Abstract

本发明涉及用于所谓白色/灰色商品的一种多功能外壳,特别适用于家用电器、消费电子设备、包括像手机一样的移动设备和/或诸如在医疗领域、电力领域或汽车领域的大型设备。首先可改变的外壳色彩就已经是对现有外壳的一种改进,然而特别的是,通过包含不同传感器和/或像太阳能电池一样的能量源而可能形成的组合尤其有利。

Description

多功能外壳
本发明涉及用于所谓白色/灰色商品的一种多功能外壳,特别适用于家用电器、消费电子设备、包括像手机一样的移动设备和/或诸如在医疗领域、电力领域或汽车领域的大型设备。
已知可更换的外壳,从而例如可改变外壳的色彩效果以及适应持有者的需要。不利的是,外壳总是展示一种颜色,此外还不具备功能。
然而存在设计出这样一种外壳的需求,该外壳颜色可以随意改变和/或该外壳是功能化的。
本发明的任务是,设计出一种外壳,该外壳可实现多种功能且无需更换固体部分就示出颜色改变。
本发明的主题是一种外壳,该外壳具有一个固体的基体,该外壳至少部分地用一种薄膜包裹。该薄膜用作基底,在该基底上至少放置一个电子元件。
依据一实施形式,电子元件是一个电化学单元,其中颜料的掺杂影响电化学元件的颜色。在此一般采用一种一个电化学单元的结构,其包含一个电极,各种电致变色颜料,电解液和一个反向电极,在此两电极之间的封装是有意义的,用于防止电解液的流失。电致变色颜料的掺杂通过接上一个电压来实现,以此来导致电解液的离子扩散到颜料中并且氧化或还原所述的颜料。如果用这样一种电致变色薄膜包裹外壳,那么通过接上微弱电压将改变外壳的颜色。颜色改变最好是可逆的。
依据另一实施形式,电子元件是一个光电单元,例如一个太阳能电池。尤其由有机材料或至少主要由有机材料构成的太阳能电池在此是令人感兴趣的,因为该太阳能电池一般即使在微弱的室内光线情况下也提供足够的电功率,用于转换电致变色的颜色。
依据又一实施形式,电子元件例如是一个光检测器,其能够检测环境光线,(强度和/或色彩)以及根据环境条件转换薄膜和用薄膜包裹的部分外壳的颜色。
依据其他的实施形式,在薄膜上放置不同的具有不同传感器技术的电子元件。如此能够使用气体传感器、温度传感器、湿度传感器和/或其他的传感器,用于经由外壳提供关于不同环境条件的信息。这样未来能够读取外壳所处环境的当前状况。这尤其适合辐射(UV、X射线、放射性)负荷和/或空气(臭氧)负荷和/或其他借助传感器可确定的负荷。
作为实用的电致变色的颜色系统的例子,可列出以下的化合物:聚苯胺(PANI)、PEDOT或其衍生物、Vinologene或其他的共轭聚合物的或分子的颜色系统,这些系统在氧化或还原时改变其颜色状态。
固体的外壳基体是由至今对于这样的外壳通用的塑料制成,如PVC、PE等。
这里“外壳”不仅指传统外壳所命名的体,还指服装和/或汽车或其他东西的一部分。优选的外壳是电话的外壳,尤其是手机的、随身听设备的外壳,然而也是帽盔、自行车板、汽车底盘等等......
用作电子元件基底的薄膜优选是一种柔韧的薄膜,诸如PET、PMMA、PC、聚酰亚胺(Polyimid)...
所述的电子元件优选是这样的,其主要由有机材料制成,在此“有机材料”或“功能聚合物”或“聚合物”的概念这里包括有机的、有机金属的和/或有机-无机的塑料(混合物)的所有种类,尤其是在英语中称为“plastics”的塑料。涉及除构成传统二级管的半导体(锗、硅)和典型的金属导体以外的所有种类的材料。因而未设置教条意义上把有机材料作为含碳材料的限制,更确切地说,考虑诸如硅的广泛使用。此外,该术语未受到关于分子大小,尤其是关于聚合物材料和/或低聚物材料的限制,而且“小分子”的使用完全是可能的。在功能聚合物中词的成分“聚合物”是有历史条件的,在这方面不是指存在一个实际的聚合物。半导体、导体和/或绝缘体可以被视为功能聚合物。
主要由有机材料构成的电子元件的特征在它们通常能够放置在柔韧的基底上。在此各功能层,如导体层、半导体层、绝缘体层、发射层、光电有效层等,主要由有机材料构成。依据有机材料的溶解性能够通过按压的方法和/或简单的卷成卷的方法来制造这些元件。
用本发明首次使得外壳并入设备的功能性成为可能,也就是说,通过外壳的配置及作用来实现附加的经济价值。在此色彩可变的外壳单独而言就已经是一种改进,然而特别的是,通过包含不同传感器和/或像太阳能电池一样的能量源而可能形成的组合尤其是有利的。

Claims (6)

1.一种具有固体的基体且至少部分地用薄膜包裹的外壳,其中所述的薄膜用作基底,在所述的基底上放置至少一个电子元件。
2.按照权利要求1的外壳,其中至少一个电子元件包含电致变色的颜色系统。
3.按照权利要求2的外壳,其中所述的电致变色的颜色系统引起外壳颜色的可逆的改变。
4.按照上述权利要求之一的外壳,其中至少一个电子元件包含光电单元,如太阳能电池、光检测器或类似物。
5.按照上述权利要求之一的外壳,其中至少一个电子元件包含传感器。
6.按照上述权利要求之一的外壳,其中所述的电子元件主要由有机材料构成。
