Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明涉及高尔夫球杆,特别涉及一种高尔夫球杆头,该高尔夫球杆头在两种不同球杆头材料之间有隔离层,以使球员击球时得心应手。
现有技术
由于轻击球对球员总分的重要性,过去和将来人们始终努力设计优越的轻击杆。优越的轻击杆设计应包括使用起来得心应手之类主观特性和性能之类客观特性。高尔夫球杆制造商一般根据球员试用后的反馈意见决定轻击杆使用起来是否最得心应手,而根据测量值确定实际性能是否得到改进。
高尔夫球员公认,如高尔夫球起初的回旋或侧滑很小或不发生回旋,高尔夫球的滚动更精确和一致,因为回旋或侧滑会造成高尔夫球的路线无法控制。高尔夫球一旦停止回旋和/或侧滑而开始向前滚动,其路线就可预知。
通过设计出重心降低的轻击杆,制造商已能制造出更可能赋予受轻击的高尔夫球以向前旋转分量的轻击杆。这可用所谓的垂直就绪效应予以解释。在高尔夫运动中大家对就绪效应一词是很熟悉的。制造商在为获得所需的就绪效应而致力于设计重心降低的轻击杆头时认识到,如轻击杆头只用一种材料制成,不是很难把重心降低到足够低,就是轻击杆头的尺寸比例很难符合要求。因此,为了设计出重心低,同时尺寸比例又保持不变的轻击杆头,制造商开始使用密度不同的材料。
在致力于设计优越轻击杆时,本申请的发明人为获得优越的客观特性而在轻击杆表面中嵌入市场上获得成功的Stronomic聚合物镶块,同时使用密度不同的材料降低轻击杆重心,以在轻击高尔夫球时获得符合要求的垂直就绪效应。
但是,这一设计经球员试用后,他们都抱怨该轻击杆使用时感觉不舒服。本发明即得自于对造成这一主观特性的原因的追究。
本发明概述
经大量试验和分析,本发明人得出如下结论,使用密度不同材料轻击杆时感觉不舒服的一个可能原因是,不同材料在击球时生成的振动频率型式不同。不同振动频率的这一频谱或合成所生成的频率型式经该轻击杆的一柄和抓手(感觉振动)和经空气(听觉振动或声音)传至球员。所生成的这一频率频谱或型式可看作是造成感觉不舒服的原因。根据这一结论,单种材料轻击杆使用起来比由密度不同材料构成的轻击杆更得心应手的一个可能原因是,在单种材料轻击杆中,只生成一种冲击振动频率型式,因此不可能发生不同振动频率型式的“感觉不舒服”的合成(或在有镶块轻击杆的情况下,镶块材料和球杆头材料的振动频率型式的合成生成“感觉舒服”的振动频率型式)。
因此,本发明人设计一种使用密度不同的材料的轻击杆头。但是,为隔离不同材料的冲击振动频率型式或防止其合成,本发明一优选实施例在密度不同的材料之间设置一隔离层。
确切说,在本发明轻击杆头设计的一优选实施例中,轻击杆头由不锈钢和钨组成。该隔离层由尿烷制成。在一优选实施例中,轻击杆表面由一聚合物镶块构成。尽管使用密度不同的材料设计具有聚合物表面镶块的轻击杆,但如经球员试用和Odyssey Stronomic镶块轻击杆在市场上获得成功所表明的那样,不锈钢和聚合物镶块的冲击振动频率型式的合成所生成的振动频率型式的感觉很舒服。应该指出,具有表面镶块的轻击杆不限于聚合物表面镶块。除了各种聚合物,表面镶块材料可包括各种陶瓷和金属。可根据使用起来是否得心应手和性能之类特性选择表面镶块材料。
所设计和制作的具有一隔离层的双材料高尔夫球杆头经球员试用后证实,该轻击杆设计的主观特性比原有设计有所改进。不管现有设计感觉不舒服的理论原因是否正确,球员对本发明轻击杆试用后证实,在密度不同的材料之间设置隔离层可提高轻击杆的得心应手之类主观特性。
隔离层对双材料高尔夫球杆头还具有其他作用。在制作双金属结构、这两金属区直接接触的高尔夫球杆头样品时,某些高尔夫球杆头样品在这两种金属之间显示出流电/金属间化合反应。该反应的严重程度决定于接触的这两种金属的亲和性。该流电/金属间化合反应使得该双金属高尔夫球杆头的外观在这两种金属的接合处出现瑕疵。因此,隔离层的另一个优点是减小这两种金属之间发生流电/金属间化合反应。
除了本发明的隔离层原理,该轻击杆头的一优选实施例包括一由三个小面构成的底面。与各种底面的小面位于棒杆弯头到球棒尖的方向上的现有技术不同,该优选实施例的各小面位于底面的前部到后部方向上。前部小面和后部小面向上与中心小面成一角度,防止前边缘或后边缘碰到轻击表面。该中心小面位于轻击杆头重心紧下方,所成角度在把轻击杆头置于准备击球位置时轻击杆头倾向于支撑在其中心小面上,从而使轻击面位于其最佳准备击球位置。这一独特底面结构在示出隔离层的各附图中进一步予以说明。
因此,本发明的一个目的是说明一种显示出优越主观和客观特性的轻击杆头。本发明的另一个目的是说明一种显示出优越性能、球员使用起来非常得心应手的轻击杆头。本发明的又一个目的是说明一种重心很低、以获得所需垂直就绪效应的轻击杆头。本发明的另一个目的是说明一种使用密度不同的材料,同时在这些密度不同材料之间使用隔离层减小各种材料的冲击振动频率型式的合成的轻击杆头。

本发明最佳实施方式
在本发明整个详细说明过程中本发明高尔夫球杆头的相同部件用同一标号表示。
图1为一高尔夫球杆头10的后视立体图,该高尔夫球杆头10包括一主体12、一隔离层14和一加重体16。主体12由具有第一密度的第一材料制成,加重体16由具有第二密度的第二材料制成,第二密度比第一密度高。在一优选实施例中,第一材料为密度约为7.8克/立方厘米的不锈钢,第二材料为密度约为17克/立方厘米的钨合金,隔离层14为尿烷。根据球杆头10所需重心位置,在一优选实施例中,加重体16的重量可为主体12重量的5%-300%,即加重体16的重量可为主体12的三倍或上述范围中的任一百分比。
如上所述,隔离层14的作用是尽量减小主体12和加重体16的冲击振动频率型式的合成。隔离层14的厚度可视所选择材料在隔离或减小多个冲击振动频率型式的合成的有效性而变。可起这一作用的任何材料、包括各种聚合物、金属和陶瓷可用作隔离层14的优选材料。
在一优选实施例中,尿烷隔离层的优选厚度为.020-.100英寸,更好为.030-.040英寸,最好为约.035英寸。如上所述,隔离层14的厚度为所选择材料的有效性的函数。但是,隔离层14的厚度也取决于美观因素。由于隔离层14可制成其颜色与主体12和加重体16相区分,因此希望使用使球杆头的外观显得漂亮的厚度。例如,在(图5所示)球杆头10的俯视图中,可看到隔离层14与球杆头10的击球路线相平行。因此,隔离层14的厚度应能使球员可把它用作瞄准装置。
本发明球杆头10还包括主体12的一后部18、一弯头部20、一棒尖部22、一顶部24、一底部26和一插口28。插口28用来连接该球杆头10和一柄(未示出)。应该指出,球杆头10的主体12和加重体16可由一个或多个独立部分构成。例如,加重体16可由多个独立片材构成,例如作为两个独立部分装在主体12上的一弯头部(未示出)和一棒尖部(未示出)。在这一实施例中,隔离层14相应在一个或多个主体12与加重体16部分之间形成隔离。因此,术语“主体”12和“加重体”16包括这样的实施例,在这些实施例中,主体12包括一个或多个部分以及/或者加重体16包括一个或多个部分。

图9为本发明球杆头10的仰视分解立体图。主体12在完成制作前包括一表面凹座48,该凹座中在制作完成后为一聚合物表面镶块32填满(从图2可看得最清楚)。图9所示主体12为沿图3中9-9线剖取的剖面图。主体12还包括第一和第二主体螺纹孔52(未示出)和54以及第一和第二主体对准孔64(未示出)和66。隔离层14还包括第一和第二隔离层螺纹孔56和58以及第一和第二隔离层对准孔68和70。加重体16还包括第一和第二加重体螺纹盲孔60和62以及第一和第二加重体对准盲孔72和74。
在一优选实施例中,如下装配主体12、加重体16和隔离层14。把隔离层14放置在主体12后部18与加重体16之间。最好采用涂有粘胶的隔离层,以使主体12和加重体16相对于隔离层14的定位是一件容易的工作。第一对准销42穿过表面凹座48、第一主体对准孔64、第一隔离层对准孔68并插入第一加重体对准盲孔72中,第二对准销43穿过表面凹座48、第二主体对准孔66、第二隔离层对准孔70后插入第二加重体对准盲孔74中。这一过程确保主体12、隔离层14和加重体16的周边对齐后才用螺丝旋紧。
下一步包括把第一螺丝40穿过表面凹座48、第一主体螺纹孔52、第一隔离层螺纹孔56后旋入第一加重体螺纹盲孔60中,把第二螺丝41穿过表面凹座48、第二主体螺纹孔54、第二隔离层螺纹孔58后旋入第二加重体螺纹盲孔62中。然后,分别旋紧第一和第二螺丝40和41,经隔离层14把加重体16紧固到主体12上。
此外,尽管上述优选实施例使用对准销和螺丝经隔离层14连接主体12与加重体16,但应该指出,在高尔夫球杆头的制作和设计中可使用任何连接这些部件的公知方法。例如可用焊接、钎焊、压入配合、粘接或把这些部件模塑在一起,对准销和螺丝也可从加重体16穿过隔离层14后插入主体12中。
Claims (11)
1、一种高尔夫球杆头,包括:
一由第一材料制成的主体,
一由第二材料制成的加重体,
一由第三材料制成的隔离层,
该高尔夫球杆头进一步包括一击球前部、一后部、一弯头部、一棒尖部、一顶部和一底部,以及
该加重体装在该主体上,该隔离层介于该加重体与该主体之间。
2、按权利要求1所述的高尔夫球杆头,其特征在于,第一材料为不锈钢。
3、按权利要求1所述的高尔夫球杆头,其特征在于,第一材料为钛。
4、按权利要求1所述的高尔夫球杆头,其特征在于,第二材料为钨。
5、按权利要求1所述的高尔夫球杆头,其特征在于,第一材料为不锈钢,第二材料为钨。
6、按权利要求1所述的高尔夫球杆头,其特征在于,第一材料为钛,第二材料为钨。
7、按权利要求1所述的高尔夫球杆头,其特征在于,第一材料具有第一密度,第二材料具有第二密度,第一密度比第二密度低。
8、按权利要求7所述的高尔夫球杆头,其特征在于,该击球前部还包括一聚合物表面镶块。
9、按权利要求1所述的高尔夫球杆头,其特征在于,该隔离层包括尿烷。
10、按权利要求1所述的高尔夫球杆头,还包括一或多个螺丝,其中通过一或多个螺丝把加重体连接于主体,以隔离层介于加重体与主体之间。
