背景技术
如美国专利№3816304、4902427、5389166和5679251所述的过滤单元,其中活性物质内分散于纤维材料中。内的用吹制的微纤维材料制造弹药筒或过滤袋式过滤单元既经济又极有效。美国专利№4983292描述一个该单元的例子,其内容结合引用于此。但是迄今为止,尚未有将活性物质与这种吹制的微纤维单元结合起来的介绍。所述活性物质通常以粉状或小颗粒形式加入。当所述活性物质加入吹制的微纤维物流中时,与微纤维一起的空气流会吹散活性物质,使活性物质无法沉积到吹制的纤维束上。
发明内容
在本发明中,发现:如果沿横向改变纤维材料物流的方向,空气流就会中断,就可使活性物质在到达旋转筒之前就沉积到材料束上,在所述旋转筒上形成过滤单元。活性物质以该方式夹在纤维材料束的层之间,所述纤维材料束层由熔合形成一体,使活性物质留在形成的过滤单元内。
因此,本发明的一个目的是提供一种吹制的微纤维过滤单元,其内部分散有活性物质。
本发明的另一个目的是提供形成吹制的微纤维过滤单元的方法,所述过滤单元有活性物质层。
本发明的再一个目的是提供用活性物质形成的过滤单元,它的制造很经济。

优选实施方式的描述
图1为过滤单元10的剖面,包括基材12的多重熔合叠层,其中活性物质14呈层状形式。单元10在图中显示为圆筒形式,在本行业内称为弹药筒过滤器。但是,要明白本发明也可应用于袋状过滤器。单元10有空芯16。单元10的最外层和最内层优选仅由基材形成,以便包覆分散在或夹在单元中心部位的基材层间的活性物质14。基材12优选是吹制的微纤维例如聚丙烯纤维。根据过滤单元的预定用途,例如灌溉、施肥、消毒或清洁,活性物质14可以由选择的多种物质构成。例如为了过滤水,活性物质可以是碳颗粒。
图2为制造图1过滤单元的方法。提供了喷嘴18和旋转筒20。通常,在制造弹药筒过滤器过程中,被液化并模铸的基材由喷嘴18吹成细长的多束纤维,卷绕在旋转筒20上,当被加热的纤维束在旋转筒20上卷绕时,丝束间发生间隔的粘结。这就使过滤单元具有多孔的特性。一旦旋转筒20上的材料达到所要求的厚度,就停止从喷嘴18喷出纤维束,从旋转筒上取下卷绕的叠层纤维单元。然后,将狭长的单元沿纵向切成所要求的长度,并合适地包装起来。
在本发明中,例如用辊22进行横向移位,就可中断吹制基材12的通道。当从喷嘴喷出的基材由于这种移位使伴随纤维束的气流中断或改变方向。分配喷嘴24位于辊22与旋转筒20沉积物之间,例如由重力或其他方式使活性物质14以层状形或沉积在基材12丝束上。受控的活性物质14物流沉积到基材丝束上时,不会由于辊22引起的纤维束的改向而被从喷嘴18出来的气流干扰或中断。接着,带有活性物质14层的基材12就卷绕到旋转筒20上,使得当它们在旋转筒20上冷却时,活性物质保留在基材的粘结层之间。通常,过滤单元10是这样形成的:先在旋转筒上卷绕几层基材12,然后加入活性物质14。就在达到过滤单元的最终直径之前,停止往基材丝束上加入活性物质14,使得几束仅是基材的材料卷绕到过滤单元的外层上。活性物质以该方式被限制在可用作预过滤器的纯基材的层间。
能在从旋转筒20上取下单元10之前或之后,用热缩包装塑料施加到狭长的圆筒单元10上包装好形状为狭长圆筒的单元10。然后,一旦所述单元从旋转筒20上取下,就将它切成特定长度。这样,过滤单元的外面就可保持洁净,活性物质不会迁移到单元外面。
本发明的上述主题不局限于上述细节,而可以在所附权利要求的范围内进行改变。
Claims (10)
1.一种过滤单元,它包括多重叠层的纤维材料和施加在所述叠层上的活性物质,所述叠层熔合成一体。
2.如权利要求1所述的单元,其中所述的活性物质是碳。
3.如权利要求2所述的单元,其中所述的纤维材料是塑性的。
4.一种制造过滤单元的方法,它包括如下步骤:
a.提供液态基材;
b.所述基材通过喷嘴形成多个狭长的混合的丝束;
c.在旋转筒上以自粘结的重叠方式卷绕所述丝束,形成过滤单元;
d.在所述喷嘴与旋转筒之间的一个位置上,相对于从所述喷嘴流出的物料束方向,横向改变所述物料束的方向;和
e.在所述位置与所述旋转筒之间,将活性物质沉积到所述物料束上。
5.如权利要求4所述的方法,其中所述的活性物质是碳。
6.如权利要求5所述的方法,其中所述的基材是塑性的。
7.如权利要求6所述的方法,其中所述的基材是聚丙烯。
8.如权利要求4所述的方法,其中所述的步骤e形成所述的狭长圆筒状的过滤单元,然后,用包装材料包装所述的仍在所述圆筒上的过滤单元,从圆筒上取下所述已包装的过滤单元,并将它切成所选择的长度的组件。
9.如权利要求4所述的方法,它还包括这样的步骤:将所述物料丝束连续卷绕到所述旋转筒上时,使所述活性物质非连续地沉积到所述物料丝束上,在所述单元外面形成仅有所述基材的多丝束材料。
10.一种制造过滤单元的方法,它包括如下步骤:
a.提供液态基材;
b.所述基材在空气流作用下从喷嘴喷出,形成多个狭长的混合的丝束;
c.在旋转筒上以自粘结的重叠方式卷绕所述丝束,形成过滤单元;
d.离开所述喷嘴后,在喷嘴与旋转筒之间的位置上中断所述气流;
e.在所述位置与所述旋转筒之间,将活性物质沉积到所述物料丝束上。
