Abstract

本发明涉及移动通信终端的菜单说明提供方法。在本发明中，如果光标在菜单(或项目)中停留既定时间以上，则从事先构成的菜单说明数据库中读取其所在菜单的相关功能说明，在终端显示屏的一部分进行显示，并使从上述菜单说明数据库中读取的光标所在菜单的相关功能，在终端显示屏上以文字平移方式进行显示，从而具有可提供相应项目的功能，给用户提供方便的效果。

移动通信终端的菜单说明提供方法
技术领域
本发明涉及移动通信领域，特别是涉及移动通信终端，具体讲是移动通信终端的菜单说明提供方法。
背景技术
随着近来通信技术的迅猛发展，移动通信终端除了原本的功能，即电话通话功能以外，还具有了附加的各种功能，比如无线互联网功能、游戏功能和多媒体功能等等。另外，为了满足用户不断扩大的需求，移动通信运营商们也正在移动通信终端上添加各种功能。
正象这样，由于移动通信终端的功能越来越丰富，而且每种功能都有一个以上的对应项目，因此，用户很难了解终端所包括的各种功能项目，对于不能自由使用终端的群体和因初次接触新终端而尚未熟悉的用户来说，大量的菜单和复杂的术语反而会成为一种负担。例如，为了确认与各个项目对应的功能，只能试着直接执行其相应的项目，或者在与终端一起提供的菜单中，查找并确认相应的功能。因此，了解各个项目相应的功能可能要耗费大量的时间。
发明内容
本发明提供一种移动通信终端的菜单说明提供方法，它建立与终端构成项目相关的说明数据库，当光标在项目上停留既定时间以上时，在显示屏的下端以文字平移方式显示与该项目相关的说明，由此可提供相应项目的功能，给用户以方便。
为实现上述目的，本发明的特征是：如果光标在菜单(或项目)上停留既定时间以上，则从事先构成的菜单说明数据库中读取其所在菜单的相关功能说明，在终端显示屏的一部分进行显示。
从所述菜单说明数据库中读取的光标所在菜单的相关功能，以文字平移方式在终端显示屏上显示。
以所述文字平移方式显示的菜单相关功能的说明窗口，只按照事先设置好的既定次数反复显示。
所述菜单说明数据库是由菜单相关索引及菜单相关说明构成的数据表。所述光标所在菜单相关的功能说明，只在事先设置好“可以设置有无事先构成的功能说明”的项目时，才在终端显示屏上显示。
本发明具有如下效果，即，建立与终端构成项目相关的说明数据库，当光标在项目上停留既定时间以上时，在显示屏的下端以文字平移方式显示与该项目相关的说明，由此可提供相应项目的功能，给用户以方便。

具体实施方式
下面参照附图，说明本发明移动通信终端的菜单说明提供方法的有益实施例。
图1是本发明移动通信终端的菜单说明提供方法一个实施例的顺序图。如图所示，进入菜单后，当光标在菜单中事先构成的项目上停留既定时间(例如1秒)时，对于光标所在的项目，从具有终端内部事先构成的各菜单说明文字信息的数据库(下称“菜单说明数据库”)中提供相应的说明，在显示屏的下端以文字平移方式显示。
所述菜单说明数据库由各菜单(或项目)相关索引与说明菜单功能的信息构成。即，读取光标所在项目的索引值后，与其索引值相应的菜单功能说明在显示屏的下端以平移方式显示。当然，也可以构成可设置有无光标所在项目的相关功能说明的项目后，使该项目只在事先设置好的时候才提供所述文字平移功能，从而使该功能只有通过用户的选择才能被提供。
另外，以所述文字平移方式显示的菜单相关功能说明窗口，只按照设置好的既定次数反复显示或持续显示。在此，只有在所述光标停留事先设置的既定时间以上时，才显示与相应项目相关的菜单说明，这是为了阻止光标移动时显示移动中的项目的相关说明，防止不必要的耗电。
如上所述，本发明具有如下优点，即，在显示屏下端以文字平移方式显示用户所选项目的相关功能说明，使用户容易理解相应项目的功能，因此可以减少为确认各种功能而耗费的时间。例如，如图2所示，用户进入日程管理菜单后，如果使光标在该菜单下级项目中的既定项目，即″D-DAY计数器″项目上停留既定时间以上，则可以确认与该项目相关的索引值，并从菜单说明数据库中读取与该索引值相应的功能说明，使该功能说明的相关内容在显示屏的下端区域从右向左平移显示，由此，用户可以直接了解光标所在″D-DAY计数器″项目的相关功能。
上述实施例仅用于说明本发明，而非用于限定本发明。

Claims (5)

1.一种移动通信终端的菜单说明提供方法，其特征是：如果光标在菜单或项目中停留既定时间以上，则从事先构成的菜单说明数据库中读取其所在菜单的相关功能说明，在终端显示屏的一部分进行显示。
2.根据权利要求1所述的移动通信终端的菜单说明提供方法，其特征是：从所述菜单说明数据库中读取的光标所在菜单的相关功能，在终端显示屏上以文字平移方式进行显示。
3.根据权利要求2所述的移动通信终端的菜单说明提供方法，其特征是：以所述文字平移方式显示的菜单相关功能的说明窗口，只按照事先设置好的既定次数反复显示。
4.根据权利要求1所述的移动通信终端的菜单说明提供方法，其特征是：所述菜单说明数据库是由菜单相关索引及菜单相关说明构成的数据表。
5.根据权利要求1所述的移动通信终端的菜单说明提供方法，其特征是：所述光标所在菜单相关功能的说明，只在事先设置好“可以设置有无事先构成的功能说明”项目时，才在终端显示屏上显示。
