对优选实施方案的说明
本文所用的术语“透明的”,系指具有可见的特性,其含义包括目视是透明的物体也还包括半透明的物体。
术语“不同颜色”,其含义包括与第一种颜色不同的颜色,在色调上比第一种颜色或明或暗或不同或形成反差。
本发明的透明容器所装的第一和第二种牙膏组合物,基本上是相同的组合物,但这二种牙膏包含不同的着色剂磨料,和不同的增稠剂含量。在本发明的范围内,第一种牙膏可不包含任何着色剂,可以是半透明的,或通常是透明的。制备该各个牙膏组分所用的着色剂,当按推荐量使用时,在药物学和生理学上是无毒的。这些着色剂包括颜料和染料。在本发明的实践中所用的颜料,包括无毒的、不溶于水的无机颜料如二氧化钛和绿色的三氧化二铬、蓝色的佛青和粉红色的氧化铁以及以提供FD&C染料的钙盐或铝盐利用氧化铝制备的不溶于水的染料色淀,例如FD&C绿1#色淀、FD&C蓝2#色淀、FD&C R&D 30#色淀、和FD&C黄15#色淀。颜料的粒度为5-1000μm,优选250-500μm。包含颜料的牙膏在本文中称作“膏剂”。

在本发明的实践中,优选在透明容器中封装的第一种或主体牙膏中包括的着色剂是一种色淀染料或颜料,并优选在第二种形成条纹的牙膏中包括的着色剂,是食品着色的染料。
在按照本发明制备第一和第二种牙膏组分的过程中,使用一种可口用的载色体,其中包括具有润湿剂的水相,润湿剂优选甘油和山梨糖醇,或烷撑二醇如聚乙二醇或丙二醇,其中存在的水量一般为牙膏总重量的约5%(重量)至约25%(重量),甘油、山梨糖醇和/或烷撑二醇成分一般为牙膏总重的约20%(重量)至约60%(重量),更一般为约25%(重量)至约50%(重量)。
这二种牙膏组分一般包含天然的或合成的增稠剂或胶凝剂,其比例为约0.0%(重量)至约5%(重量),优选约0.2%(重量)至约1%(重量)。增稠剂在本发明的牙膏组合物中的这些比例,足以形成可挤出的、能保持形状的产品,能将这种产品从管中挤到牙刷上,几乎不会落在牙刷的刷毛之间,基本上能在刷毛上保持其形状。适合在本发明实践中使用的的增稠剂或胶凝剂包括爱尔兰苔藓胶、I-角叉胶、黄蓍树胶、淀粉、聚乙烯基吡咯烷酮、羟乙基丙基纤维素、羟丁基甲基纤维素、羟丙基甲基纤维素、羟乙基纤维素、和羧甲基纤维素。
在本发明实践中采用的牙膏组合物中,可以包括抛光剂如二氧化硅、煅烧的氧化铝、碳酸氢钠、碳酸钙、磷酸二钙、和焦磷酸钙。采用胶体二氧化硅之类的抛光剂,通常能制备透明的牙膏组合物,例如采用以Toxosil 103商标出售的胶体二氧化硅,或采用碱金属铝硅酸盐络合物(即在其基质中结合了包含二氧化硅的氧化铝),其折射率接近于在牙膏组合物中采用的胶凝剂-液体(包括水和/或润湿剂)系统的折射率。

为了增加预防作用和使本组合物在化妆方面更容易被接受,在本发明的牙膏组合物中使用了表面活性剂。适宜的表面活性剂的实例包括较高级的脂肪酸单硫酸单甘油酯的水溶性盐类,例如氢化椰子油脂肪酸的单硫酸化的单甘油酯钠盐;古柯酰氨基丙基(cocamidopropyl)甜菜碱;较高级的烷基硫酸酯盐,例如月桂基硫酸酯钠;烷基芳基磺酸盐,例如十二烷基苯磺酸钠;较高级的烷基磺基乙酸盐,月桂基磺基乙酸钠;1,2-二羟基丙烷磺酸盐较高级的脂肪酸酯;和较低级的脂肪氨基羧酸化合物的基本上饱和的较高级的脂肪酰基酰胺,例如在脂肪酸、烷基或酰基上具有12-16个碳的这类化合物,等等。最后提到的酰胺的实例是N-月桂酰肌氨酸,和N-月桂酰、N-肉豆蔻酰、或N-棕榈酰肌氨酸的钠、钾和乙醇胺盐。
在本发明的牙膏组合物中存在的阴离子型表面活性剂的量,一般为约0.3%(重量)至约5%(重量),优选约0.5%(重量)至约2.0%(重量)。
本发明的牙膏组合物还可以包括作为防龋剂的氟化物离子源,其量足以提供约25ppm-2500ppm的氟化物离子,本发明的牙膏组合物还可以包括无机的氟化物盐,例如可溶性的碱金属盐,例如氟化钠、氟化钾、一氟磷酸钠以及它们的混合物。
在碱金属氟化物的情况下,按制剂的重量计算,这些盐的存在量一般高达约2%(重量),优选约0.05%-1%(重量)。
除了氟化物以外,还可以包含防牙垢剂,例如焦磷酸盐,其中包括二碱金属或四碱金属焦磷酸盐,例如Na4P2O7、K4P2O7、Na2K2P2O7、Na2H2P2O7和K2H2P2O7;长链聚磷酸盐,例如六偏磷酸钠;和环磷酸盐,例如三偏磷酸钠;在牙膏组合物中包括的防牙垢剂浓度,为约1-5%(重量)。
可以采用本领域众所周知的甜味剂,其中包括天然的和合成的甜味剂。甜味剂可以选自范围广泛的材料,其中包括天然存在的水溶性的甜味剂和合成的水溶性甜味剂。合成的水溶性甜味剂包括但不限于可溶性的邻磺酰苯酰亚胺的盐类,例如邻磺酰苯酰亚胺的钠盐或钙盐,和环己基氨基磺酸盐。天然存在的甜味剂包括但不限于蔗糖;糖醇,其中包括山梨糖醇,如70%的山梨糖醇溶液,甘露糖醇、木糖醇、麦芽糖醇;氢化淀粉的水解产物;以及它们的混合物。在牙膏中存在的甜味剂浓度,为约0.1%(重量)至约5%(重量)。
本发明的牙膏组合物可以包含香味剂。在本发明的牙膏组合物中,加入的香味剂浓度为约0.1%(重量)至约5.0%(重量),优选约0.5%(重量)至约1.5%(重量)。在本发明实践中使用的香味剂,包括精制的油类以及各种有香味的醛类、酯类、醇类和类似的材料。精制油类的实例包括留兰香、薄荷、冬青、黄樟、丁香、鼠尾草、桉树、马郁兰、肉桂、柠檬、酸橙、葡萄柚和桔子油。薄荷醇、香芹酮、茴香脑之类的化学试剂也是适用的。其中最常用的是薄荷油和留兰香油。
也可在本发明的口用制剂中加入各种其它材料如杀菌剂,例如二氯苯氧氯酚、洗必太、阴离子聚羧酸酯,例如甲基乙基醚/马来酸酐共聚物;退敏剂,例如硝酸钾;维生素,例如泛酰醇、棕榈酸视黄酯、维生素E乙酸盐;草药,例如chamomilla recutita、辣薄荷、药鼠尾草、没药树;增白剂,例如过氧化氢和过氧尿素;防腐剂;硅酮;叶绿素化合物和/或含氨的材料,例如尿素、磷酸氢二铵;和它们的混合物。当采用时,这些辅药在牙膏组合物中的加入量,须基本上不能对所需要的性质和特征产生不利的影响。
通过使用者对组分施加压力,可将本发明的二种牙膏组分,以所控制的量从容器中同时挤出,例如从被挤压的容器,可抽吸或可压扁的管中挤出。对本领域而言,适合这种挤出的容器是已知的,例如在美国专利4,687,663和4,487,663中所公开的,在此引入这些公开内容作为参考。

参看附图1-3所示的本发明的实施方案,具有透明侧壁10a的可压扁的牙膏管10,装有带螺纹的头部顶端11,其上有多条螺纹12,用于固定管10头部顶端上的盖13,管10具有向顶端倾斜的斜面14,排出通道或排出口15。
管10是由塑料材料制成的,例如高密度的聚乙烯或聚丙烯,具有足够薄的侧壁,能被反复地弯曲,以施加压力挤出装在管中的牙膏组分。
位于向管10顶端倾斜的斜面14内是在头部顶端下面的一个区域,它从带螺纹的头部顶端11向后伸入管10,以界定第一区域16,第一区域16被向顶端倾斜的斜面14的不透明的套管18隐蔽而看不见。
被向顶端倾斜的斜面14包围的、并被管10不透明的套管18隐蔽看不见的第一区域16,装满具有第一种颜色的形成条纹的凝胶19。管10剩下的部分,装满具有差别颜色的膏剂20,在向管10的侧壁10a施加压力时,形成待成条纹的牙膏体,凝胶19和膏剂20在区域16沿表面22互相接触。
为了使在区域16内所装的形成条纹的凝胶19,能在膏剂20挤出的条状体上形成条纹,在位于头部顶端11排出通道15内的插入管25中,有至少一个,优选多个形成条纹的通道24,插入管25通到排出通道15和管10装膏剂20的第二区26之间。为了产生特定宽度的带色条纹,条纹出口24的宽度必须不宽于所产生的条纹。在膏剂20离开管口15时,条纹可能略微展开,展开的程度,取决于以下因素,例如膏剂的粘度、和挤出的压力。然而,为了使条纹具有良好的再现性和良好的清晰度,只略微展开是允许的。因此,条纹出口24的宽度,必须与产生的条纹23的宽度相同,或略小。
在操作过程中,将管10装满能以带条纹的牙膏条29的形状挤出的牙膏组分物,为此首先将能形成条纹的牙膏凝胶19装入管10中。将这种材料装入第一区域16,装入容器的量不超过插管24的入口27,并在位置22以上,位置22是管10内二种不同颜色的牙膏材料接触的位置。然后将膏剂材料装入管10,充满管的其余空间,使用者透过透明的侧壁10a能看见至少一部分膏剂,这种膏剂材料,形成被挤出的带条纹的牙膏条29的本体20。形成条纹的凝胶19与本体牙膏膏剂20的体积比例,一般为1∶6-1∶15,优选1∶9。
在向管10的侧壁10a施加压力,挤出带条纹的牙膏条29时,形成带条纹的牙膏29本体的膏剂20,是通过插入管25的入口27挤出的,经排出通道28引导至管10的排出口15。与此同时,对管侧壁10a施加的压力,也使膏剂材料20发生移动,膏剂20沿轴向向封装在管10区域16内的形成条纹的凝胶19的方向移动。由于这种压力,强制形成条纹的凝胶19通过形成条纹的出口24,到达正在通过插入管25的排出通道28的膏剂材料20的条上。以这种方法,使形成条纹的凝胶19成为膏剂条29的一部分,这二种牙膏以带条纹的牙膏条29的形式从管10的排出口15排出,在透过管10透明的侧壁10a观察无条纹的膏剂挤出时,带条纹的牙膏条29就魔术似地形成了。
根据优选的实施方案以所附的实例说明了本发明。在本说明书和所附的权利要求中提到的所有部分和百分数都是以重量表示的。

在凝胶和膏剂组合物的制备过程中,制备甘油、山梨糖醇、聚乙二醇600和水的载色体溶液,对其施加28-30磅的真空,向其中加入糖精、氟化钠和羟甲基纤维素的混合物。然后将染料或TiO2与载色体混合。在施加的28-30磅真空下使混合物脱气5分钟。然后,在初步脱气后,加入toxosil 103、Zeodent 165和月桂基硫酸酯钠盐。混合这些成分。混合约5分钟后,施加真空,认为牙膏制剂已经制成,将凝胶和膏剂组分封装在附图1-2中所示类型的管中,其体积比例为1∶9。在管10中只膏剂是可看见的,凝胶组合物被固定在管顶端的不透明套管14隐蔽起来,看不见。
在封装之后,挤压管中的牙膏产品,挤出与众不同的带条纹的条状产品,在白色牙膏产品的表面上,沿长度方向伸展着连续的兰色条纹,这些条纹看上去是自发产生的,就好象用魔术在正挤出的白色牙膏上变出来的。
Claims (5)
1.一种制备带条纹的牙膏的方法,其中看起来是没有条纹的牙膏装在至少一部分侧壁是透明的容器中,在从容器中挤出时,就转变成带条纹的牙膏,这种方法包括,将形成条纹的牙膏装入容器中,该容器具有排出通道(15)和在排出通道内的形成条纹的通道(24),然后将与形成条纹的牙膏有不同颜色的第二种牙膏装入容器,将第二种牙膏装在容器透明的部分,而形成条纹的牙膏装在容器内与第二种牙膏分开的一个区域中,并隐蔽起来使使用者看不见,对容器壁施加压力,使形成条纹的牙膏在装形成条纹牙膏的隐蔽区域中施加到第二种牙膏上,同时从容器中一起挤出,所以在挤出时,被挤出的牙膏看起来已经转变成带条纹的牙膏。
2.权利要求1的方法,其中将形成条纹的牙膏和第二种牙膏装满容器,其体积比例为1∶6至1∶15。
3.权利要求1的方法,其中第二种牙膏包含颜料。
4.权利要求3的方法,其中颜料是二氧化钛。
5.权利要求1的方法,其中形成条纹的牙膏包含染料。
