Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及一种等离子体显示装置及其驱动方法。
背景技术
等离子体显示装置是利用由气体放电过程产生的等离子体显示字符或者图像的平板显示器。它包括多个以矩阵形式排列的放电单元。
在等离子体显示装置的面板上,场(例如1电视场)被分为多个子场,多个子场分别具有一定的权重。灰度级由子场之间的权重的组合来表示,灰度级用于执行显示操作。各子场具有寻址周期,其中执行用于在多个放电单元中选择发光的放电单元和不发光的放电单元的寻址操作。各子场还包括维持周期,其中维持放电发生在所选择的放电单元中用于在对应于该子场的权重的周期中执行显示操作。
这种等离子体显示装置利用分别具有不同权重的子场来表示各自的灰度级。灰度级由多个子场中发光的放电单元的子场的权重值的总和来表示。例如,当子场分别具有2的幂的格式的权重值时,且127灰度级和128灰度级分别表示一个放电单元的两个连续的帧动态错误的轮廓线可能发生。
当寻址周期和维持周期关于时间被分开时,由于除了维持放电的维持周期之外,寻址所有放电单元的寻址周期在各自的子场中形成,一个子场的长度可能增加。由于子场的长度被增加,因此一个子场中所用的子场数目是有限的。
发明内容
本发明已经致力于提供一种等离子体显示装置及其驱动方法,该等离子体显示装置用于减少错误的轮廓以及子场的长度。
本发明的这些和其它目的可以通过提供一种通过一个场划分的多个子场驱动等离子体显示装置的方法而获得,该等离子体显示装置包括多个行电极,多个列电极,由多个行电极和多个列电极分别定义的多个放电单元,该方法包括:将多个行电极分为第一行电极组和第二行电极组,将第一行电极组分为多个第一子组,将第二行电极组分为多个第二子组;在多个子场中选择的第一子场组的各个第一子场中,当从多个第一子组中选出的一个第一子组的发光单元中选择不发光单元时,在分别对应于至少一个第二子组的第一周期期间,维持放电从多个第二子组中选择的至少一个第二子组的发光单元;在各个第一子场中,当从多个第二子组中选出的一个第二子组的发光单元中选择不发光单元时,在分别对应于至少一个第一子组的第二周期期间,维持放电从多个第一子组中选择的至少一个第一子组的发光单元;至少一个第二子组的发光单元的维持放电还包括至少施加一次分别具有反相的高电平电压和低电平电压的第一维持脉冲和第二维持脉冲到至少一个第二子组的发光单元的第一电极和第二电极;且当或者将高电平电压或者将低电平电压施加于第一和第二电极时,从一个第一子组的发光单元之中选择不发光单元还包括将第一寻址脉冲提供给一个子组的第三电极。
在至少一个周期期间优选不施加第一寻址脉冲,该周期或者选自于第一维持脉冲和第二维持脉冲从低电平电压增加到高电平电压的周期,或者选自于第一维持脉冲和第二维持脉冲从高电平电压减小到低电平电压的周期。
在从第一子场组中选择的至少一个第一子场中,多个第二子组的发光单元优选在第一周期期间被维持放电,且多个第一子组的发光单元优选在第二周期期间被维持放电。
在第一子场组中选择的至少一个第一子场中,第一周期优选对应于从该一个第一子组的发光单元之中选择不发光单元的周期。
在第一子场组中选择的至少一个第一子场中,除第一周期之外,在一个第一子组的发光单元之中选择不发光单元的周期期间,至少一个第二子组的发光单元优选不被维持放电,且除第二周期之外,在一个第二子组的发光单元之中选择不发光单元的周期期间,至少一个第一子组的发光单元优选不被维持放电。
在第一子场组的至少一个第一子场中,除了从多个第二子组中选择的至少一个第二子组之外的第二子组在从一个第一子组的发光单元中选择不发光单元的周期中优选不被维持放电。
第一子场组的各个第一子场优选分别具有相同的权重值。
可替换地,从第一子场组之中选择的部分第一子场优选分别具有相同的权重值,其余的第一子场优选分别具有一个权重值,该权重值低于该部分第一子场的权重值。
第一行电极组优选包括提供在等离子体显示装置上部上并从多个第一电极中选择的第一电极,且第二行电极组优选包括提供在等离子体显示装置的下部上并从多个第一电极中选择的第一电极。

在多个第一子场之前提供的第二子场中,驱动器优选用于从第一组的放电单元中选择发光单元,用于维持放电第一组的发光单元,从第二组的放电单元中选择发光单元,并维持放电第二组的发光单元。
在第二子场中选择发光单元之前,驱动器优选用于将多个放电单元设置为不发光单元状态。
第二周期比第一周期短,且第四周期比第三周期短。可替换地,第二周期优选等于第一周期,且第四周期等于第三周期。

此外,下面说明中提到的壁电荷是形成并累积在放电单元电极附近的壁(例如介电层)上的电荷。尽管壁电荷并不实际接触电极,但是壁电荷被描述为“形成”或“累积”在电极上。此外,壁电压是壁电荷形成在放电单元的壁上的电势差。

如图1所示,根据本发明的示例性实施例的等离子体显示装置包括等离子体显示板(PDP)100、控制器200、寻址电极驱动器300、扫描电极驱动器400以及维持电极驱动器500。
PDP 100包括沿列方向延伸的多个寻址电极A1至Am,沿行方向延伸的成对的多个维持电极X1至Xn和多个扫描电极Y1至Yn。通常,X电极的X1至Xn分别对应于Y电极的Y1至Yn,且显示操作受到维持周期期间X和Y电极的影响,Y和X电极Y1至Yn和X1至Xn垂直于A电极A1至Am排列。形成在寻址电极A1至Am与维持和扫描电极X1至Xn以及Y1至Yn交叉的区域的放电空间形成放电单元12。图1的PDP 100的结构是一种示例性结构,且其它示例性结构也可应用于本发明。成对沿行方向延伸的X和Y电极在下文中将称为行电极,沿列方向延伸的A电极在下文将称为列电极。
控制器200接收外部视频信号并输出A电极驱动控制信号、X电极驱动控制信号和Y电极驱动控制信号。此外,控制器200将帧分为分别具有亮度权重值的多个子场,并驱动它们。此外,控制器200输出控制信号,从而多个行电极被分为第一行电极组和第二行电极组,且第一和第二行电极组能分别分为多个子组。
寻址驱动器300从控制器200接收A电极驱动控制信号,并将显示数据信号提供给各A电极以选择要显示的放电单元。
扫描电极驱动器400从控制器200接收Y电极驱动控制信号并将驱动电压提供给Y电极。
维持电极驱动器500从控制器200接收X电极驱动控制信号并将驱动电压提供给X电极。
下面将参考图2描述根据本发明示例性实施例驱动等离子体显示装置的方法。
图2是根据本发明示例性实施例应用于等离子体显示装置的驱动方法的电极划分配置的图表。
如图2所示,多个行电极X1至Xn以及Y1至Yn被分为两个行电极组G1和G2。第一行电极组G1包括提供在PDP 100上部上的多个行电极X1至Xn/2以及Y1至Yn/2,第二行电极组包括提供在PDP 100下部上的多个行电极X(n/2)+1至Xn以及Y(n/2)+1至Yn。此外,各第一和第二行电极组G1和G2之中的多个Y电极被分成多个子组G11至G18以及G21至G28。在图2中,各个第一和第二行电极组G1和G2被分为八个子组G11至G18和G21至G28。
此外,在第一行电极组G1之中,第一至第j Y电极Y1至Yj被设置为第一子组G11,第j+1至第2j Y电极Yj+1至Y2j被设置为第二子组G12。如上所述,第八子组G8包括第(7j+1)至第(n/2)Y电极Y7j+1至Yn/2(这里,j是1至n/16之间的整数)。在以第一行电极组G1相同的方式下,在第二行电极组G2之中,第(8j+1)至第9j Y电极Y8j+1至Y9j被设置为第一子组G21,第(9j+1)至第10j Y电极Y9j+1至Y10j被设置为第二子组G22。因此,第八子组G28包括第(15j+1)至第n Y电极Y15j+1至Yn。与上述不同,在第一和第二行电极组G1和G2之中,相互分开预定间隔的Y电极能形成一子组,且如果必要的话,Y电极能被不规则地分组。
图3是表示根据本发明第一示例性实施例的等离子体显示装置的驱动方法的视图。在本发明的第一示例性实施例中,假定寻址周期和维持周期的长度相同,且在所有子场中寻址周期具有相同的长度。
如图3所示,一个场包括多个子场SF1至SFL。第一至第L子场SF1至SFL分别包括寻址周期EA111至EAL18和EA121至EAL28以及维持周期S111至SL18和S121至SL28,且第一至第L子场SF1至SFL的寻址周期EA111至EAL18形成在选择性擦除寻址方法中。如参考图2所述的,多个行电极X1至Xn和Y1至Yn被分成第一和第二行电极组G1和G2,且第一和第二行电极组G1和G2分别分为多个子组G11至G18和G21至G28。
选择性写方法和选择性擦除方法能用于在多个放电单元之中选择用于发光的放电单元(下文称为“发光单元”)和不发光的放电单元(下文称为“不发光单元”)。在选择性写方法中,选择发光单元并形成预定的壁电压,且在选择性擦除方法中,选择不发光单元并擦除先前形成的壁电压。也就是,在选择性写方法中,通过寻址放电在非写发光单元状态中的单元,非写发光单元状态中的单元被设置为处于发光单元状态并形成壁电荷,且在选择性擦除方法中,通过寻址放电发光单元状态中的单元,发光单元状态中的单元被设置为处于不发光单元状态并擦除壁电荷。在下文中,选择性写方法中形成壁电荷的寻址放电将被称为“写放电”,在选择性擦除方法中擦除壁电荷的寻址放电将被称为“擦除放电”。
回过头来参考图3,在选择性擦除方法中,恰好在具有寻址周期EA111至EAL18和EA121至EAL28的第一至第L子场SF1至SFL之中的第一子场SF1的寻址周期EA111之前提供通过初始化所有放电单元将所有放电单元设置处于发光单元状态的复位周期R。在复位周期R期间,所有的放电单元被初始化为处于发光单元状态,从而放电单元在寻址周期EA1期间能被擦除放电。
随后,在第一子场SF1中顺序执行第一和第二行电极组G1和G2的第一至第八子组G11至G18和G21至G28的寻址周期EA111至EAL18和EA121至EAL28和维持周期S111至SL18和S121至SL28的操作。在这种情况下,在第一行电极组G1各子场SF1至SFL中从第一子组G11至第八子组G18顺序执行寻址周期EA111至EAL18和维持周期S111至SL18的操作,在第二行电极组G2各子场SF1至SFL中从第八子组G28至第一子组G21顺序执行寻址周期EA128至EAL21和维持周期S128至SL21的操作。也就是,在第一行电极组G1的第k子场SFk中,执行第i子组G1i的寻址周期EAk1i的操作之后,执行第i子组的维持周期Sk1i的操作(这里,k是1和L之间的整数,i是1和8之间的整数)。随后,执行第(i+1)子组G1(i+1)的寻址周期EAk1(i+1)和维持周期Sk1(i+1)的操作。在第二行电极组G2的第k子场SFk中,执行第(i+1)子组G2(i+1)的寻址周期EAk2i的操作,然后执行第(i+1)子组G2(i+1)的维持周期Sk2(i+1)的操作。随后,执行第i子组G2i的寻址周期EAk2i和维持周期Sk2i的操作。
当在第k子场SFk中执行第一行电极组G1的第i子组G1i的维持周期Sk1i的操作时,执行第二行电极组G2的第(8-(i-1))子组G2(8-(i-1))的寻址周期EAk2(8-(i-1))的操作。以同样的方式,当在第k子场SFk中执行第二行电极组G2的第(8-(i-1))子组G2(8-(i-1))的维持周期Sk2(8-(i-1))的操作时,在第一行电极组G1中执行第(i+1)子组G1(i+1)的寻址周期EAk1(i+1)的操作。
然而,如图3所示,当在第k个子场中执行第二行电极组G2的第一子组G21的维持周期Sk21的操作时,在第一行电极组G1中执行第一子组G11的第(k+1)子场的寻址周期EA(k+1)11的操作。
虽然已经说明在图3中的第二行电极组G2中从第八子组G28至第一子组G21顺序执行寻址周期EA128至EAL21和维持周期S128至SL21的操作,但可以以与第一行电极组G1相同的方式,在第二行电极组G2中从第一子组G21至第八子组G28顺序执行寻址周期EA121至EAL28和维持周期S121至SL28的操作。此外,可以以不同于图3所示的顺序在第一和第二行电极组G1和G2中执行寻址和维持周期的操作。
现在将描述第一行电极组G1的各个子场SF1至SFL。各个子场SF1至SFL中的寻址周期和维持周期的操作基本上是相同的,因此将描述第k子场SFk的操作(这里,k是1和L之间的整数)。
在第k子场SFk中,在寻址周期EAk11期间第一行电极组G1的第一子组G11的发光单元之中被设置为不发光单元状态的放电单元被擦除放电且其壁电荷被擦除,且第一子组G11的其余的发光单元在维持周期Sk11期间被维持放电。随后,在寻址周期EAk12期间第二子组G12的发光单元之中被设置为不发光单元状态的放电单元被擦除放电且其壁电荷被擦除,且第二子组G12的其余的发光单元在维持周期Sk12期间被维持放电。在这种情况下,在第一子组G11的发光单元上产生维持放电。
以类似的方式,对于其余的子组G13至G18执行寻址周期EAk13至EAk18和维持周期Sk13至Sk18的操作。在这种情况下,在维持周期Sk1i期间,在第i子组G1i的发光单元和第一至第(i-1)子组G11至G1(i-1)以及第(i+1)至第八子组G1(i+1)至G18的发光单元上产生维持放电。第一至第(i-1)子组G11至G1(i-1)的发光单元在第k子场SFk的各寻址周期EAk11至EAk1(i-1)期间没有被擦除放电,且第(i+1)至第八子组G1(i+1)至G18的发光单元在第k-1子场SF(k-1)的各寻址周期EA(k-1)1(i+1)至EA(k-1)18期间没有被擦除放电。此外,第i子组G1i的发光单元在第(k+1)子场SF(k+1)中第i子组G1i的寻址周期EA31i之前(也就是直到维持周期Sk(i-1))被维持放电。也就是,在第i子组G1i的发光单元中的八个维持周期期间产生维持放电。
如所述的,对于子场SF1至SFL的各个子组G11至G18执行寻址周期EA211至EA218,...,以及EAL11至EAL18和维持周期S211至S218,...以及SL11至SL18的操作。因此,在复位周期R期间被设置为发光单元状态的放电单元在它们在各自的子场SF1-SFL中被擦除放电之前连续地被维持放电,因此它们被设置为处于不发光单元状态,且从相应的子场所述放电单元不被维持放电,在相应的子场中放电单元被擦除放电且被设置为处于不发光单元状态。在这种情况下,各个子场SF1至SFL的权重值对应于各个子场SF1至SFL的八个维持周期的长度的总和。
对于在最后子场SFL的第一行电极组G1的第二至第八子组G12至G18的每一个可以额外地执行一至七次维持周期SA112至SA118的操作,从而使各个子组G11至G18中维持放电的数目相等。
因此,可以将额外的维持周期SA12至SA18分别提供给最后子场SFL中的第二至第八子组G12至G18。为了防止行电极组维持放电,在该行电极组上在额外的维持周期SA12至SA18期间执行八次维持周期的操作,在各个子组G12至G18的额外的维持周期SA12至SA18之前提供用于擦除在前一子组G11-G17中形成的壁电荷的擦除周期ER11至ER17。
此外,可以在第八个子组G18的额外的维持周期SA18之后提供用于擦除第八子组G18的壁电荷的擦除周期ER18。由于在随后场的第一子场SF1中执行复位周期R的操作,因此可能不提供第八子组G18的擦除周期ER18。而且,以和寻址周期相同的方式,对于各个子组的各个行电极可以顺序执行擦除周期ER11至ER18的操作,且该操作可以对于各个行电极组的所有行电极被同时执行。
更详细地,在最后子场SFL中执行第一行电极组G1的第八子组G18的维持周期SL18的操作,然后形成在第一子组G11的所有放电单元中的壁电荷在擦除周期ER11期间被擦除。随后,在额外的维持周期SA12期间维持放电第二至第八子组G12至G18的发光单元。这一点之后,形成在第二子组G12的所有放电单元中的壁电荷在擦除周期ER12期间被擦除,然后在额外的维持周期SA13期间维持放电第三至第八子组G13至G18的发光单元。上述过程被连续地执行至额外的维持周期SA18。因此,在各个子组G11至G18的发光单元中产生的维持放电的数目是相同的。
第二行电极组G2的各个子场SF1至SFL的结构与第一行电极组G1的各个子场SF1至SFL的结构是相同的。然而,如上所述,在第二行电极组G2的各个子场SF1至SFL中从第八子组G28至第一子组G21顺序执行寻址周期EA128至EA121,...以及EAL28至EAL21的操作,以及在第二行电极组G2的最后子场SFL中从第八子组G28至第一子组G21顺序执行擦除周期ER21至ER128的操作。
图4是表示用来描述图3的驱动方法的子场的图表。在图4中一个子场包括19个子场SF1至SF19。如图4所示,形成一个场的多个子场SF1至SF19在各个子组G11至G18和G28至G21中偏移预定的间隔。在这种情况下,预定的间隔对应于一个子组G1i或G2i的一个寻址周期EAi1i或EAk2i以及一个子组G1i或G2i的一个维持周期Ski1i或Sk2i的长度。当假定一个子组G1i或G2i的一个维持周期Si1i或G2i的长度以及对于一个子组G1i或G2i的一个寻址周期EAk1i或EAk2i的长度相同,第二行电极组G2的各个子场SF1至SF19的起始点从第一行电极组G1的各个子场SF1至SF19的起始点偏移寻址周期EAk1i或EAk2i的长度。
因此,在第一行电极组G1的寻址周期期间对于第二行电极组G2可以执行维持周期的操作,且在第二行电极组G2的寻址周期期间对于第一行电极组G1可以执行维持周期的操作。也就是,由于在寻址周期期间而没有划分寻址周期和维持周期的情况下可以执行维持周期的操作,因此可以减小一个子场的长度。
下面将参考图5描述根据本发明第一示例性实施例的等离子体显示装置的方法的驱动波形。
图5是图3的等离子体显示装置的驱动方法的驱动波形图。为了更好的理解并简化描述,在图5中,示出了一个子场SFk中第一行电极组G1的第一和第二子组G11和G12以及第二行电极组G2的第七和第八子组G27和G28,而施加于A电极的驱动波形的描述被省略。
如图5所示,在第一行电极组G1中的第k子场SFk的寻址周期EAk11期间,当参考电压(图5中0V电压)被施加于第一行电极组G1的X电极时,VscL电压的扫描脉冲顺序地施加于第一子组G11的多个Y电极。在该情况下,具有正电压的寻址脉冲(未示出)被施加于从由施加扫描脉冲的Y电极形成的发光单元之中被选择为不发光单元的单元的A电极。高于VscL电压的VscH电压施加于未施加扫描电压的Y电极,且参考电压被施加于施加了寻址脉冲的A电极。然后,在施加扫描脉冲的VscL电压和寻址脉冲的正电压的发光单元中产生擦除放电,形成在X和Y电极中的壁电荷被擦除,且其单元被设置处于不发光单元状态。
如图5所示,维持脉冲具有高电平电压(图5中的Vs电压)和低电平电压(图5中的0V电压),反相的维持脉冲在维持周期Sk11期间分别施加于第一行电极组G1的多个X电极和第一至第八子组G11至G18的Y电极,且第一子组G11的发光单元被维持放电。也就是,当Vs电压施加于X电极时0V电压施加于Y电极,当0V电压施加于X电极时Vs电压施加于Y电极。在这种情况下,在前一子场SF(k-1)中处于发光单元状态的单元之中,在寻址周期EAk11期间不产生擦除放电的单元处于发光单元状态,且处于发光单元状态的单元被维持放电。
随后,在第二子组G12的寻址周期EAk12期间,当参考电压施加于第一行电极组G1的X电极时,VscL的扫描脉冲顺序地施加于第二子组G12的多个Y电极,且具有正电压的寻址脉冲(未示出)施加于从由施加扫描脉冲的Y电极形成的发光单元之中被选择为不发光单元的单元的A电极。
在维持周期Sk12期间,反相的维持脉冲施加于第一行电极组G1的多个X电极和第一至第八子组G11至G18的Y电极,且发光单元被维持放电。以同样的方式,对于其余的子组G13至G14执行寻址周期EAk13至EAk18和维持周期Sk13至Sk18的操作。
随后,当在第一行电极组G1中执行第k子场SFk的第一子组G11的维持周期Sk11的操作时,在第二行电极组G2中执行第k子场SFk的第八子组G28的寻址周期EAk28的操作。当在第二行电极组G2的第k子组SFk的寻址周期EAk28期间将参考电压施加于X电极时,VscL的扫描脉冲顺序地施加于第八子组G28的多个Y电极,且具有正电压的寻址脉冲(未示出)施加于该电极从由施加扫描脉冲的Y电极形成的发光单元之中被选择为不发光单元的A电极。
然后,在扫描周期Sk28期间,反相的维持脉冲被施加于第二行电极组G2的多个X电极和第一至第八子组G21至G28的Y电极,且发光单元被维持放电。此外,当执行第二行电极组G2的第k子场SFk的维持周期Sk28的操作时,在第一行电极组G1中执行第k子场SFk的第二子组G12的寻址周期EAk12的操作。以相同的方式,对于剩余的子组G27至G21执行寻址周期EAk27至EAk21和维持周期Sk27至Sk21的操作。
图6是根据本发明第一示例性实施例的图3的驱动方法中表示灰度级的方法的视图。在图6中,一个场包括19个子场,且各个子场的权重值是32。此外,SE表示在相应的子场中的产生擦除放电之后,被设置为从发光单元状态中处于不发光单元状态的单元,且°表示相应子场中处于发光单元状态中的单元。
如图6所示,当在第一子场SF1的寻址周期期间产生擦除放电且处于发光单元状态的单元变为不发光单元状态的单元时,在维持周期期间不产生维持放电,且在随后的子场SF2至SFL中不产生维持放电,且因此表示0级灰度级。当在第二子场SF2的寻址周期期间产生擦除放电且处于发光单元状态的单元变为不发光单元状态的单元时,从第二子场SF2至第十九子场SF19中不产生维持放电,因此表示32级灰度级。当在第二子场SF2的寻址周期期间不产生擦除放电,在第三子场SF3的寻址周期期间产生擦除放电,且处于发光单元状态的单元变为不发光单元状态的单元时,表示64级灰度级。也就是,由于当在第k子场中产生擦除放电,且处于发光单元状态的单元变为不发光单元状态的单元时,在第一子场至第(k-1)子场中的发光单元状态的放电单元上连续产生维持放电,最终表示32×(k-1)级灰度级。也就是,对应于32的倍数的灰度级可以表示为从0级灰度级至628(=32×19)级灰度级。此外,不对应于32的倍数的灰度级以抖动(dithering)方法表示。在抖动方法中,结合预定的灰度级表示在预定区域之内的期望的灰度级附近的灰度级。因此,从0级灰度级和32级灰度级之间的灰度级可以通过利用0级灰度级和32级灰度级在预定区域中被表示。
在第一子场SF1中,在执行对应子组的寻址周期的操作之前,各个子组G11至G18和G21至G28的放电单元处于发光单元状态。然后,在执行寻址周期EA1i的操作之前在维持周期S111至S11(i-1)期间的第一组G1的第i子组中的放电单元上产生不必要的维持放电(这里,i是2和8之间的整数)。因此,在本发明的第一示例性实施例中,第i子组G1i可设置为处于下述状态:其中在第一子场中第一至第(i-1)子组G11至G1(i-1)的维持周期S111至S11(i-1)期间不产生维持放电。以相同的方式,第二组G2的第(8-(i-1))子组G2(8-(i-1))的放电单元可设置为处于下述状态:其中第八至第(8-(i-2))子组G28至G2(8-(i-2))的维持周期S128至S12(8-(i-2))期间不产生维持放电。
如所述的,在本发明的第一示例性实施例中,由于在多个子场SF1至SF19之中对应的子场中产生擦除放电以及处于发光单元状态的放电单元变为处于不发光单元状态的放电单元之前由随后的子场表示灰度级,因此不产生错误的轮廓线。此外,由于在产生擦除放电以及各个子场SF1至SF19中的放电单元被设置为处于不发光单元状态之前,在复位周期R期间被设置为处于发光单元状态的放电单元上连续产生维持放电,因此一旦当表示任何灰度级时产生放电。因此,由擦除放电导致的能耗被减小。然而,当利用抖动而不利用子场的结合来表示低灰度级时,可以减小低灰度级表示。也就是,由于相比于觉察出高灰度级中灰度级的差别,人们更容易觉察出低灰度级中灰度级的差别,当以抖动方法,而不利用子场的结合,来表示低灰度级时能减小低灰度级表示。下面将参考图7描述增加低灰度级表示的方法。
图7是根据本发明第二示例性实施例图3的驱动方法中表示灰度级的方法的视图。
如图7所示,子场SF1至SFL被分为第一子场组和第二子场组。此外,为了增加表示低灰度级的性能,第一子场组的子场SF1、SF2、SF3、SF4、SF5和SF6的权重值分别设置为1、2、4、8、16和24。因此,在图6的抖动方法表示的低灰度级之中,通过组合第一子场组的子场SF1至SF6可以精确地表示出1、3、7、15、31和55级灰度级。此外,当抖动方法用于灰度级时,相比于本发明的第一实施例,可以增加1和55级灰度级之间的表示。
下面将参考图8A和图8B描述实现第一组的子场SF1至SF6的权重值的方法。
图8A和图8B分别是实现第一组的子场SF1至SF6的权重值的波形图。在图8A和图8B中,为了更好地理解并简化描述,说明第一行电极组G1的第一和第二子组G11和G12。
当第一和第二行电极组G1和G2分别分为八个子组G11至G18和G21至G28,各个子场SF1至SFL的权重值对应于各个子场SF1至SFL的八个维持周期的长度的总和。例如,当图5中示出的子场SFk的权重值是32时,在子场SFk中各个维持周期Sk11至Sk18和Sk21和Sk28的长度是权重值4。此外,在各个维持周期Sk11至Sk18和Sk21至Sk28期间四个维持脉冲分别施加于X和Y电极。
因此,权重值1对应于一行电极组G1或G2的各个子组G11至G18或G21至G28的维持周期Sk1j的1/4长度(这里,j是1和8之间的整数)。如图8A所示,在第一行电极组G1的第k子场SFk中,当在第一子组G11的维持周期Sk11期间,一个维持脉冲施加于第一子组G11的Y电极之后,维持脉冲的Vs电压施加于X电极时,对应于VscH电压和VscL电压之间的差值的(VscH-VscL)电压作为维持脉冲的低电平电压施加于Y电极。此外,在第一子组G11的其余的维持周期Sk12至Sk18期间,当维持脉冲的Vs电压施加于X电极时,(VscH-VscL)电压作为维持脉冲的低电平电压施加于第一子组G11的Y电极。当在第二子组G12的维持周期Sk12期间,一个维持脉冲施加于第二子组G12的Y电极之后,维持脉冲的Vs电压施加于X电极时,对应于VscH电压和VscL电压之间的差值的(VscH-VscL)电压作为维持脉冲的低电平电压施加于第二子组G12的Y电极。此外,在第二子组G12的其余的维持周期Sk13至Sk18和第(k+1)子场SF(k+1)的第一子组G11的维持周期S(k+1)11期间,电压(VscH-VscL)作为维持脉冲的低电平电压施加于第二子组G12的Y电极。
在本发明第二示例性实施例中,由于在复位周期R之后顺序提供具有权重值1的子场SF1,各个子组G1i或G2(8-(i-1))如此设置,使得在相应的寻址周期EA1i或EA2(8-(i-1))之前的维持周期S11至S1(i-1)或S28至S2(8-(i-2))期间不产生维持放电。因此,在相应的寻址周期EA1i或EA2(8-(i-1))之前在维持周期S11-S1(i-1)或S28-S2(8-(i-2))期间,电压(VscH-VscL)可作为低电平电压施加于各个子组G1i或G2(8-(i-1))的Y电极。也就是,如图8A所示,由于第二子组G12的复位周期R期间多个放电单元被设置为处于发光单元状态,当在第一子组G11的维持周期Sk11期间,具有Vs和0V电压的维持脉冲施加于第二至第八子组G12至G18的Y电极时产生维持放电。因此,在第一子组G11的维持周期Sk11期间将(VscH-VscL)电压施加于第二至第八子组G12至G18的Y电极。在这种情况下,Vs电压和(VscH-VscL)电压之间的差值不足以产生X和Y电极之间的维持放电。然后,当(VscH-VscL)电压作为维持脉冲的低电平电压施加于Y电极时,在X和Y电极之间不产生维持放电。当X和Y电极之间不产生维持放电时,这时Vs电压施加于X电极,X电极的壁电势被保持高于Y电极的壁电势,因此当Vs电压施加于Y电极,且0V电压施加于X电极时不产生维持放电。从而可以实现具有权重值1的子场。此外,第二行电极组G2基本上等于第一行电极组G1。也就是,在第二行电极组G2的第八子组G28的维持周期Sk28期间,一个维持脉冲分别施加于X和Y电极之后,当维持脉冲的Vs电压施加于X电极时,(VscH-VscL)电压作为维持脉冲的低电平电压施加于Y电极。在这种情况下,(VscH-VscL)电压作为维持脉冲的低电平电压施加于第二行电极组的第七至第一子组G27至G21的Y电极。此外,在其余的维持周期Sk27至Sk21期间,当维持脉冲的Vs电压施加于X电极时,(VscH-VscL)电压作为维持脉冲的低电平电压施加于Y电极。以与上述相同的方式,在第七至第一子组G27至G21的发光单元中产生维持放电。下面将关于第一行电极组G1的第一子组G11描述权重值。
由于权重值2对应于一个行电极组G1或G2的各个子组G11至G18或G21至G28的维持周期之中一个维持周期Sk1的1/2长度,因此在第一子组G11的维持周期Sk11期间两个维持脉冲分别施加于X和Y电极,如图8B所示,然后,当维持脉冲的Vs电压施加于X电极时,(VscH-VscL)电压作为维持脉冲的低电平电压施加于Y电极。此外,在第一子组G11其余的维持周期Sk12至Sk18期间,当维持脉冲的Vs电压施加于X电极时,(VscH-VscL)电压作为维持脉冲的低电乎电压施加于Y电极。在这种情况下,(VscH-VscL)电压作为维持脉冲的低电平电压施加于第二至第八子组G12至G18的Y电极。从而实现了具有权重值2的子场。
当第一子组G11的维持周期Sk11期间,四个维持脉冲分别施加于X和Y电极时可以实现权重值4,在第一子组G11的其余的维持周期Sk12至Sk18期间将Vs电压的维持脉冲施加于X电极,且(VscH-VscL)电压作为维持脉冲的低电平电压施加于Y电极。此外,当在第一子组G11的维持周期Sk11和Sk12期间,四个维持脉冲分别施加于X和Y电极时可实现权重值8,在维持周期Sk13至Sk18期间(VscH-VscL)电压作为维持脉冲的低电平电压施加于Y电极。
当图5中所示的子场SFk的权重值是32,且在第二行电极组G2之中的一个子组的寻址周期的操作发生时,在第一行电极组G1的所有子组G11至G18期间产生维持放电。当执行第二行电极组G2的第一子组G21的寻址周期的操作时,在第一行电极组G1的子组G11至G18之中的六个子组G11至G16中产生维持放电的子场中实现24的权重值,并在四个子组G11至G14中产生维持放电的子场中实现16的权重值。在两个子组G11和G12中产生维持放电的子场中实现8的权重值。在一个子组G11中产生维持放电的子场中实现4的权重值。低于4的权重值可以在一个子组G11的部分维持周期中产生维持放电的子场中实现。
当图8A和8B中示出(VscH-VscL)电压作为维持脉冲的低电平电压被施加,因此在X和Y电极中不能产生维持放电时,Y电极可以被漂移。由于当Y电极漂移时,Y电极的电压随着X电极的电压而改变,发光单元中不产生X和Y电极之间的电压差值且不产生维持放电。此外,高电平电压Vs或低电平电压0V可以连续地施加于X和Y电极两者之一。
在根据本发明第一示例性实施例的驱动方法中,为了在第一子场SF1的寻址周期之前的复位周期R期间将所有放电单元初始化为处于发光单元状态,对于复位放电必须产生较强的放电。在这种情况下,然而,由于黑屏变得太亮可以有疑问地减小对比度。此外,仅通过复位周期R很难形成足够的壁电荷用于设置所有的放电单元使之处于发光单元状态。下面将参考图9和图10描述增加对比度和稳定地产生擦除放电的方法。
图9和图10是根据本发明的第三和第四示例性实施例驱动等离子体显示装置各自的方法。
如图9所示,根据本发明的第三示例性实施例的驱动方法与本发明的第一示例性实施例的方法相同。然而,与本发明的第一示例性实施例的方法不同的是,在本发明的第三示例性实施例中,选择性写方法用于第一子场SF1’的寻址周期WA11和WA12。在第一子场SF1’中,多个行电极在各个行电极组G1和G2中没有分成子组,且发光单元在一个寻址周期WA11和WA12期间分别从多个行电极形成的放电单元之中选择出来。因此,在选择性写方法中在具有寻址周期WA11和WA12的子场SF1’中,将发光单元初始化为不发光单元的复位周期R’形成在寻址周期WA11和WA12之前。也就是,当根据本发明第一示例性实施例的选择性擦除方法中的寻址周期EA111至EAL18和EA121至EAL28之前的复位周期R期间将放电单元初始化为处于发光单元状态时,在选择性写方法中的寻址周期WA11和WA12之前的复位周期R’期间将发光单元初始化为不发光单元。
更详细地,在第一子场SF1’的复位周期R’期间将第一和第二行电极组G1和G2中的放电单元初始化为处于不发光单元状态,且该放电单元被设置为在寻址周期WA11和WA12期间执行写放电的状态。在第一行电极组G1的放电单元之中为发光单元的放电单元被写放电以在寻址周期WA11期间形成壁电荷,且第一行电极组G1的发光单元在维持周期S11期间维持放电。随后,形成在第一行电极组G1的发光单元中的壁电荷被擦除。然后,第一行电极组G1的发光单元在第一行电极组G1的维持周期S211期间发光。
在第二行电极组的放电单元之中处于发光单元状态的放电单元被写放电以在寻址周期WA12期间形成壁电荷,第二行电极组G12的发光单元在维持周期S12期间维持放电,并且形成在第二行电极组G2的发光单元中的壁电荷被擦除。
如所述的,根据本发明第三示例性实施例,第一和第二行电极组G1和G2的多个行电极在寻址周期WA11和WA12期间顺序地被写放电以选择发光单元,执行维持周期S11和S12的操作以产生维持放电。因此,在执行选择性擦除方法中分别具有寻址周期的子场SF2至SFL的操作之前,在发光单元各自的电极上形成足够的壁电荷。
此外,在第一子场SF1’中各个组G1和G2的维持周期S11和S12之后,为了擦除形成在各个组G1和G2的发光单元上的壁电荷,在各个组G1和G2的维持周期S11和S12期间较窄地形成维持脉冲的最后脉宽,从而不能形成壁电荷。在最后维持脉冲之后利用波形(例如以斜坡方式改变的波形)逐渐地改变行电极的电压能够擦除由维持放电形成的壁电荷。
此外,为了在选择性写方法中的寻址周期WA11至WA12之前的复位周期R’期间将放电单元初始化为不发光单元状态,通过逐渐增加和减小电压实现复位周期。也就是,多个Y电极的电压逐渐增加,在复位周期R’期间多个Y电极的电压逐渐减小。换句话说,当在Y和X电极之间产生弱复位放电时,在放电单元上形成壁电荷之后,这时Y电极的电压增加,当Y和X电极之间产生弱复位放电时,形成在放电单元上的壁电荷被擦除,且被初始化为处于不发光单元状态,这时Y电极的电压减小。因此,由于在复位周期R1期间不产生强的放电,因此能增加对比度。
然而,以与本发明的第二示例性实施例相同的方式,如图9所示,在各个行电极组G1和G2的维持周期S11和S12之后不能执行擦除各个行电极组G1和G2的放电单元上形成的壁电荷的擦除操作。
更详细地,如图10所示,第一行电极组G1的放电单元之中的处于发光单元状态的放电单元被写放电,使得在第一子场SF”的寻址周期WA11期间形成壁电荷,且第一行电极组G1的发光单元在维持周期S11期间被维持放电。在这种情况下,在维持周期S1期间,维持放电被设置为发生最少的次数(例如一次或两次)。
随后,在第一子场SF”的寻址周期WA12期间第二行电极组G2的放电单元之中的处于发光单元状态的放电单元被写放电,以形成壁电荷,且第一和第二行电极组G1和G2的发光单元在维特周期S12之中的部分周期S121期间被维持放电。此外,当第一行电极组G1的发光单元被设置,从而在维持周期S12之中的部分周期S122期间不产生维持放电时,第二行电极组G2的发光单元被维持放电,且第一行电极组G1的发光单元不被维持放电。在这种情况下,在维持周期S12之中的部分周期S122期间,第二行电极组G2的发光单元中产生的维持放电的数目被设置为等于在维持周期S12期间第一行电极组G1的发光单元中产生的维持放电的数目。
此外,当两个维持周期S11和S12不满足第一子场SF”的权重值时,第一和第二行电极组G1和G2的发光单元在维持周期S12的部分周期S122期间额外地被维持放电。
根据本发明第一至第三示例性实施例,当第一和第二行电极组G1和G2的擦除周期ER112至ER118和ER122至ER128以及额外的维持周期SA12至SA18和SA22至SA28形成在一个场的最后子场SFL中时,它们可以被省略。当擦除周期ER112至ER118和ER122至ER128以及额外的维持周期SA12至SA18和SA22至SA28被省略时,在各个行电极组中通过多个场寻址各个子组G11至G18和G21至G28的顺序被改变。然后,各个行电极组中维持放电的数目可能变得相同。
根据本发明第四示例性实施例,当假定扫描脉冲宽度是0.7μs,一个维持周期包括八个维持脉冲,提供一个维持脉冲(具有高电平电压和低电平电压的脉冲)的时间为5.6μs,且1024个行电极以选择性擦除方法被驱动,维持周期的长度是44.8μs(=5.6μs×8),且寻址周期的长度是44.8μs(=0.7μs×64行)。因此,一个子场的长度是716.8μs(=44.8μs×16)。当选择性写方法使用具有宽度为1.3μs的扫描脉冲以及具有长度为350μs的复位周期时,寻址周期的长度是665.6μs(1.3μs×512行)。在这种情况下,当权重值是1时,在维持周期S11期间提供一个维持脉冲,在维持周期S12期间提供一个半维持脉冲,维持周期(S11+S12)的长度为14μs(=5.6μs×2.5)。因此,子场SF1的长度为1695.2μs(=350μs+665.6μs×2+14μs)。
也就是,根据本发明第四示例性实施例,由于在一个场中施加于选择性擦除方法的子场的时间为14970.8μs(=16666-1695.2),选择性擦除方法的20(14970.8/716.8)个子场可以用在一个场中。
现在将参考图11A和图11B描述施加于A电极的寻址脉冲和施加于Y电极的扫描脉冲。
图11A和图11B是根据本发明第五示例性实施例的等离子体显示装置的波形图。在图11A中,为了更好的理解以及简化说明,描述了第k个子场SFk中第一行电极组G1的第一子组G11的部分维持周期Sk11,X和Y电极的数目分别是128行。因此,子组分别包括八个Y电极。
如图11A所示,第一行电极组G1的第一子组G11的维持周期Sk11对应于第二行电极组G2的第八子组G28的寻址周期EAk28。因此,当维持脉冲交替施加于第一行电极组G1的第一子组G11的X电极和Y电极Y1-Y8时,扫描脉冲VSCL顺序地施加于第二行电极组G2的第八子组G28的Y电极Y121至Y128,且寻址脉冲Va施加于第二行电极组G2的第八子组G28的A电极。直到扫描脉冲施加于第二行电极组G2的第八子组G28的所有Y电极Y121至Y128之后完成维持周期Sk11,Y电极Y121至Y128的电压保持在扫描脉冲的高电平电压VSCH,A电极的电压保持在参考电压(图11A中为0V)。此外,尽管图11A中没有描述,参考电压施加于第二行电极组G2的第八子组G28的X电极。

因此,瞬间涌入电流可以流入第一行电极组G1的第一子组G11的X电极或Y电极驱动器以及第二行电极组G2的第八子组G28的A电极驱动器,因此可能发生电磁干扰(EMI)。以同样的方式,当寻址脉冲施加于第一行电极组G1的A电极时,这时施加于第二行电极组G2的X电极或Y电极的维持脉冲被增加或减小,发生电磁干扰。
因此,将参考图11B描述根据本发明第六示例性实施例,用于减小等离子体显示装置中的EMI的驱动波形。
图11A和图11B是根据本发明第五示例性实施例的等离子体显示装置的波形图。在图11B中,为了更好的理解以及简化说明,描述了第k个子场SFk中第一行电极组G1的第一子组G11的部分维持周期Sk11。
根据本发明的第六示例性实施例,寻址脉冲不施加于第二行电极组G2的第八子组G28的A电极,这时施加于第一行电极组G1的第一子组G11的X电极或Y电极的维持脉冲被增加和减小。也就是,在施加于第一行电极组G1的第一子组G11的X电极和Y电极的维持脉冲之间,或当维持脉冲的维持放电电压被保持时,寻址脉冲被施加于第二行电极组G2的第八子组G28的A电极。

如所述的,因为当用于增加或减小施加于一个行电极组的X电极或Y电极的时间和用于将寻址脉冲提供给另一行电极组的A电极的时间不交迭时不产生涌入电流,因此可能减小EMI。
尽管图5、图11A和图11B中已经描述了维持脉冲交替具有Vs电压和0V电压,且反相的维持脉冲施加于Y电极和X电极,但是其它类型的维持脉冲可应用于本发明的示例性实施例中。也就是,在本发明的示例性实施例中,当X电压被偏置为0V电压时,具有Vs电压和-Vs电压的维持脉冲可以施加于Y电极。
尽管已经结合目前被认为是实际的示例性实施例描述了本发明,可以理解本发明不限于公开的实施例,但是,相反,本发明旨在覆盖包括在所附的权利要求的精神和范围之内的各种修改及等价设置。
根据本发明的示例性实施例,多个行电极被分组为第一和第二行电极组,且各个行电极组被分组为多个子组。此外,在一个场的各个子场中,对于第一和第二行电极组的各个子组执行寻址周期的操作,且在各个子组的寻址周期之间执行维持周期的操作。而且,当执行第一行电极组的各个子组的维持周期的操作时执行第二行电极组的各个子组的寻址周期的操作,且当执行第二行电极组的各个子组的寻址周期的操作时执行第一行电极组的各个子组的维持周期的操作。如上所述,在维持周期期间形成的最初粒子在寻址周期期间被适当地使用,因为寻址周期形成在各个子组的维持周期之间。因此,扫描操作可以通过缩短扫描脉冲的宽度被快速地执行,并且由于在寻址周期期间执行维持周期的操作,从而可以减小一个子场的长度。
此外,各个子场的寻址周期通过选择性擦除方法形成,在相应的子场形成擦除放电操作之前由随后的子场表示灰度级,因此不产生错误的轮廓线。由于当表示任何级灰度级时产生一个擦除放电,因此可以减小功耗。
由于在各个子场中首先被定位的子场中的寻址周期期间使用选择性写方法而形成足够的壁电荷,因此利用选择性擦除方法在随后的子场中可以稳定地执行擦除放电。由于利用选择性写方法在子场的复位周期期间使用逐渐增加的电压以及逐渐减小的电压,因此在复位周期期间没有强放电产生,且可以增加对比度。
当用于增加或减小施加于一个行电极组的X和Y电极的维持脉冲的时间和用于将寻址脉冲提供给另一行电极组的A电极的时间不交迭时,EMI被减小,且放电被更稳定地执行。
Claims (15)
1、一种通过由一个场划分的多个子场驱动等离子体显示装置的方法,该等离子体显示装置包括多个行电极、多个列电极、由多个行电极和多个列电极分别定义的多个放电单元,该方法包括:
将多个行电极分为第一行电极组和第二行电极组,将第一行电极组分为多个第一子组,将第二行电极组分为多个第二子组;
在多个子场中选择的第一子场组的各个第一子场中,当从多个第一子组中选出的一个第一子组的发光单元中选择不发光单元时,在分别对应于至少一个第二子组的第一周期期间,维持放电从多个第二子组中选择的至少一个第二子组的发光单元;
在各个第一子场中,当从多个第二子组中选出的一个第二子组的发光单元中选择不发光单元时,在分别对应于至少一个第一子组的第二周期期间,维持放电从多个第一子组中选择的至少一个第一子组的发光单元;
其中至少一个第二子组的发光单元的维持放电还包括至少施加一次分别具有反相的高电平电压和低电平电压的第一维持脉冲和第二维持脉冲到至少一个第二子组的发光单元的第一电极和第二电极;且
其中当或者将高电平电压或者低电平电压施加于第一和第二电极时,从一个第一子组的发光单元之中选择不发光单元还包括将第一寻址脉冲提供给一个子组的第三电极。
2、根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中在至少一个周期期间不施加第一寻址脉冲,该周期或者选自于第一维持脉冲和第二维持脉冲从低电平电压增加到高电平电压的周期,或者选自于第一维持脉冲和第二维持脉冲从高电平电压减小到低电平电压的周期。
3、根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中,在从第一子场组中选择的至少一个第一子场中,多个第二子组的发光单元在第一周期期间被维持放电,且多个第一子组的发光单元在第二周期期间被维持放电。
4、根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中,在第一子场组中选择的至少一个第一子场中,第一周期对应于从该一个第一子组的发光单元之中选择不发光单元的周期。
5、根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中,在第一子场组中选择的至少一个第一子场中,除第一周期之外,在一个第一子组的发光单元之中选择不发光单元的周期期间,至少一个第二子组的发光单元不被维持放电,且除第二周期之外,在一个第二子组的发光单元之中选择不发光单元的周期期间,至少一个第一子组的发光单元不被维持放电。
6、根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中,在第一子场组的至少一个第一子场中,除了从多个第二子组中选择的至少一个第二子组之外,其它的第二子组在从一个第一子组的发光单元中选择不发光单元的周期中不被维持放电。
7、根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中第一子场组的各个第一子场分别具有相同的权重值。
8、根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中从第一子场组之中选择的部分第一子场分别具有相同的权重值,其余的第一子场分别具有一个权重值,该权重值低于该部分第一子场的权重值。
9、根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中第一行电极组包括提供在等离子体显示装置上部上并从多个第一电极中选择的第一电极,且第二行电极组包括提供在等离子体显示装置的下部上并从多个第一电极中选择的第一电极。
10、一种等离子体显示装置,包括:
等离子体显示板(PDP),其包括多个第一电极,多个第二电极,以与第一电极和第二电极交叉方向排列的多个第三电极,以及由第一电极、第二电极和第三电极定义的多个单元;
控制器,其用于将一个场分为多个子场,将多个第一电极分为第一组和第二组,将第一组的第一电极分为多个第一子组,并将第二组的第一电极分为多个第二子组;
驱动器,其用于驱动多个第一电极、多个第二电极、以及多个第三电极;
其中,在从多个子场中选择的各个随后第一子场中,驱动器用于:
在各个第一子组的第一周期期间,从各个第一子组的发光单元中选择不发光单元,并在第二周期期间,维持放电从多个第二子组中选择的至少一个第二子组的发光单元,该第二周期是第一周期的至少一部分;
在各个第二子组的第三周期期间,从各个第二子组的发光单元中选择不发光单元,第三周期位于邻近的第一周期之间,用于在第四周期期间将分别具有反相的高电平电压和低电平电压的第一维持脉冲和第二维持脉冲提供给至少一个第一子组的发光单元的第一和第二电极,该第一子组选自于多个第一子组,第四周期是第三周期的至少一部分,并维持放电第一和第二电极;以及
当或者高电平电压或者低电平电压被提供给第一和第二电极时,通过将第一寻址脉冲提供给一个子组的第三电极,从一个第一子组的发光单元中选择不发光单元。
11、根据权利要求10所述的等离子体显示装置,其中驱动器在至少一个周期期间不提供第一寻址脉冲,该周期或者选自于第一维持脉冲和第二维持脉冲从低电平电压增加到高电平电压的周期,或者选自于第一维持脉冲和第二维持脉冲从高电平电压减小到低电平电压的周期。
12、根据权利要求10所述的等离子体显示装置,其中,在多个第一子场之前提供的第二子场中,驱动器用于从第一组的放电单元中选择发光单元,用于维持放电第一组的发光单元,从第二组的放电单元中选择发光单元,以维持放电第二组的发光单元。
13、根据权利要求12所述的等离子体显示装置,其中在第二子场中选择发光单元之前,驱动器用于将多个放电单元设置为不发光单元状态。
14、根据权利要求12所述的等离子体显示装置,其中第二周期比第一周期短,且第四周期比第三周期短。
15、根据权利要求12所述的等离子体显示装置,其中第二周期等于第一周期,且第四周期等于第三周期。
