Abstract

Description

用于电话或类似装置的键入器
本发明涉及用于电话或类似装置的键入器，在这些装置中必须键入多个字母符号，以便使用在权利要求1中所描述的那种类型的装置。
最近，移动电话变得越来越普遍，最流行的款式是轻且小的，并且使用者可以容易地随身携带它。
然而，已经证明键入器是对于小型化的一个限制因素。在市场中的最小的电话中，已经发现键入器难以使用，由于它的键太小。
本发明的一个目的是提供一种键入器，可以在手持装置比如移动电话中使用它，它使得可以制作出像一根较大的笔一样小的移动电话，它可以被任何人使用，甚至手指相当大的人使用它而没有任何问题。
在美国专利No.4044242中讲授了先前已为人所知的在装在手镯上的计算器中在一定程度上解决了这一问题的一个示例。在该专利中键被两个滑动装置代替，此二装置在一个标尺上滑到相应于一个所想要的符号的位置，并靠按压该滑动装置在该符号在一个显示装置上显示出来的同时把该符号送入该计算器的运算部分。在此已知的装置中，把所选择的符号传输到计算器中的装置被连接到该滑动装置上，从而当该滑动装置被按压时，发生传输。这是一种很不适当的解决方案，因为可能很容易发生符号的无意中的传输，特别是当该装置被放在口袋中，被放在袋子或类似物中，即不是像该专利公开文件中所描述的那样使用时，尤其如此。因此，这一解决方案不适用于移动电话或类似的手持装置。
本发明提供了上面所描述的那种类型的键入器，它避免了先前已经知道的装置的缺点，其特征为在权利要求1中的描述的那些特点。
在键入器的这一设计中，使用了较少的材料，并在装置上有较少的部件，这意谓着它们可以更廉价地生产。按照本发明的键入器不仅使得装置可以被做成更小，而且使得如上面所提到的完全新的结构/设计例如形状像一根圆珠笔的移动电话成为可能。因为壳体变得较小，就可以把手持装置做得更轻，这意谓着可以用一支手更容易地操作手持装置。这使得当例如在道路交通中使用移动电话时更安全。
按照本发明的键入器可以在迄今使用有键或按钮的键入器来选择单个的数字或字母的大多数情况下使用。作为例子，该键入器可以制成移动电话，无绳电话，用于电视机和音响的遥控，等等。原则上，在装置中用按键键入器的机械遥控电子装置可以与按照本发明的键入器一起使用。
在其它的所附的权利要求中描述了本发明的另外的特点。现在将参考着附图更详细地描述本发明，在附图中：
图1示出了在样子像一根圆珠笔的移动电话上的旋转键入器形式的键入器的一个实施例；
图2a和2b分别示出了在样子像一根圆珠笔的移动电话上的轮式键入器形式的键入器的两个实施例；
图3a和3d示出了与移动电话相连接的不同实施例的滑动键形式的键入器；
图4示出了与移动电话相连接的箭头键形式的键入器。
图1示出了本发明的一个实施例，其中操纵装置包含电话的实际壳体构成，该电话包括一个上部5和一个下部4，它们彼此相对可以旋转。在两个壳体部分4，5之间的间隙中设有一个符号标尺1，当做为电话使用该装置时，这些符号是拔打电话的符号，即，可以在电话号码中出现的那些符号。可以把标尺1固定在壳体部分4，5中之一上。
壳体部分之一可以有一个指向标尺1的标志，从而当一个壳体部分相对于另一部分旋转时，该标志将指向所选择的符号。也可以把旋转部分连接到一个本质上已知的电子单元上，该电子单元明显地显示出各选择的符号。
把所选择的符号送到已经普遍知道的类型的一个显示装置3，当今在大多数移动电话中使用此种显示装置，操作适用于此目的的一个操纵装置。这一操纵装置可以是为此目的的一个额外的键，或者使一个壳体部分相对于另一个壳体部分弯曲，从而驱动一个装在里面的键。在这种情况下，将以铰接状的方式把一个壳体部分连接到另一个壳体部分上，从而当一个壳体部分相对于另一个壳体部分弯曲时，就驱动壳体内的一个键。
像靠操纵为此目的而设的一个键在选择完成之后把电话号码选定或传输那样，自动出现在显示装置上的分阶段地选择的符号可以自动地作为电话号码传输。
例如在电话壳体的下部4也可以按照需要设有另外的键6：一个#键，一个*键，一个清除键，等。尽管有这些额外的键6，键的数目依然是减少了，以至这不会影响电话的尺寸或必要的键。
各操纵装置、键和实际的电话单元之间的连接与显示装置被认为在技术上是显而易见的，并可以在电话的结构中采用普遍已知的技术实现这种连接，因此，将不作任何与本实施例或任何后面的实施例相联系的更详细的描述。
图2a和2b示出了在样子像一根圆珠笔的移动电话上的轮子1’，1″形式的键入器的实施例。
在图2a中，示出的轮1’由壳体的上部突伸出，在轮1’上有符号，并在壳体上有一个箭头标志7，当轮1’旋转时，此标志示出所选择的符号。
也可以把该轮沉放入壳体内，如图2b中所示出的那样。在这种情况下，设置一个标尺2’，它以与参考着图1所描述的相同的方式示出所选择的符号。
可以靠对轮1’，1″施加压力或靠使用适当地装在壳体上的一个分开的按钮确定形式为例如字母或数字的符号。
这里所描述的两个实施例也可以有一个显示装置3和额外的键6，如参考着图1所示出的那样。
图3a到3d示出了与移动电话相连接的不同实施例的滑动键8形式的键入器。
在这些实施例中，操纵装置包括一个滑动装置8，它可以在一个凹槽中或沿着一根滑动杆9移动。该凹槽9可以是直的(见图3a和3b)，弯的(见图3d)或非直线的，这种非直线的一个例子在图3c中示出。可以把凹槽或滑动杆9构造成该装置壳体的一部分，做为或多或少打开的凹槽9，或以装在壳体上的一根滑动杆的形式。可以沿着凹槽或滑动杆9在壳体上甚至在实际的显示装置3上标记出符号，如在图3a中所示出的那样。可以靠按压该滑动装置8，向上或向下弯曲滑动装置，或靠操作为此目的设置的一个键实现所选择的符号的确认，这就是说，在原则上，以与上面所描述的实施例相同的方式实现这种确认。
图4示出了与移动电话相连接的箭头键形式的键入器。在这里，操纵装置为肘状键11类型的。靠分别向左和向右按压箭头上的键11，在显示装置3上的箭头12将沿着所示出的符号移动。靠在肘状键11的中心施加压力把符号选定。也可以用三个键代替此肘状键11。
因此，通过只使用三个键11中的一个键，将可以靠在显示装置3的一个菜单中前后移动箭头选择在显示装置中的符号。整个这一操作要求比已知的键入器少得多的空间和较少的内部功能，这些已知的键入器要求至少大约十个键的空间。
可以以许多不同方式设计显示装置。可以靠采用一个标志，或靠使符号在显示装置上滚动，或靠在颜色或阴影中使符号突现出来，把符号标记出。可以按照需要和要求改变显示装置的解决方案。也可以用发自装置的声音信号支持显示装置。

Claims (8)

1.一种用于固定电话，移动电话，无绳电话，计算器，遥控装置或类似装置的键入器，它有一个设在一壳体中或设在一壳体上的操纵装置，用来分阶段地输入符号，并有用来确认各分阶段地选择的符号的装置，其特征在于，只设置了一个用来分阶段地输入符号的装置，并且确认装置包括用来分阶段地输入的装置或由一个分开的装置，可以使用与握住电话的同一只手操纵所述装置。
2.按照权利要求1所述的键入器，其特征在于，用来分阶段地输入的操纵装置为一个轮(1’；1″)，它可以相对于壳体旋转。
3.按照权利要求1-2所述的键入器，其特征在于，可旋转的轮(1’)设有符号。
4.按照权利要求2所述的键入器，其特征在于，可旋转的轮(1″)与设有符号的标尺相互作用。
5.按照权利要求1所述的键入器，其特征在于，操纵装置为一个滑动键(8)，它可以在设在壳体中的一个凹槽(9)中移动，或沿着固定到壳体上的一根滑动杆(9)移动。
6.按照权利要求1所述的键入器，其特征在于，操纵装置为一个形式为肘状键的键，用来使一个标志在一个显示装置(3)上的菜单中向右或向左移动。
7.按照权利要求1所述的键入器，其特征在于，壳体部分之一用做确认装置，即，以枢轴状的方式把它连接到另一个壳体部分上，从而靠使一个壳体部分相对于另一个壳体部分弯曲，启动在壳体内部的一个键装置。
8.按照权利要求1到7所述的键入器，其特征在于，实际的操纵装置用做确认装置，即，对操纵装置加压或使它弯曲实现一个符号的选定。
