Description
本发明涉及一种活性炭,特别是涉及一种成型活性炭。
活性炭是一种吸附能力很强的非极性吸附剂,广泛地应用于分离、废水处理和净化等方面,它通常为粉状,称为活性炭粉。用活性炭粉作吸附剂,吸附容易,要把它与分离后的产品分开比较困难,从而使其使用受到限制。在专利号为JP2825146的专利中披露了一种吸附材料,它把活性炭纤维和聚四氟乙烯纤维树脂结合在一起,便于吸附后的分离,但其生产成本太高,价格昂贵,并且在高温下还易燃。
本发明的目的是提供一种成型活性炭及其制造方法,它能克服现有技术的上述不足。

本发明的成型活性炭具有一定弹性和机械强度,易与被处理物分离,使用方便,并且成本低,高温条件下也不易燃。
下面通过实施例说明本发明。
取活性炭粉100克、蒸馏水30克和60%的聚四氟乙烯乳液15克,将它们混合,搅拌均匀,在80℃条件下用炼胶机加压处理,在105℃下去水2小时即得到薄片状的成型活性炭,外面是聚四氟乙烯形成的纤维网,活性炭粉被网在其中。
用本发明的产品与活性炭粉对废水中的氯乙烯进行对照吸附实验,发现其吸附能力约为活性炭粉的96%,即成型后其吸附能力稍有降低,但使用比活性炭粉方便得多。
