Abstract

Description

跨接缆线
本发明涉及一对跨接缆线,具体来说涉及具有照明灯的一对跨接缆线,所说照明灯有一独立的电源,用于在连接到要充电的电池以前有选择的激励照明灯。
在本领域中使用电池缆线是众所周知的。显然,若在电池两极之间产生电弧,则这些设备有可能受到伤害。因此,重要问题是,把跨接缆线连接到正确的电池终端,以保证安全并消除电源短路。已经进行了许许多多的尝试,以便开发出可有效地指示电池正确连接的跨接缆线指示系统。许多这类系统使用LED,或者其它照明灯,它们在跨接缆线连接正确时点亮。其中有美国专利:4938712;6868688;和4840583;每一专利都公开了这样一种系统,并且在这里参考引用了这些专利。然而,每一个这样的系统都要连接到在指示前需要提升电压的充电量较少的电池上。
通常,跨接缆线必须在黑暗中或在光线很差的情况下进行对接。黑暗难以看得见电池接线柱,难以保证跨接缆线连接器正确固定到电池终端上。此外,在黑暗中辨别电池终端的极性和跨接缆线的连接情况是极其困难的。
美国专利5367243公开了包括闪光灯的可回缩的跨接缆线固定装置,这里参考引用了该专利。把常规的闪光灯连接到正和负跨接缆线上。连接的方式应该是,一个开关能使闪光灯由电池供电,或者以传统方式由包括在闪光灯中的电池组供电。
本发明的目的是改进现有技术的跨接缆线系统。具体来说,本发明的目的是在跨接缆线连接器内插入一个光源,可在连接到需要升压的电池之前有选择地激励所说跨接缆线连接器。
本发明涉及一种具有光源的电池跨接缆线,所说光源能独立地照亮在连接之前要升压的电池的电池接线柱的连接情况。在优选实施例中至少一个跨接缆线连接器包括一个电压源,一个开关,和一个灯,可以用和传统闪光灯相似的方式使用所说的灯照明电池接线柱区域。在另一实施例中连接器包含一个开关和一个灯。在该实施例中,一个附加的线连接到开关和相反极性的跨接缆线上。当按下开关时电压从升压电池提供给灯,升压电池连接到或者不连接到充电较少的电池上。

最佳实施例
图1代表优选实施例的跨接缆线的跨接缆线连接器1,(或者更普遍地称为电极钳)。在连接器的可估计到的部分上设有按钮2。在连接器上还设有灯3,最好是LED,以便在连接到电池接线柱时提供光。跨接缆线连接器1的后部包含电池盒5,用于容纳向灯3提供电压的一节或多节电池。
连接器缆线6按常规方式连接到夹紧接触件7上。连接器(电极钳)1连接到电池接线柱和连接器线的安排和操作是常规的。
图2表示图1的跨接缆线连接器的分解透视图。电池盒5包括连接器件1的后部4的一个中空的盒5b。中空盒5b包含引线8和9,引线8和9连接到开关2和灯3。电池盒5的尺寸应该能容纳照明灯3所必须的电压的电池10。电池盒的优选尺寸是可容纳两节AA型电池。然而,还可使用其它规格的电池,或使用单个电池。图2描述的是纵向串联连接的两节电池。然而,电池的具体取向并不重要。电池可以彼此并列放置,以便于得到一个符合人机工程学的连接器的手柄部分。提供盒盖5a来覆盖在连接器的中空部分5b中的电池10。可以以任何可操作的方式把盖5a连接到连接器的中空部分5b上,并且最好以按压快锁方式固定。
图3表示图1-2的跨接缆线连接器(电极钳)的接线。一个开关经连接体11连接到引线8和9之一。灯经连接体12连接到另一个引线。开关和灯经连线13连接。当电池插入盒5中时,引线8和9借此连接,向电路提供电压源。开关2的接通使电压源照亮灯。
开关最好是按钮弹簧驱动的开关。开关2在连接体11和13之间保持开路。按压开关闭合了在连接体11和13之间的电路,因而构成了电路,并点亮了灯泡3。这样一种安排减少了偶然接通开关和不使用时耗尽电源的可能性。然而,还可以按类似方式使用其它类型的开关。
灯3最好是LED。但也可使用其它类型的灯,它们应能提供足够的光亮以识别电池终端的极性,促进正确的连接而不需要大的电压。
图4表示本发明的另一个实施例。在这个实施例中,连线13如同优选实施例中那样在开关2和灯3之间建立接触。然而,在这另一个实施例中,电压源是从升压电池提供的。在灯3和线6之间建立电连接15。在开关2和相反极性的线17之间也建立电连接。辅助缆线16和连接器14在相反极性的缆线17和开关2之间建立电连接。当开关2接通,升压器电压源激励灯3,和要充电的电池的连接无关。缆线6和17最好连接到一个便携式的升压器装置上。然而,缆线6和17还可连接到一个常规的跨接缆线连接器上,以便按传统方式与另一个工作电池建立连接。不管哪种情况,在与要充电的电池建立连接之前和之后,都可有选择地照亮灯3。
虽然以上参照优选实施例表示并描述了本发明,但本领域的普通技术人员都明白,在不偏离本发明的构思和范围的条件下,还可以作出各种变化和修改。

Claims (5)

1.一种在升压电池和充电较少的电池之间提供连接的电池跨接缆线,所说电池跨接缆线包括:
两个具有第一和第二端的绝缘缆线;
一个设在所说两缆线的所说第一端的电池连接装置,用于在所说两缆线和对应的电池终端之间建立电连接;其中,所说电池固定装置进一步还包括:
一个电压源;
一个开关;和
一个灯设备,借此,所说开关的动作闭合了在所说独立的电压源和灯之间的电路,从而可向所说的一个电池连接装置附近的区域提供照明。
2.按照权利要求1的电池跨接缆线,其特征在于:所说开关包括一个可在通和断位置之间工作的按钮开关,所说按钮开关由弹簧偏置成所说断开位置。
3.按照权利要求1的电池跨接缆线。其特征在于:所说的电池连接装置中之一进一步包括:
电绝缘的电极钳,所说电极钳包括用于包含一个电压源并电连接到一对引线的盒,所说开关电连接到所说引线之一和所说灯,所说灯又连接到所说引线中的另一个。
4.按照权利要求3的电池跨接缆线,其特征在于;所说灯包括LED。
5.一种在升压电压源和充电较少的电池之间提供连接的电池跨接缆线,所说电池跨接缆线包括:
两个具有第一和第二端的绝缘缆线,所说第二端连接到所说升压电压源的对应端;
一个设在所说两个绝缘缆线的所说第一端的电池连接装置,用于在所说两个绝缘缆线中的每一缆线和对应的所说充电较少的电池终端之间建立电连接,借此在所说升压电压源和所说充电较少的电池之间提供电连接;其中,连接到所说两个跨接缆线中的第一个的一个所说电池连接装置进一步还包括:
一个开关;
一个灯设备,和
一个在所说开关和灯设备之一与所说两个绝缘缆线中的第二缆线之间的辅助连接器,借此,所说开关的动作闭合了在所说升压电压源和灯之间的电路,这和在所说升压电压源与所说充电较少的电池之间的所说电连接无关,从而可有选择地向所说的一个电池连接装置附近的区域提供照明。
