The ring-like elastic belt is not disposed in the crotch region of the absorbent main body. The outer cover layer comprises a separate material from the front belt layer and the back belt layer. The outer cover layer has longitudinal side portions and transverse end portions. The outer cover layer covers the absorbent main body in the crotch region and extends into the front waist region and the back waist region to be joined with the ring-like elastic belt.
