本发明总体上涉及一种纤维素纤维产品,特别涉及一种具有高压缩回复性的纤维素纤维产品。
发明背景
将交联的纤维素纤维方便地加入不同的纤维制品中,以提高制品的松密度、回弹性和干燥度。吸收制品,例如尿布一般由包括吸收纤维例如木浆纤维在内的纤维素复合材料形成。当将此类纤维复合材料加入吸收制品中时,此类纤维复合材料能够提供一种具有分别由吸收纤维和交联纤维所引入的高液体收集速率和高液体芯吸能力优点的产品。
个人护理吸收产品例如尿布、成人失禁用品以及女性卫生用品包括液体收集和/或分布层,这些层用于快速收集和然后将所收集液体分布至存储芯保留。为达到快速收集和分布,这些层可包括交联纤维素纤维,其赋予这些层以松密度和回弹性。
用于个人护理吸收产品如婴儿尿布的液体收集复合材料最好具有低密度,范围从约0.04-约0.06g/cm3。这样的低密度复合材料可以制造,但为经济地运输该低密度复合材料到达如尿布制造商用以引入尿布中,首先必须稠化该复合材料至密度为约0.2g/cm3。不幸的是,在运输后及引入吸收产品之前,低密度复合材料常不能回返至低密度。
因此,需要一种适合用作收集复合材料的产品,所述复合材料应可制造为具有低密度,稠化用于运输,然后回弹至或接近其原始密度用以导入吸收产品中。本发明为满足这些需要进行探索,并提供进一步相关的优点。
发明概述
一方面,本发明提供具有低蠕变的纤维素纤维产品。该产品包括交联纤维素纤维和粘合剂。该产品可任选包括其他纤维。
在本发明的另一方面,提供了形成低蠕变纤维素纤维产品的方法。在一个实施方式中,产品通过气流铺置法或挤出法形成。
在又一方面,本发明提供包括纤维素纤维产品的吸收制品。可以将该产品与一个或多个其他层结合以提供可以引入吸收制品如婴儿尿布、成人失禁产品和女性护理产品的结构。
优选实施方式的详细说明
一方面,本发明提供纤维素纤维产品,在产品稠化用于运输后,该产品回返至或接近其原始密度用以导入吸收制品中。低蠕变产品包括粘合的交联纤维素纤维。该产品具有与纤维内交联纤维相关的有利松密度和回弹性特性,以及经由纤维之间粘合所赋予的有利结构整体性。所述产品是粘合的网,其中交联纤维和网自身的粘合结构参与网的回弹性和液体收集性能。
在本发明中,纤维之间的粘合可通过用粘合剂处理纤维来实现。在一个实施方式中,粘合剂是胶乳。在一个实施方式中,产品是用胶乳和胶乳固定剂处理交联纤维素纤维来形成的。
所述产品可如下形成:(1)形成交联纤维素纤维的网;(2)用粘合剂处理网;和(3)以足以导致纤维之间粘合的温度和时间来加热所述网。所述产品可通过气流铺置、湿法成网、泡沫形成和挤出工艺形成。
根据本发明形成的产品的初始密度范围为约0.02-约0.06g/cm3。这样的低密度复合材料可稠化为高密度产品,该高密度产品的密度为约0.075-约0.2g/cm3。稠化产品回返至或接近其初始密度。在0.5psi下7天后,根据本发明形成的产品回返至其初始密度的约75-约100%。
需要时,众多交联剂和交联催化剂中任一可用于制备本发明产品。如下列出代表性的可用交联剂和催化剂。下述各专利以全文引入本文作为参考。
合适的脲基交联剂包括取代的脲类,例如羟甲基化的脲、羟甲基化的环状脲、羟甲基化的低级烷基环状脲、羟甲基化的二羟基环状脲、二羟基环状脲以及低级烷基取代的环状脲。具体的脲基交联剂包括二甲基二羟基脲(DMDHU,1,3-二甲基-4,5-二羟基-2-咪唑啉酮)、二羟甲基二羟基亚乙基脲(DMDHEU,1,3-二羟基甲基-4,5-二羟基-2-咪唑啉酮)、二羟甲基脲(DMU,双[N-羟基甲基]脲)、二羟基亚乙基脲(DHEU,4,5-二羟基-2-咪唑啉酮)、二羟甲基亚乙基脲(DMEU,1,3-二羟甲基-2-咪唑啉酮)以及二甲基二羟基亚乙基脲(DDI,4,5-二羟基-1,3-二甲基-2-咪唑啉酮)。
合适的交联剂包括二醛如C2-C8二醛(例如乙二醛),具有至少一个醛基的C2-C8二醛酸类似物,和这些醛和二醛酸类似物的低聚物,如USP4,822,453;4,888,093;4,889,595;4,889,596;4,889,597;和4,898,642中所述的。其他合适的二醛交联剂包括如USP4,853,086;4,900,324;和5,843,061中所述的那些。

合适交联剂包括脲类的乙二醛加合物,例如USP4,968,774,和乙二醛/环状脲加合物,例如USP4,285,690;4,332,586;4,396,391;4,455,416;和4,505,712中所述。
其他合适的交联剂包括羧酸交联剂,例如多羧酸。在USP3,526,048;4,820,307;4,936,865;4,975,209;和5,221,285中描述了多羧酸交联剂(例如,柠檬酸、丙三羧酸和丁四羧酸)和催化剂。USP5,137,537;5,183,707;5,190,563;5,562,740;和5,873,979中描述了含有至少三个羧基的C2-C9多羧酸(例如柠檬酸和氧联二琥珀酸)作为交联剂的应用。
聚合多羧酸也是合适的交联剂。合适的聚合多羧酸交联剂在USP4,391,878;4,420,368;4,431,481;5,049,235;5,160,789;5,442,899;5,698,074;5,496,476;5,496,477;5,728,771;5,705,475;和5,981,739中述及。聚丙烯酸和相关共聚物作为交联剂在USP6,306,251;5,549,791;5,998,511中述及。聚马来酸交联剂在USP5,998,511中述及。
具体的合适的多羧酸交联剂包括柠檬酸、酒石酸、苹果酸、琥珀酸、戊二酸、柠康酸、衣康酸、酒石酸酯单琥珀酸、马来酸、聚丙烯酸、聚甲基丙烯酸、聚马来酸、聚(甲基乙烯基醚-共-马来酸酯)共聚物、聚(甲基乙烯基醚-共-衣康酸酯)共聚物、丙烯酸共聚物、以及马来酸共聚物。

合适的催化剂包括酸性盐如氯化铵,硫酸铵,氯化铝,氯化镁,硝酸镁,以及含磷的酸的碱金属盐。在一个实施方式中,交联催化剂是次磷酸钠。
也可使用交联剂和催化剂的混合物或共混物。
施加于纤维素纤维的交联剂的量应足以导致上述纤维间交联。所述施用于纤维素纤维的用量可是以纤维总重量为基础的大约1重量%至大约10重量%。在一个实施方式中,交联剂用量是以纤维总重量为基础的大约4重量%至大约6重量%。
形成本发明产品的合适的纤维素纤维是本领域的技术人员所熟知的,包括任何能够交联并能够形成纤维网或层的任何纤维或纤维混合物。
虽然可以从其他来源获得,纤维素纤维主要取自木浆。本发明所使用的合适的木浆纤维可以从已知的化学方法,例如存在后续漂白或不漂白的牛皮纸制浆法和亚硫酸盐制浆法获得。也可以使用热机械法,化学热机械法或其组合方法加工浆纤维。优选以化学方法加工浆纤维。也可以使用磨碎木料纤维、回收或二次木浆纤维以及漂白或未漂白的木浆纤维。也可以使用软木或硬木。选择木浆纤维的详细情况是本领域的普通技术人员所知晓的。这些纤维也可以从一些公司购买到,包括本发明的受让人韦尔豪泽公司。例如,本发明可用的由美国长叶松制造的纤维素纤维即可从韦尔豪泽公司购买到,其编号为:CF416,NF405,PL416,FR516和NB416。
本发明可用的木浆纤维也可以在使用前进行预处理。这一预处理可以包括物理处理,例如对纤维进行蒸汽处理或化学处理。
虽然不应解释为限制性内容,纤维预处理的例子包括使用表面活性剂或修饰纤维表面化学性质的其他液体。其他预处理包括添加抗菌剂、颜料、染料、稠化剂或软化剂。也可以使用以其他化学品例如热塑性和热固性树脂预处理的纤维。也可以使用预处理的组合。在形成纤维产品后也可以在后处理过程中进行类似的处理。

合适的热塑性纤维包括以热塑性聚合物涂覆的纤维素纤维和其他纤维,以及其中至少一种组分包括热塑性聚合物的多组分纤维。单组分或多组分纤维可以由聚酯、聚乙烯、聚丙烯和其他传统的热塑性纤维材料制成。单组分和多组分纤维可以从商业渠道获得。合适的双组分纤维包括可以从Hoechst-Celanese Company得到的CELBOND纤维。

Claims (35)
1.制备纤维素纤维产品的方法,包括:
