Description

System and method for realizing mobile positioning
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of mobile communications, and more particularly, to a system and method for providing mobile positioning in a mobile communication system.
Background
With the development of mobile communication technology, more and more value-added applications have appeared, for example, mobile positioning technology can be applied to article monitoring. For example, the Mobile Positioning System (MPS) in ericsson can know the position of the monitored object in real time by using a network polling Positioning method.
However, the existing network conditions are complex, including: multi-layer cross-cell coverage, ongoing network optimization engineering, cell coverage and cell instability, unpredictable emergency coverage, signal reflection errors of tall buildings and other objects, current network MPS and cell parameter conditions, etc., may cause uncertainty in the location information returned by a single positioning.
The present network MPS adopts CGI/TA positioning technology, and the returned result includes 6 parameters: inner and outer diameters, center point longitude and latitude, start angle and end angle. The result is a region.
The current network MPS system relies on cell data for position information calculation, and the accuracy of the cell parameters directly determines to a large extent the accuracy of the MPS system itself. The parameters of primary influence include cell longitude (latitude), cell latitude (longitude), antenna Type (antenna _ Type), antenna azimuth (sector _ angle), and maximum cell radius (max _ cell _ radius). Due to the possibility of inaccuracy of cell data and the influence of uncertain factors such as signal reflection on the calculation result of the MPS system, when a certain mobile terminal is in a stationary state, a plurality of different return ranges may occur in positioning operations at different times. The possible situations between any two return ranges include the following: case 1: the two areas are overlapped; case 2: the two regions do not coincide, but there is an overlapping region; case 3: the two regions do not coincide and there is no overlapping region. In the prior art, when the condition 3 occurs, the position of the monitored object is considered to be moved, but the actual condition is probably caused by the unpredictability of the current network condition, so the reliability and the accuracy of the prior art are low, and false alarm can be caused.

Fig. 5 is a flow chart of a method for implementing mobile positioning according to the present invention; we hope that patent specifications will try to write the scope of protection as broad as possible, avoiding plagiarism by our commercial competitors. Thanks!
Step S500: the signing user needs to go to the business system of the business hall to apply for transacting the article anti-theft tracking service, obtain a controlled terminal, and bind the controlled terminal with the positioning function with the existing mobile phone number. When signing a contract, a user clearly defines the purpose of the controlled terminal, such as automobile anti-theft, the user must indicate the license plate number, and inputs the automobile model which is taken care of by the controlled terminal into the controlled terminal anti-theft monitoring system.
Step S510: when the user needs to perform the positioning service, the controlled terminal can be started. For example, after a user who opens a controlled terminal service stops an automobile in a public parking lot, if the automobile is worried about being stolen, the controlled terminal can be placed in a hidden place in the automobile after the power supply is turned on;
step S520: and starts the location service, for example, dialing the controlled terminal hotline before the person leaves the car, applying for car watching service:
"you are your smart dog, and after you leave the baby, I are happy to serve you: according to 1, the baby takes care of the request; pressing 2, canceling the watching; according to 3, inquiring the position of the baby; alert specialist service per 4,110. "
Or sending a short message to a specified special service number to start monitoring;
the monitoring platform server receives the request of locking the tracker after inquiring that the user has the article anti-theft tracking service, sends a short message to the user through the short message application server to confirm that the controlled terminal starts the watching service, and simultaneously displays the current geographic position.
Step S530: after the user leaves the vehicle, the monitoring platform server can automatically monitor the position of the controlled terminal through the MPS platform and the mobile communication network;
step S540: judging whether the controlled terminal moves; if the judgment result is yes, go to step S550; otherwise, go to step S530 to continue monitoring;
step S550: the short message application server automatically sends the position information (or the alarm information) of the controlled terminal to the mobile phone user in a short message form (or connects the user telephone for notification), so as to timely notify the vehicle owner to report. Before a user does not find a car, the controlled terminal sends a short message at a certain time interval (such as 4 minutes) to remind the user of the geographical position of the car, the user needs to dial a hotline immediately after seeing the information to alarm, and a public security department can effectively improve the solution solving efficiency by tracking the tracker on a tracking system of the controlled terminal.
Step S560: if the user returns to the automobile, the user should dial the hot line or send the short message to cancel the positioning service, otherwise, the user can continuously receive the information of the position movement of the controlled terminal.
In order to facilitate a user to inquire the safety condition or the geographical position of a vehicle at any time, the user binding the controlled terminal can dial a hotline to automatically inquire the telephone number at any time according to the requirement, and after the system inquires whether the user has the article anti-theft tracking service, the system automatically searches the position of the tracker bound by the user on the network and sends the inquiry result to the mobile phone of the user in a short message form.
The controlled terminal can also be used for the delivery tracking of important goods, the supervision of old people and children and other services.
In the present invention, in step S530, in order to ensure the accuracy of the alarm information, a multiple cross coverage comparison technique ("range identification algorithm") of location information is used to avoid false alarm that may occur when cell switching occurs.
The range identification algorithm is used for finding out the state transition of the mobile terminal from static state to motion state by comparing position information returned by the round-robin monitoring at different moments in the process of changing the mobile terminal from the static state to the mobile state under the monitoring of the round-robin mode.
This alignment contains two implications: the method includes discovering and confirming a stationary state of the mobile terminal and discovering and confirming a moving state of the mobile terminal.
The algorithm is built based on the concept of background filtering algorithm, MPS system principle, MPS return region, as shown in fig. 6, which is a flow diagram of the algorithm.
The following are first described for the key terms involved:
background area: a basic credible area serving as a comparison standard, wherein the range in the area is regarded as staying in place;
background intensity: the credibility of the background area is an integer with the value being > -0, and the credibility is higher when the value is larger;
the credible area: a more reliable overlap region within the background region;
overlapping: means that there are intersecting portions of the two regions, but there is no case where there is complete coincidence or where one region completely contains the other;
superposing: meaning that the coverage of both areas is completely identical, or that one of them contains the other.
From the summary derived from practical tests, the fixed-location terminal in the fixed mobile network is always cross-covered by one or several specific cells, so that according to the MPS mobile location principle, the location result is also composed of one or several specific ranges. These one or several specific areas are confident backgrounds, assuming that the mobile network situation is fixed, and mobile situations can be confident as soon as other situations that do not fit the background occur.
However, the actual mobile network is not fixed, the parameters such as cell signal strength, direction angle, etc. are changed frequently, and new cells are increased continuously, so that the confident background in the ideal situation is difficult to obtain. In order to approximate the confident background as much as possible and at the same time make efficient use of system resources, the algorithm adds consideration to the background intensity. Under the condition that whether the mobile terminal moves is difficult to clearly judge, the background intensity marks the credibility of the judgment, when the credibility of the judgment is higher than the application acceptable degree, the judgment can be adopted, otherwise, data are continuously collected to enhance the credibility of the judgment, which is an important role of the background intensity in a background filtering algorithm with uncertain background.
Therefore, when it is determined that the new area does not completely conform to the background area, it is not possible to completely determine whether the location movement occurs according to the estimation and summary of the abnormal situation that may occur in the actual wireless network, and at this time, the background intensity determination is performed, that is, it is determined whether the background is authentic, to what degree the background is authentic.
In this method, first, an initial background is to be established:
after the monitoring platform starts monitoring, continuously positioning for 5 times (every 30S), wherein the interval time and the positioning times can be adjusted according to the actual condition of the network; the general procedure for each positioning is as follows: the MPS platform, upon receiving the location request from the monitoring platform server, inquires of the mobile network HLR which MSC the controlled terminal is located through the SS7, and then inquires of the MSC which cell the controlled terminal is located in, and the MSC and the BSC return the cell number where the controlled terminal is located to the MPS platform and simultaneously provide an advance Time Amount (TA) value. The MPS platform converts the cell number into longitude and latitude, and calculates the final position area according to the positioning result for 5 times. Taking the calculated position area as an initial background;
4 overlapped areas generated by sequentially overlapping the 5 areas are used as initial credible areas;
the monitoring platform then requests from the MPS platform at intervals to locate the controlled terminal. And comparing the area result fed back by MPS with the previous initial background and initial credible area, strengthening the background for many times according to the comparison result, and generating an alarm when the noise is finally found. The principle and subsequent actions of comparing the region result fed back here with the initial background and the initial confidence region can be seen in fig. 7 and the following table.
Wherein the RULE group RULE X RULE is represented by R X, the RULE X supplemental group RULE X supplemental X RULE is represented by RX chase X, and the RULE X secondary supplemental group RULE X secondary supplemental X RULE is represented by R X chase X.

D. if the judgment result is that the controlled terminal is moved, the monitoring platform informs the associated terminal of alarm information;
the step B further comprises the following steps:
b1, after receiving the request from the associated terminal, the monitoring platform continuously positions the controlled terminal for a predetermined number of times;
b2, the monitoring platform calculates the position information obtained by the preset times of positioning to obtain the final position area as the initial background; and using the overlapping area generated by the sequential overlapping of the position areas obtained by the positioning for the preset times as an initial credible area.
5. The method for implementing mobile positioning as claimed in claim 4, wherein said step B1 further comprises:
the monitoring platform positions the controlled terminal through a mobile positioning platform;
the mobile network where the controlled terminal is located returns the cell number and the advance time value where the controlled terminal is located;
and the mobile positioning platform acquires the position information of the controlled terminal according to the cell number and the advance time value.
6. The method for implementing mobile positioning according to claim 5, wherein the step C specifically comprises:
the monitoring platform requests the mobile positioning platform to position the controlled terminal at preset time intervals;
comparing the position information fed back by the mobile positioning platform with the initial background and the initial credible area, and gradually increasing the background intensity according to a comparison principle;
and when the background intensity exceeds a fixed value and the fed back position information is not overlapped with the initial background and the initial credible area, judging that the controlled terminal has moved.
