Description

交互电视记录与应用的链接

交互电视(iTV)正越来越普及。交互电视的一个实例是多媒体家用平台(MHP),这是一种用于组合数字电视(DTV)与交互性以及对因特网和万维网的访问的数字视频广播(DVB)标准。MHP是用于iTV的标准,其规定被设计成操作在支持该MHP的设备上的应用可以获得的功能。MHP是基于Java平台,并且其用特定于数字iTV平台的库来扩展该Java平台。MHP典型地被设计成用于机顶盒。该标准的当前版本不提供记录应用和音频/视频内容的功能。MHP只基于现场广播。

服务绑定的应用是与内容极为相关的应用,其中内容通常是与所述应用一起发送的音频/视频。此类应用只有在相关内容可用时才有其意义。因此,服务绑定的内容一般被与相关内容一起记录。然而,某些服务绑定的应用可能不只与存储在单个存储介质上的一个音频/视频流相关,而是与存储在单个存储介质上的几个音频/视频流相关。一个例子是允许用户选择观看一集连续剧的应用。举例来说,在不同时间点(例如每天或每周)记录了几集连续剧。这几集连续剧都被记录在同一存储介质上。所希望的是该应用能让用户选择其中的特定一集来观看。因此,问题是该应用只与相关内容(即与该应用同时被广播和记录的单集连续剧)一同被记录,并且不能识别剩余的内容。例如,与特定一集一起记录的完全相同的或者类似的应用不能访问同一存储介质上的其它各集。该应用只与单一音频/视频流相关。因此,需要该应用能够看到存储介质上的全部相关内容,例如全部相关连续剧。此外,另一问题是可能从存储介质上删除所记录的内容而不删除相关应用。当运行一个应用而存储介质上没有相关内容可用时,这会导致不稳定的系统。
另一个问题是将应用加载到存储器中较耗时间。由于每次运行音频/视频流时都将相关应用加载到存储器中来运行,所以有上述问题。
另外还希望所述应用向观众给出播放其它剧集的选项。
因此,需要一种将iTV应用和内容存储到存储介质中并从该存储介质中重放iTV记录的新的方法,所述iTV记录包括应用和相关内容。
本发明克服了本领域中的上述缺陷,并且通过提供一种根据所附权利要求书的方法和计算机可读介质而至少解决了上述问题。
根据本发明的一般解决方案是用标识信息来标记所记录的交互电视内容,以便对所记录的iTV内容进行访问控制。更具体来说,由一个应用启动的记录被标记上发起该记录的应用以及广播该应用的广播商。这允许一个应用看到所存储的哪些其它节目与该应用相关,并且允许客户在这些节目之间进行导航。该解决方案还允许系统确保一个应用只能访问与其相链接的文件,这样,一个应用不能删除或者修改来自其它应用的文件。
根据本发明的各方面,公开了一种用于处理对交互电视的记录和/或重放的方法和计算机可读介质。根据本发明的一个方面,提供了一种用于处理对交互电视的记录和/或重放的方法,其中用标识信息来标记所记录的交互电视内容,以便对所述交互电视内容进行访问控制。

Claims (17)

1、一种记录和/或重放所记录的交互电视的方法,包括:
