Abstract

本发明属于晶体制备装置技术领域,涉及到一种制备氧化镁单晶的电熔装置,特别涉及到一种制备氧化镁单晶的直流电弧炉。其特征是本发明电弧炉的炉壳为中间带有气隙的双层椭圆柱形结构,电弧加热系统由直流冶炼电源、电极升降系统以及两根垂直安装的石墨电极构成,整个炉体为立式结构。本发明的效果和益处是电弧炉能够大幅度提高氧化镁晶体的产量和质量,同时降低了对电网的冲击,提高了电能的利用率。另外,本发明也可适用于生产其他高温晶体。

技术领域
本发明属于晶体制备装置技术领域,涉及到一种制备氧化镁单晶的电熔装置,特别涉及到一种制备氧化镁单晶的直流电弧炉。
背景技术
氧化镁单晶的透光性好、熔点高、热膨胀系数低、机械强度和硬度高、介电损耗低是现代工业不可多得的高性能材料。
目前的工业生产中,主要利用圆柱形炉体的三相交流电弧炉来制备氧化镁单晶。这种晶体生产装置的主要缺点是热效率低,晶体产率低,电极消耗大,电压波动大对电网冲击严重。
发明内容
本发明的目的是提供一种制备氧化镁单晶的电弧加热装置,以提高晶体产率和热效率,降低成本和对电网的冲击。
本发明的技术方案为:炉壳为中间带有气隙的双层椭圆柱形结构,电弧加热系统由直流冶炼电源、电极升降机构以及两根垂直安装的石墨电极构成,两根电极分别位于椭圆柱形炉壳的两个焦点处,整个炉体为立式结构。
本发明的有益效果为:直流电弧加热系统能够显著地降低电极消耗,减小电压波动和对电网的冲击,中间带有气隙的双层椭圆形炉壳可以有效减少热量损失,改善炉内晶体生长温度场并提高晶体产率和热效率,分别布置在椭圆柱形炉壳两个焦点上的两根石墨电极可以使电弧的热量分布更加均匀,并有效避免炉壳局部过热现象的发生。

具体实施方式
下面结合技术方案和附图详细叙述本发明的具体实施例。
炉壳为椭圆柱形结构,炉壳内壁5由不锈钢板制成,炉壳外壁6为玻璃钢制成,两层炉壳之间有气隙7存在,两根石墨电极3分别布置在椭圆柱形炉壳的两个焦点处,电网给直流冶炼电源1供电,电能通过水冷电缆2传递给石墨电极3,电极升降机构4可以完成电极在炉中的升降动作。
在相同的原料和电能消耗的情况下,本电弧炉的晶体产量和质量较普通电弧炉都有大幅度的提高。另外,本发明电弧炉对电网的冲击小,炉壳受热均匀,不易损坏。

Claims (2)

1.一种制备氧化镁单晶的直流电弧炉,由炉壳,直流冶炼电源(1),水冷电缆(2),两根石墨电极(3),电极升降机构(4)构成,其特征是:炉壳为双层椭圆柱形结构,内炉壳(5)和外炉壳(6)之间存在气隙(7)。
2.根据权利要求1所述的制备氧化镁单晶的直流电弧炉,其特征是:两根石墨电极分别布置在椭圆柱形炉壳的两个焦点处。
