Background of the present invention
1. field of the present invention
The present invention relates to oral health products, specifically, relate to toothpaste, more specifically to the gel dentifrice that contains fluoride and sodium bicarbonate. The present invention also relates to make the method for toothpaste and the method for using toothpaste.
2. the description of relevant prior art
People are familiar with for a long time toothpaste, and come cleaning teeth and antiplaque with it.The preparation teachers often seek new method improvement toothpaste people's captivation are done by the oral cavity health therapy to encourage people.Except done improvement aspect fragrance, people are also doing various visual improvement aspect traditional white paste over several years.
The improvement the most noticeable that people are done aspect visual attraction is to introduce the toothpaste gel. This toothpaste provides a kind of transparent or semitransparent gel to replace opaque in the past paste, gives masses with intensive captivation, and encourages people all to do by oral cavity health every day.
Recently interested for consumers another content is to use increasing " natural " composition in various products (also comprising toothpaste usually). Therefore, nearest a kind of traditional toothpaste component----sodium bicarbonate that in toothpaste, has used as cleaning agent.
Yet sodium bicarbonate is its stability as a problem of one of toothpaste component. When combining with water, sodium bicarbonate also is a sodium bicarbonate, is easy to decompose.Thereby the shelf life of baking soda dentifrice is of short duration in making us and can't accepting.
The people's such as Delaney that on February 10th, 1976 authorized United States Patent (USP) the 3rd, 937, No. 804 (together with the United States Patent (USP) the 3rd of its similar patent mandate on March 9th, 1976,943, all transfer Colgate-Palmolive Company No. 240) be an example of baking soda dentifrice, the sodium bicarbonate at least about 20%, preferred 30% is mixed with water, polyhydric alcohol wetting agent, gellant or thickening agent and fluoride.Owing to have macroscopic crystalline bicarbonate particles in level and smooth, the successive substrate in addition, therefore this toothpaste has granular texture in appearance.Owing to by the formation bulky grain sodium bicarbonate being separated from water and stability being kept.
The Fitz that authorized on July 5th, 1994, the United States Patent (USP) of Jr. relate to for the 5th, 326, No. 554 and contain sodium bicarbonate and as the composition for oral cavity of stablizing the sodium carbonate of buffer agent.
