本发明总体上涉及一种用于从气态散发物中去除臭味的设备,特别是设计一种用于处理合成工厂污气的臭味控制系统。
              本发明的技术背景
诸如食品加工、化学生产和固体废物合成等工业生产过程长期以来一直受到臭味产生和挥发性有机化合物(VOC’s)释放的困扰。虽然现在已有多种化学净气和气体处理方法,但它们很少能同时有效和负担得起。
本发明部分地组合了诸如混凝土农场筒仓等现有可行且负担得起的结构中的技术。通过将多种臭味控制技术用于一种紧凑的圆筒形结构中,产生了一种经济且高效的臭味消减系统,该系统在与一种独特的换气系统组合使用时,可以同时对污气和有害臭味进行稀释和分散。
                  本发明概述
处于完全集成形式的本发明包含一个混凝土筒仓,其在本发明中用作一个具有额定高度50至100英尺的烟囱。这样的一个结构可以用于稀释和分散臭味污气,其功能早已被认识到,并在数十年来一直作为污染补救的基础设施而用于动力厂以及其它化学和尘土产生地。在筒仓的顶部安装着一个直升飞机规模的风扇。该元件的添加使得风扇叶片之上伸出了一个20至30倍于风扇直径的竖直换气塔,从而有效地使烟囱的高度增加了400至500英尺。此外,风扇可以具有高达850,000 cfm的设计输出能力,这样可以将污气稀释于在体积上多达二十倍的新鲜空气中。
筒仓通过加入了多层填塞垫干式和湿式净气器而增强了臭味去除能力。筒仓中附加构造出一个氧化室。容易理解,通过易氧化液体媒质,可以最快速地实现有机化合物的氧化。填塞垫湿式生物净气器中的液体快速循环可以导致空气以高流率通过,从而使液体中饱和氧气。由于所述系统中会产生大体积的生物量,因此筒仓中构造了一个下部室,其用作泥渣沉淀罐。过多的生物量将下沉到该室的底部并在此聚集成泥渣。而泥渣则又被虹吸出来而作为生物固体被处理。

              优选实施例详细说明
请参考附图,其中显示了一个用于每分钟处理50,000至75,000立方英尺臭味污气的系统。一个直升飞机规模的风扇1被设计得能够获得高达20比1的稀释系数,并具有每分钟850,000立方英尺的设计输出能力。筒仓2如前所述由混凝土或钢构成,并且额定直径为20英尺而高度为50至100英尺。在其高度的中央安置着一个喷洒嘴3,其覆盖在一个占据了4至6英寸筒仓高度的填塞垫生物净气器4的上方。图示的填塞垫生物净气器作为一个单层装置,但也可以根据需要而在筒仓的高度上多次复制,以获得必需的阻滞时间。
在填塞垫生物净气器的下面安置着一个湿式净气器,其包含一个配水系统5、一个填塞垫湿式净气器6以及一个高流速循环泵7。当填塞垫湿式净气器在接近于泛流垫状态下操作时,现已知能够去除高达50%的容纳在空气流中的VOC’s。两个填塞垫生物净气器均装有合成媒质,该媒质具有高表面面积、在90+%范围内的高空隙空间以及敞开结构,因而不会被不可避免地生长于媒质结构中的生物量阻塞。如前所述,密闭结构优选具有圆柱形的形状。每个生物净气器均充填了诸如Pall Ring、Tellerette或Jaeger三重填塞式媒质等装置,以提供宽阔表面面积,而且在填塞垫的情况下,湿式净气器6可以导致水的级联分散,以形成水垫而使VOC’s的吸收最优化。接下来,从湿式生物净气器中发出的气体会先经过生物净气器4,之后再进入风扇1所产生的空气流,以被稀释和高度分散。
如前所述,上述系统中的阻滞时间可以调节,以获得所需的VOC去除度。10秒钟的阻滞时间可以确保初次去除高达50%的VOC。而50秒钟的阻滞时间可以去除90-95%的VOC。
净气器覆盖在一个氧化室8的上方,该氧化室的底部装有一个泥渣沉淀罐9。需要被处理的污气从一个空气进入管10输入。如前所述,高度氧化室将产生大量的生物量,它们将作为泥渣而下沉到氧化室的底部并被图中所示的一个泥渣排出管11定期从罐中抽出。
应当理解,虽然前面通过一个特定应用方式而对本发明进行了显示和描述,但是在不脱离附属权利要求中所确定的本发明的实际精神的前提下,可以对这里所描述的用于控制臭味的方法和设备进行修改,以满足各种不同环境需要。

Claims (5)

1.用于为气态污物除臭的装置,其包含:一个竖直定向的圆筒形结构,其带有沿其高度方向相隔布置的至少一个生物净气器和一个湿式净气器;一个容纳着液体媒质并安置在上述净气器下方的氧化室;用于在至少一个上述净气器中循环液体媒质的装置;一个位于氧化室下方的泥渣沉淀罐;用于将泥渣从沉淀罐中去除的装置;用于将需要除臭的气态污物引入上述圆筒形结构并从中通过的装置;以及用于将污气从上述净气器中抽出并将除臭后的污气稀释并分散到大气中的风扇装置。
2.根据权利要求1所述的除臭装置,其特征在于,上述圆筒形结构包含一个内径为大约20英尺而高度为50至100英尺的筒仓。
3.根据权利要求1所述的除臭装置,其特征在于,上述风扇装置包含一个直升机型的风扇,其能够在风扇叶片之上产生一个20至30倍于风扇直径的有效烟囱高度。
4.根据权利要求3所述的除臭装置,其特征在于,上述风扇装置能够将结构中发出的气态污物稀释高达大约20倍。
5.用于为污气除臭的装置,其包含:一个竖直定向的结构,其带有沿其高度方向相隔布置的至少一个生物过滤器和一个湿式净气器;一个容纳着液体媒质并安置在上述净气器下方的氧化室;用于在上述净气器中循环液体媒质的装置;一个泥渣沉淀罐;用于将需要除臭的气态污物引入上述结构并从中通过的装置;以及用于将污气从上述过滤器和净气器中抽出以将除臭后的污气稀释并分散到大气中的风扇装置。
