Abstract

振动焊接装置及方法
技术领域
本发明涉及用于振动焊接的装置及方法,尤其涉及具有多个振动头的振动焊接。
背景技术
振动焊接本身用于塑料零件的焊接。在此过程中,待焊的塑料零件在一些接触面互相摩擦。经过这样的摩擦,在接缝区达到被连接塑料零件的熔点,以使此塑料在接触面塑化并被连接。
对于振动焊接,在振动焊机中通常操作单独的振动头。该技术适于焊接不同尺寸的塑料零件,例如车辆仪表板。依据塑料零件的尺寸使用不同尺寸的焊机。焊机基于工具重量、被焊表面和设备尺寸来区分。
为了能连接较大的塑料零件,与继续增加单独振动头的尺寸相比,在振动焊机中增加振动头的数量更经济并且在技术上更有意义。因此,较大结构通过电器部件如电线圈的串联和机械构件的机械连接是可以实现的。特别是对于较大结构,机械连接是最重要的,由于只有采用这种方式,才能获得被连接的机械构件和振动头的频率和相位一致的振动。然而,非常不利的是,迄今为止,由于构造的因素,仅两个振动头能互相连接并因此同步。但是,如果需要多个振动头来进行大塑料零件的振动焊接,将在振动头中产生调制困难。例如,通过振动焊机中振动头的非受控、异相的振动,塑料零件产生不可靠的连接。
因此,本发明的目的是提供一种用于振动焊接的装置和方法,其可确保即便在使用多个振动头或振动系统时,塑料零件仍可获得可靠的连接,因为振动系统或振动头的总体就像一个大振动头在工作。
发明内容
上述目的通过本发明提供的如下所述的装置和方法来解决。
本发明提供一种振动焊接装置,其特征在于:
a.多个机械解耦的振动头,每个振动头与一个频率转换器或其他的适合的驱动器相连;
b.将振动头的频率转换器连接在一起的电路,使其中一个频率转换器可作为主频率转换器操作,而其它的频率转换器作为从频率转换器操作,以便
c.基于主频率转换器的控制作用,实现多个振动头的同步或目标异步操作。
优选地,振动头可在从频率、相位和振幅上或者中选择这些的一个或多个变量上以同步或者目标异步的方式操作。
优选地,振动头的频率和相位由主频率转换器规定,同时频率由振动头的共振频率的平均值确定。
优选地,从频率转换器由主频率转换器借助于采用单独振幅控制方式通过BUS系统或并联电路来控制。
优选地,所述装置具有至少两个带有频率转换器的振动头,所述振动头可相对于工件自由定位。
本发明还提供一种利用多个振动头振动焊接工件的方法,所述振动头与频率转换器相连并相互机械解耦,该方法包括以下步骤:
a.定义至少一个频率转换器为主频率转换器,其余频率转换器为从频率转换器,及
b.通过至少一个主频率转换器驱动从频率转换器,以便
c.在从频率、相位和振幅或者这些中选择的一个或多个变量上以同步或者目标异步的方式操作振动头。
优选地,借助于频率转换器的并联电路或借助于BUS系统使频率转换器连接而实现所述驱动。
优选地,至少两个振动头被操作,振动头可相对于工件自由定位。
优选地,所述方法包括进一步的步骤:
主频率转换器规定振动头的频率和相位,同时频率由振动头的共振频率的平均值确定。
优选地,所述方法包括进一步的步骤:
主频率转换器规定振动头各自的或共同的振幅目标值,并将该目标值传输给从频率转换器,以便振动头以匹配的振幅或不同的振幅被操作。
本发明的有利设计、实施例和进一步开发将在以下的说明、附图和相关的权利要求书中给出。本发明提供一种装置和一种方法,使用所述装置和方法,若干独立的和机械解耦的振动系统以相同的振幅、频率和相位工作,以致其效果等同于一个单独的大振动头。
根据本发明的振动焊装置,其包括:多个机械解耦的振动头,每个振动头与一个频率转换器或其他的适合的驱动器相连;与振动头的频率转换器相连的电开关,以便其中一个频率转换器作为主频率转换器运行,而其他的频率转换器作为从频率转换器运行,从而基于主频率转换器的控制作用,可实现多个振动头同步或目标异步操作。
借助于本发明装置,用于多个振动头的同步操作的调制和构造难点均被克服。这是由于借助于多个振动头的电驱动器,可摒除同步作用的机械耦合。而且,这些具有相同控制信号的振动头的供电是通过机械解耦振动头的相互电连接而实现的。每个振动头的相同的电控制信号确保振动头在频率、相位和振幅上的同步操作或选择这些变量的同步操作是可能的。根据进一步的实施例,还可以想到,被组合的塑料零件的结构和/或材料特性使振动头的与相位和/或振幅有关的目标异步操作成为必需。还有利的是,振动头一起起动和停止。根据另一实施例,振动头也能在共同起动之后的任何时候单独地和/或成组地停止。
根据另一实施例,优选的是,主频率转换器为多个振动头规定相同的频率和相位,同时该频率由各个振动头的共振频率的平均值得到。如另一设计,也可以想到,主频率转换器通过BUS系统或并联电路驱动从频率转换器,借助于每个从频率转换器,各个振动头的一个独立振幅控制是可能的。基于振动头的各自驱动和它们的缺少机械耦合,这些振动头例如至少两个振动头,可以相对于被焊工件自由放置。因此结构自由性,其能够应用到不同工件的几何结构,同时保证可靠的焊接连接。

具体实施方式
用于振动焊的装置包括多个振动头10,优选两个或更多的振动头。图1所示为这些振动头10的一个例子。它们在振动焊装置中以机械解耦的方式排列。基于振动头10的机械解耦的排列方式,被焊塑料零件的几何形状不需要被调整的适应振动头10的排列或与其对齐。而且,振动头10可自由定位,以便振动头10的布置能够被调整以适应被处理的塑料零件的任意几何形状。
每个振动头10与频率转换器或其他适合的驱动器(未示出)相连。频率转换器依次经由电路彼此相连,以便频率转换器中的一个作为主频率转换器(下文称主转换器)操作,其他的频率转换器作为从频率转换器(下文称从转换器)操作。此电路要求,一个频率转换器被首先定义为主转换器,其余频率转换器被定义为从转换器。主转换器为振动头10的所有频率转换器即既为它本身和又为从转换器规定控制和/或供应信号(supply singal)。因此,任何安装在具有振动头10的振动焊机内的频率转换器都可被定义为主转换器,从而不需要用于振动焊机的振动系统的单独频率转换器或单独的控制单元。而且,可以想到,进一步的实施例使用被振动头10分离的频率转换器或单元的控制单元作为主转换器。更为优选的是,并非所有的控制信号都由主转换器规定。因此,例如,根据进一步的实施例,目标振幅不是由主转换器规定,而是由单独的从转换器规定。
经由所述电路频率转换器或主转换器和从转换器相连,所述电路根据不同的实施例可被设计成不同。根据第一实施例,主转换器和从转换器经由并联电路相连。因此,主转换器驱动所有从转换器,并且因此驱动相连的具有相同的信号的振动头10。所有的振动头10因此以同步的频率和相位操作。另外,每个从转换器单独地与主转换器相连,以便接收各个振动头的振幅的各个目标值。在此方式中,在各个振动头10中产生由主转换器以目标方式控制并由从转换器调制的振幅。一般来说,振幅由主转换器确定当然是可能的。然而,各个振幅的调制更适宜由各个从转换器承担。
根据本发明进一步实施例,从转换器与主转换器经由BUS(二进制单位系统)系统相连,该BUS系统确保频率转换器之间的操作数据的交换,以便相连的振动头10完全由主转换器和BUS系统控制。主转换器传输的操作数据包括给相连的从转换器的控制和/或供应数据,这些数据决定振动头10的频率、振幅和相位。
在上述用于连接频率转换器和振动头10的电路的帮助下,振动头10可在频率、相位和振幅上或者选择这些变量同步操作(参见图2)或以目标的异步方式操作。在本文中,同步指振动头以相同的频率、相位和振幅或者选择这些匹配变量工作。异步指不同振动头的相位和振幅彼此是不同的。不同的程度由振动焊接工艺的需要而决定。因此,可以想到,举例来说,通过振动头的同步操作在大面积工件上可形成干扰振荡/振动。它们可通过一个或多个振动头的目标异步驱动和操作来抵消或减少。这样,被处理工件的几何形状、尺寸和材料性能和振动焊其他的基本条件会要求这种工作模式。由于同步频率控制,振动头10的各自的共振频率借助于所关联的频率转换器或从转换器确定并发送到主转换器。主转换器计算被识别的共振频率的平均值,以便将频率目标值从主转换器发送到从转换器,或因此将平均值指派给从转换器。振动头10的振幅借助目标值单独控制,所述目标值可由主转换器以目标方式进行调制,而且也可通过它自己的线路或通过与被连接的振动头10的各自的从转换器相连的BUS系统来确定。因此,各个振动头的振幅根据各自的目标值可以相同或不同。
借助于在振动头10的机械解耦布置及其同时,例如同步驱动,振动头10可在空间上自由地定位。因此,具有相关频率转换器或从转换器的振动头10的空间排列最佳适应于被处理的的工件的几何形状。因此,一方面,可保证振动头的同步或目标异步驱动,同时在另一方面,可避免振动头机械耦合的约束。优选使用两个或更多振动头10,同时该数量可根据工件几何形状和尺寸而变化。优选的是,共同起动和停止振动头,或在共同起动之后按序不一致地停止振动头。

Claims (10)

1.振动焊接装置,其特征在于:
a.多个机械解耦的振动头(10),每个振动头与一个频率转换器或其他的适合的驱动器相连;
b.将振动头(10)的频率转换器连接在一起的电路,使其中一个频率转换器可作为主频率转换器操作,而其它的频率转换器作为从频率转换器操作,以便

2.如权利要求1所述的装置,其中,振动头(10)可在从频率、相位和振幅中选择的一个或多个变量上以同步或者目标异步的方式操作。
3.如权利要求1所述的装置,其中,振动头(10)的频率和相位由主频率转换器规定,同时频率由振动头(10)的共振频率的平均值确定。
4.如权利要求1所述的装置,其中,从频率转换器由主频率转换器借助于采用单独振幅控制方式通过BUS系统或并联电路来控制。

6.一种利用多个振动头(10)振动焊接工件的方法,所述振动头与频率转换器相连并相互机械解耦,该方法包括以下步骤:

b.通过至少一个主频率转换器驱动从频率转换器,以便
