本发明涉及权利要求1的前序部分叙述的一种设备。德国公开说明书3613585A1公开了一种用于视频电话的用户设备,特别是其为在双向通信中最优使用的机械设置。这种设备可传输声音以及像图画等物体的图象。先进的数字技术允许这种以及类似设备微型化。然而,已知的设备由于其内在需要大的框架结构而不能使自己微型化。
因此,除别的事项外,本发明的一个目的是变换已知设备的固定而笨重的结构为灵活而容易使用的安排,以便给用户确切指示一个确定的目标区域,同时保持用户接口尽可能友好。
因此,根据本发明的一个方面,本发明的特征在于权利要求1的特征部分。本设备的基本功能可以是存储多个数据项的组织器(organizer),这些数据项可以伴随有图象,或者是通信设备,诸如可以包括一个轻便而易用的传真装置的移动电话。本发明其它优点方面在从属权利要求中叙述。一般说,本发明人认识到在本设备中具有一个摄像机要比需要一个分离的传真机或类似摄像机驱动设备更加有用。特别是,该机构可以集成到未来的设备中,从而允许在用户之间实时交换信息。最后,通过使用HTML语言也可以使因特网交换连接受益。
下面参考优选实施例的公开、特别参考附图详细说明本发明的这些和另外的方面和优点,附图中:
图1表示根据本发明的移动电话的前盖;
图2表示同一装置的后盖;
图3表示根据本发明的设备的方框图;

图1表示根据本发明的移动电话的前盖。因为移动电话已经通用一些时间,因此这里不准备专门公开其电话功能。键盘控制和信息传输两者都可以是数字的。这种设备和传真机构的结合常规上需要一个分开安放的机械扫描仪来获取图象,还需要一个物理通信层以允许在手机和计算机之间传输该图象数据。事实上,需要如下很不方便的步骤:
使用扫描仪获取图象并存储在计算机硬盘中;
连接手机到计算机;
通过安装在手机内的软件传输该图象。
应该清楚,这是一个复杂的过程。本发明避免了这些复杂动作。图1中,外壳20近似常规大小。它有12个常规电话控制键22和4个特殊功能键30。后者特别控制在电话和传真功能之间的切换,和设定图象敏感级别。在另外的环境中,这些键可以包括字母键以输入文字元素,或者甚至或多或少完全的字母数字键盘。还另外示出天线24、显示屏26和放大镜28。天线允许在合适的范围内无线通信。摄像机安装在后侧,参见图2,无论是摄取还是取自存储器的小图象均显示在屏幕26上。作为光通道终端部分的放大镜28允许立即检查摄像机有效“看”到的内容。比较图象26和28将告诉用户摄取的图象质量是否足以保证对其进一步的处理。放大镜的另一个用途是检查图象是否可以,并仅在激动生效键时才存储该图象。
图2表示根据本发明的移动电话的后盖。该图表示外壳20和天线24和另外的微型摄像机32以及图1的放大镜的光学物镜34。另一可选方案为,放大镜可以基于作为摄像机的同一物镜,参见图3。通过一个适当的按钮(该按钮未特别指示)调整该摄像机的轴向和焦点。对小页传真应用,其有效范围在10-20厘米之间变化,对翻动式(flipovers)及类似介质变化范围为1-2米。
图3表示根据本发明的设备的数据处理设置的方框图。已经示出摄像机46是一个自支持子系统,它包括为执行扫描功能的所有需要的电子器件。放大镜44接收未处理图象供用户立即检查。元件48变换模拟摄像机信号为数字化样本。元件50形成DSP内核和顶行的外围设备40-46之间的接口。其中,天线40允许在所示设备和另一个站诸如基站之间双向通信。屏幕42显示摄取的模拟场景的数字化图象。中央处理由DSP内核58进行,它包括各种应用软件模块以操作图象编码器64、信道编码器62以及加密和脉冲串构建。这3种相继操作,以变换数字化图象为数据流,其为通过天线40无线传输而优化,诸如按照MPEG4或GIF格式。另外的系统软件模块是为同步和监视的元件66、实现对系统控制器接口的元件68和实现各种杂项功能的元件70。各种杂项功能的例子例如有滤除白噪声、图象分段和轮廓检测,以及其它图象增强功能,它们自身可能不构成本发明的部分。DSP另外与通用系统控制和数据总线52连接。该总线还与包括图示RAM和ROM的存储器设施54连接,最后还与代表系统CPU的元件56连接,另外的外围设备此间未示出。
激活生效键产生对CPU56的一个中断调用。随即一个驻留ROM程序被驱动而执行下述功能:
显示一个选择菜单,允许驱动下述功能之一:给终端用户传真机发送静止图象,给终端用户移动电话或具有因特网连接的计算机发送动画图象,诸如通过与计算机的连接在硬盘上保存该静止或动画图象,同时允许为该动画图象选择图象分辨率和声音混合。
根据选择采样该两维图象。
在每一种场合,图象都在屏幕上显示,指示的尺寸可以大于或不大于放大镜。
图4是该设备在操作下的印迹的透视图。摄像机视场受到激光照射元件装置的限制,其在该场合下在围绕要摄取的图象的范围形成矩形的连续光线。可以通过延长发光元件实现光线显示的形成。可以通过在延长激光的前面和顺着延长的方向上放置线性透镜实现在窄条内光能量的集中。另一可选方案为,在点形激光前面的散光透镜可以产生所谈激光的延长图象。通过采用中断线图象以代替连续线可以降低能量消耗;为进一步降低能量消耗,以时分复用组织给激光器供电。另一可选方案为,该视场的周边可以由一系列小点指示,例如每边8点。在极端情况下,点数可以仅在每角一个,带或不带成像透镜。当然非矩形的其它视场形状也适宜。
虽然上面特别对于移动电话设备的应用进行了详细叙述,但是各种可选的应用也是适宜的。首先,语音信道不是必需的,以便通信可以更宽;可以扩展到图象和数据,或者图象传输可以在单一设备中与声音和数据传输两者结合。另外,本发明可以应用于其基本功能为数据存储但可以与图象传输结合的组织器或类似设备。这种组织器自身有广泛应用,例如管理约会、地址文件和另外的个人文件,以及存放通常只有有限大小的事项。在这种场合,所传输的图象可以由从存储在一个数据库中的合适的项目补充。

Claims (8)

1.一种面向数字键盘的设备,包括多键数据和控制输入设备的互连装置、显示设备、通信设备、数据处理设备和可切换以供给所述通信设备的摄像设备,
其特征在于,所述设备是手持式,给所述摄像设备提供光输出设备以通过一个或者多个视觉指示符定界小范围图象摄取区域,所述通信设备是无线式的。
2.如权利要求1所述设备,且具有组织器的基本功能。
3.如权利要求1所述设备,且具有通信设备的基本功能。
4.如权利要求3所述设备,且具有移动电话的基本功能。
5.如权利要求1所述设备,其中,安排所述通信设备来实现传真传输。
6.如权利要求1所述设备,其中,所述视像指示符包括线模式。
7.如权利要求1所述设备,其中,所述视像指示符包括点模式。
8.如权利要求1所述设备,且在相对其基本多键设备的反面具有所述摄像设备。
