电连接器,其包括绝缘本体及贯穿于绝缘本体的导电端子,该导电端子大致呈圆柱形,该导电端子包括焊接端和连接端,其焊接端的横截面积小于连接端的横截面积。在实际生产过程中,进行SMT时焊锡料爬锡至导电端子焊接端的面积小,导电端子与电路板的连接力不强,在应用中,由于插拔对接连接器的次数较多,且插拔的应力较大,一旦出现前述问题,就会导致电连接器脱离电路板,使电路不能正常导通。
鉴于此,有必要提供一种电连接器来解决在进行SMT时,因焊锡料爬锡至导电端子焊接端的面积小时,以至导电端子与电路板焊接不牢固,无法承担较大的外界应力,易导致电连接器脱离电路板,使电路不能正常导通的问题。
【实用新型内容】
因此,本实用新型要解决的技术问题是在进行SMT时,因焊锡料爬锡至导电端子焊接端的面积小时,以至导电端子与电路板焊接不牢固,无法承担较大的外界应力,易导致电连接器脱离电路板,使电路不能正常导通的问题。
本实用新型电连接器,可表面贴装于电路板上,其包括绝缘本体,绝缘本体设有底面、与该底面相对的顶面,及开设在底面的至少一端子孔,以及组装于该端子孔呈圆柱形的导电端子,该导电端子具有焊接部,焊接部底面具有圆形焊接面,其以焊接面贴装方式与电路板电性连接,其中,端子孔邻近底面处具有第一直径尺寸;该焊接部突伸出绝缘本体的底面,其焊接部的焊接面具有第二直径尺寸,且第二直径尺寸大于第一直径尺寸。
与现有技术相比,本实用新型电连接器导电端子的焊接部的直径大,在SMT过程中,焊锡料爬升至焊接部上的面积增大,加大了焊锡料与导电端子的接触面积;同时,因焊接部上的设有焊锡槽,可增强焊过程中的透气性,避免出现虚焊、焊锡点出现气泡的现象,有效的解决了在进行SMT时,因焊锡料爬锡至导电端子焊接端的面积小时,以至导电端子与电路板焊接不牢固,无法承担较大的外界应力,易导致电连接器脱离电路板,使电路不能正常导通的问题。

【具体实施方式】
请参照图1到图3所示,本实用新型电连接器100,其包括绝缘本体1及若干定位在绝缘本体1上的导电端子2。
绝缘本体1包括安装至印刷电路板(未图式)的底面11、与底面11相对的顶面10及规律排布有若干贯穿的端子孔12,导电端子2的焊接部22的直径大于端子孔12的直径,导电端子2固持于该绝缘本体1的端子孔12内。
如图4所示,导电端子2包括延伸出底面11的焊接部22、固定于绝缘本体1内的固持部21、伸出顶面10的对接部20,导电端子2的固持部21和焊接部22均呈圆柱状,且焊接部22的直径大于固持部21的直径。其中,焊接部22包括焊接本体221、与印刷电路板接触的焊接面222,焊接面222与焊接本体221连接处设为倒角223,焊接部22上还设有具有透气功效和容焊锡料的焊锡槽225,焊锡槽225由焊接面222向远离焊接面222的方向延伸一段距离;导电端子2的固持部21上压扁一干涉凸肋211与绝缘本体1的端子孔12干涉配合。
此类导电端子2大致与杯头螺丝相似,可以使其在SMT过程中共面度得以提高。其焊接部22大,在SMT过程中,焊接部22与电路板的接触面积增大,焊锡料爬升至导电端子2的面积增加,增强了导电端子2与电路板的连接力,保证了承担外界应力的强度。
同时,对此类焊接面22的面积较大的导电端子2而言,在SMT过程中,解决透气的问题是最首要的,所以,在设置导电端子2的焊接部22时,于其上开设焊锡槽225,既解决了透气的问题,还可以减小焊接面222所在的水平面的面积;同时,对此类要解决因较大的外界应力而影响导电端子2与印刷电路板之间的配合关系的问题也是必不可少的,所以,在设置导电端子2的焊接部22时,于其上开设焊锡槽225,用以焊锡料爬升至焊锡槽225,增加了焊锡料爬锡至导电端子2焊接端22的面积,达到了加强焊接力的效果。
再者,实际应用中,由于经常会对绝缘本体1产生一些较大的应力,导致导电端子2于绝缘本体1脱离的状况发生,所以,在导电端子2与绝缘本体1上设计特殊的结构,使其在组装配合后能够防止导电端子2与绝缘本体1脱离的状况发生,若在导电端子2上设置一凹槽,在绝缘本体1与凹槽相对的位置上设置一凸块,理想情况下能够到达防止脱离的目的,而实际上,在组装时,导电端子2会硬干涉绝缘本体上1的凸块,致使凸块断裂而无法实现目的;若在导电端子2的固持部21上压扁一干涉凸肋211与绝缘本体1的端子孔12干涉配合,在组装时,导电端子2与绝缘本体1刺穿配合,可以实现防止导电端子2与绝缘本体1脱离的状况发生。

Claims (10)

1.一种电连接器,可表面贴装于电路板上,其包括绝缘本体,绝缘本体设有底面、与该底面相对的顶面,及开设在底面的至少一端子孔,以及组装于该端子孔呈圆柱形的导电端子,该导电端子具有焊接部,焊接部底面具有圆形焊接面,其以焊接面贴装方式与电路板电性连接,其特征在于:端子孔邻近底面处具有第一直径尺寸;该焊接部突伸出绝缘本体的底面,其焊接部底面具有第二直径尺寸,且第二直径尺寸大于第一直径尺寸。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述导电端子设有组装于端子孔内呈圆柱形的固持部和突伸出所述绝缘本体底面的呈圆柱形的焊接部,该固持部的直径小于焊接部的直径。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述圆柱形固持部上开设有与端子槽内壁固持的凸肋。
4.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述端子孔贯穿于绝缘本体。
5.如权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述导电端子的凸肋与端子孔干涉配合。
6.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述焊接部包括焊接本体,所述焊接面与焊接本体临界处设为倒角。
7.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述焊接部的焊接面周边处开设有焊锡槽。
8.如权利要求7所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述焊锡槽由所述焊接面向远离焊接面的方向延伸一段距离。
9.如权利要求8所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述焊接部的焊接面周边均等分布四个焊锡槽。
10.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述导电端子还包括由该连接部延伸出所述绝缘本体的顶面的对接部。
