Abstract

Description

综合话音邮件业务与电视功能的通信设备
本发明涉及一个通信系统，该系统包括与宽带分布式网络及电话网络相连接的一个通信设备，这个通信设备包括从宽带分布式系统接收的信号产生出音频信号的装置和将音频信号送到音频信号输出口的装置。
本发明还涉及一个通信设备和包括这种通信设备的电视接收机。
根据序言的通信系统已在EN301 195“数字视频广播(DVB)，通过全球移动通信系统交互式信道”中知道了。
目前，很多国家主要依据DVB(数字视频广播)或ATSC(先进电视系统委员会)标准来配置数字电视系统。每一种标准都提供引入交互式业务的可能性。这种交互式业务可包括但不限于视频点播、按次付费电视、家中购物及游戏等等。为了能够引入这些交互式业务，需要通信设备能经过返回信道向服务器传送控制消息。上面的标准中建议用电话网如GSM网作为返回信道。
本发明的一个目的是提供根据序言的附加业务的通信系统。
为了达到上述目的，本发明的特征在于该通信设备包括话音信号接收装置，用于从电话网中接收话音信号，该通信设备还包括存储装置，用于存储话音信号，检索装置，用于将信号从存储装置中检索存储的话音信号，和供给装置，用于给音频输出提供检索的话音信号。
通过这些措施，该通信系统可以提供话音邮件业务，可以从电话网络中接收话音信号或消息，例如当系统用户不在时，消息可以存储在存储装置中。并且，最好在用户的要求下可从存储装置中检索这些存储的话音信号并提供给音频输出，这样用户就可以在方便的时候再听这些信息。
本发明的实施例的特征在于该通信装置包括信令装置，用于发信号通知存储的话音信号的存在。通过引入该信令装置，用户可以很简便地知道是否存储了话音信号或消息。
本发明的另一个实施例的特征在于TV接收机包括通信设备。这样可以提供一个完整的综合话音邮件和TV的功能。
发明将参照附图做进一步地说明。
图1表示本发明的第一实施例的方框图。
图2表示本发明的第二个实施例的方框图。
根据图1的该通信系统中，通信设备2的第一个端口与宽带分布式网络经由天线4相连。该通信设备可以是一个与TV接收机3一块使用的机顶盒。可以选择地，通信设备也可能集成到TV接收机。在这种情况下分布式网络是地面信道或卫星信道，如DVB-T或DVB-S。宽带分布式网络也可以是一个CATV分布式网络。通信设备2的第二个端口经由天线35与移动无线电话网络相连接。
通信设备2的第一个端口与前端6的输入口相连接。前端6的输出与一个信道解码器10的输入相连接，该信道解码器由前端6的输出信号导出数字符号流(已纠错)。例如，解码器10的输出信号可以是一个MPEG-2传输流。
解码器10的输出端与处理器12相连。在使用MPEG-2信号的情况下，处理器12用于提取并解码MPEG-2传输流传送的视频信号。处理器12用于从MPEG-2传输流中提取控制信息并读取用户从用户接口7输入的命令。
通信设备2输出的解码的音频和视频信号提供给TV接收机3以便重放。在交互式电视系统中，通常机顶盒2的信号必须传送到前端以便控制从宽带分布式网络接收的信号。这种控制信号可以包括从VOD服务中选择一个特定节目的信号或者在脉串按次付费电视系统的情况下向前端传送时间标记。这些传送的信号通过接入控制设备30和转换装置32加到收发器34。收发器34经电话网把控制信号发送到前端。
如果收发器34在传送数据期间，电话机22被激活以便建立一个电话呼叫，这是经过接入控制装置30发送信号到处理器12。然后处理器12通过收发器34传送目前的命令，随后停止向前端的呼叫以便释放电话路线，利用电话机22进行呼叫。
随后，处理器12向TV接收机发送一个消息通知在电话呼叫过程中一些命令无法发送。例如，按次付费电视计费脉串的一些信息在电话线路再次可用之前可能暂时存储在机顶盒2里。处理器还通知用户在电话呼叫结束时可以重新获得这些业务。
在根据图1的通信系统中，移动无线网络用作电话网。另外，可使用有线电话网如POTS或PSTN网。而且，电话网也可以是和宽带分布式网络一样的，也就是说，同一个物理网络用来分配带宽信号和传送电话信号。这种组合的宽带分布式/电话网络的一个例子是CATV网。
图1中，电话终端22与用户线接口(SLIC)21相连接。机顶盒包括用于连接有线电话机的RJ 11连接器。用户线路接口21用来向电话终端22提供电源和信号音。机顶盒还包括一个检测电话终端什么时候摘机的装置。用户线接口21还包括一个模数转换器和一个数模转换器。模数转换器用来将从电话终端接收的模拟信号转换成数字信号以便在移动无线网上传输。数模转换器用来将从移动无线网接收的数字信号转换成模拟信号传送给电话终端22。对本领域的技术人员来说，用户线路接口是集成电路市场上容易买到的普通器件。
接入控制装置30用来选择处理器12输出的控制信号和来自/到用户线路接口21的信号。从接入控制装置30输出的信号被发送到转换装置32中，转换装置32将这些信号转换成适合在电话网中传输的信号。转换装置32执行的操作包括：装配包含待发送的信号的帧，以及在帧中加适当的标题信号使其符合移动无线系统的运行标准。这些标准例如可以是GSM标准。在转换器的输出的转换信号传送到收发器34，收发器将这些信号通过天线35传送给移动无线网络。天线35还用来从无线通信网中接收信号。这些信号被指定用于处理器12或者电话终端22。收发器34从移动无线网中接收信号并将其传送给转换器32。转换器32把从收发器34传来的数据转换成适合于接入控制器30选择的设备的格式。
通信设备2包括存储装置50，例如固态存储器，硬盘驱动器，磁带或光带驱动器或者光盘。存储器50可以存储收发器34从电话网中接收的话音信号或者消息。这些接收的话音信号由处理器12从收发器34经过转换器32和接入控制器30传送到存储装置50。存储的话音信号，例如可在由用户接口7输入的请求下由处理器12从存储装置50检索出并经由音频视频后端传送到TV接收机3以便重放。通过这种方式，这个通信系统提供话音邮箱功能。
通信设备2可包括信令装置，用来通知存储的话音信号的存在，该信令装置可包括位于通信设备2外面的发光二极管或者灯。处理器12可以在TV接收机3上显示消息，通知在存储设备50上有存储的话音信号。
通信设备2还可以进一步包括一个用来控制例如音频系统，VCR等等的一些设备的室内RF(射频)单元34。这样，接入控制装置30也可以用来选择室内RF(射频)单元34作为与转换装置32相连的信源或者目的地。
在根据图2的通信系统中，与电话终端22的连接也可用无线进行。为此目的DECT基站31与接入控制系统装置30相连。根据图3的装置有很多天线。这些天线可以用合适的耦合装置组合成单个的天线以便与DECT收发器31，室内RF收发器42和GSM收发器耦合。这些耦合装置可以包括多个带通滤波器，用于将不同的RF信号分离。当然，DECT收发器31、室内RF收发器42和GSM收发器的频率是不同的。
本发明的范围不仅仅限于具体公开的实施例。本发明以每个新的特征和与该特征的每个组合实现。任何参考符号不限定权利要求的范围。词“包括”并不排除权利要求中列出的其它单元和步骤的存在。在单元前使用的词“一个”不排除多个这样的单元的存在。

Claims (8)

1、一个通信系统包括一个与宽带分布式网络和电话网络相耦合的通信设备，该通信设备包括将从宽带分布式网络接收的信号产生出一个音频信号的设备，将音频信号提供给音频输出的装置，其特征在于：上述的通信设备包括从电话网接收话音信号的话音信号接收装置，所述的通信设备还包括存储话音信号的存储设备，对存储装置中的话音信号进行提取的提取装置，供给装置，将提取的话音信号送给音频输出。
2、根据权利要求1的通信系统，其特征在于：所述的通信设备根据用户的要求对存储在存储设备中的话音信号进行提取。
3、根据权利要求1或2的通信系统，其特征在于：所述的通信设备包括信令装置，用于通知用户是否存有话音信息。
4、根据权利要求1-3任意一个的通信系统，其特征在于一个TV接收机包括上述的通信设备。
5、一个通信设备，包括用来从宽带分布式网络接收信号的第一端口，和用来与电话网相耦合的第二端口，上述的通信设备包括将从宽带分布式网络接收的信号派生出一个音频信号的设备，还包括将音频信号提供给音频输出的装置，其特征在于：上述的通信设备包括从电话网接收话音信号的话音信号接收装置，所述的通信设备还包括存储话音信号的存储设备，对存储装置中的话音信号进行提取的提取装置，供给装置，将提取的话音信号供给给音频输出。
6、根据权利要求5的通信系统，其特征在于：所述的通信设备根据用户的要求对存储在存储设备中的话音信号进行提取。
7、根据权利要求5或6的通信系统，其特征在于：所述的通信设备包括信令装置，用于通知用户是否存有存储的话音信息。
8、根据权利要求5-7任意一个的通信系统，其特征在于一个TV接收机包括说述的通信设备。
