风力发电机组的主轴、增速齿轮箱、主轴轴承座等部件都承装在机舱座上。风力发电机组体积和重量都较大,一般都有几十吨重。现有的风力发电机组机舱座其宽度较小,即机舱座用于承装风力发电机组各部件的面积较小,因此风力发电机安装在机舱座后,整体高度较高。风力发电机组体积和重量都较大,一般都有几十吨重。高度太高不方便运输,特别是经过桥梁隧道时,容易发生刮擦碰撞。
