Detailed Description
The following description of the embodiments of the present invention will be made clearly and completely with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which it is apparent that the embodiments described are only some embodiments of the present invention, but not all embodiments. Based on the embodiments of the present invention, all other embodiments obtained by the person skilled in the art based on the present invention are included in the scope of protection of the present invention.
In the prior art, when a user terminal uses voice service, a base station adopts a fixed MCS level to provide voice call service for the user terminal. For a user terminal with good communication network environment, the lower MCS level setting can cause unnecessary RB (Resource Block) Resource overhead of a base station, and the influence on the subsequent network load of the base station is larger; for a user terminal with poor communication network environment, the excessive MCS level can cause high air interface packet loss of the user terminal, and cause the degradation of voice call quality of the user terminal. Accordingly, as the communication network environment changes when the user terminal uses voice services, it may be difficult for the base station to provide voice call services with a fixed MCS level to guarantee the voice call quality of the user terminal.
In order to solve the above problems, embodiments of the present invention provide a method, an apparatus, a base station, and a storage medium for adjusting a voice scheme, which are specifically described below.
First, a method for adjusting a voice scheme provided by the embodiment of the invention is described.
Referring to fig. 1, a flowchart of a first voice scheme adjustment method according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided, and the method is applied to a base station, and the method includes the following steps S101 to S104.
Step S101, MCS level is configured for voice service of user terminal.
Specifically, when a user terminal is about to perform a voice service, a voice service request including a type identifier of the voice service is sent to a base station, and the base station can determine the type of the voice service about to be performed by the user terminal by detecting the type identifier. For example, the voice service to be performed by the user terminal may be: VONR (Voice over New Radio, voice over new air scheme), voice traffic of different types, voice traffic over LTE (Long Term Evolution,3GPP long term evolution technology) and so on.
And then, the base station detects the communication network environment in which the user terminal is positioned, and selects an MCS level for the voice service to be performed by the user terminal according to the existing spectrum efficiency optimization scheme based on the detection result and the type of the voice service so that the MCS level is matched with the detection result and the type of the voice service. Specifically, the MCS level may be calculated and selected by using a base station spectrum efficiency algorithm, that is, an algorithm for calculating the MCS level in the above-mentioned existing spectrum efficiency optimization scheme. When the base station detects that the communication network environment is good, the base station selects a higher MCS level for the voice service, for example, the MCS level is 7; when the base station detects that the communication network environment is poor, the base station selects a lower MCS level for the voice service to be performed by the user terminal, for example, MCS level is 2.
Specifically, the MCS level is selected according to the above-mentioned spectrum efficiency optimization scheme as content in the prior art, and the embodiments of the present invention are not described herein.
Step S102, detecting RTP packet loss rate of the voice service.
Specifically, when the user terminal performs the voice service, factors such as a change in a physical spatial position of the user terminal or external electromagnetic fluctuation may change a communication network environment where the user terminal is located, so that voice call quality of the user terminal is also changed. Because the RTP packet loss rate can be used as an index for judging the voice service call quality, the base station can judge the voice call quality of the user terminal by detecting the RTP packet loss rate of the user terminal when the voice service is performed.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the above step S102 may be implemented by the following step a.
And step A, before the voice service is ended, continuously detecting the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service.
Specifically, the base station may detect an RTP packet loss rate of the voice service when the user terminal starts the voice service. And then, in the whole process of the voice service of the user terminal, the base station can continuously detect the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service according to a preset period, so that the voice call quality of the user terminal in the whole process of the voice service is periodically judged according to the detected RTP packet loss rate, and the voice scheme of the user terminal in the whole process of the voice service is timely adjusted according to the judgment result.
Specifically, the duration of the preset period may be 0.5s, 1s or 3s, and the preset period may be set according to actual requirements, which is not limited by the embodiment of the present invention.
Step S103, if the RTP packet loss rate is larger than the preset RTP packet loss rate threshold, comparing the MCS level currently configured with the preset MCS level threshold.
Specifically, if the RTP packet loss rate of the user terminal is higher when the user terminal performs the voice service, the voice call quality of the user terminal is indicated to be worse; the smaller the RTP packet loss rate of the user terminal when the voice service is performed, the better the voice call quality of the user terminal is indicated. Therefore, the base station compares the detected RTP packet loss rate of the ue when performing the voice service with the preset RTP packet loss rate threshold, and considers that the voice call quality of the ue is degraded if the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service is greater than the preset RTP packet loss rate threshold, and the voice call quality of the ue is poor, so that the voice scheme of the voice service in progress by the ue needs to be adjusted to reduce the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service.
Specifically, in theory, the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service is associated with the MCS level currently configured by the base station for the voice service, and if the MCS level is higher in the same communication network environment, the RTP packet loss rate is higher.
In addition, since the MCS level is related to useful bits that can be transmitted in one symbol of the voice service, the smaller the MCS level is, the less useful bits that can be transmitted in one symbol of the voice service is. If the MCS level is too small, the number of useful bits that can be transmitted in one symbol of the voice service is too small, which may make the voice call quality of the voice service poor. Therefore, the current MCS level can be compared with the preset MCS level threshold, if the current MCS level is not smaller than the preset MCS level threshold, more useful bits can be transmitted in one symbol of the voice service are determined, otherwise, less useful bits can be transmitted in one symbol of the voice service are determined. For the two different cases, the voice schemes configured for the voice service can be adjusted in different manners.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the preset RTP packet loss rate threshold is 5%.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the preset MCS level threshold is 3.
In another embodiment of the present invention, when the base station detects that the RTP packet loss rate is not greater than the preset RTP packet loss rate threshold, the base station considers that the voice call quality of the ue is good, so that no adjustment is required for the voice scheme of the voice service that is being performed by the ue. In this case, the base station may continuously detect the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service according to a preset detection period in the process of performing the voice service, until the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service is detected to be greater than the preset RTP packet loss rate threshold, and then execute step S103 and the following steps. Specifically, the preset detection period may be set according to actual requirements.
In still another embodiment of the present invention, the base station may adjust the preset RTP packet loss rate threshold and the preset MCS level threshold according to actual requirements.
Step S104, based on the comparison result, adjusting the voice scheme configured for the voice service.
Specifically, the base station compares the MCS level currently configured for the voice service with a preset MCS level threshold, and performs corresponding operations respectively for the case that the currently configured MCS level is smaller than the preset MCS level threshold and the currently configured MCS level is not smaller than the preset MCS level threshold, so as to adjust the voice scheme to control the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service.
As can be seen from the above, in the scheme provided by the embodiment of the present invention, when a base station detects that an RTP packet loss rate of a voice service is greater than a preset RTP packet loss rate threshold when the user terminal performs the voice service, it indicates that the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service has degraded voice call quality of the user terminal at this time. Because the MCS level configured for the user terminal affects the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service, the MCS level configured for the user terminal is compared with a preset MCS level threshold, and the voice scheme used by the voice service is adjusted based on the comparison result so as to control the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service currently performed by the user terminal, thereby improving the voice call quality of the user terminal.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the voice service to be performed by the ue is: VONR voice traffic.
Specifically, when the ue transmits a voice service request to the base station to perform VONR voice service, the base station detects a quality of service identifier, i.e., 5QI1 (5G QOS Identifier 1,5G quality of service identifier 1) or 5QI2 (5G QOS Identifier 2,5G quality of service identifier 2), included in the voice service request, and thus knows that the ue requests VONR voice service.
After the base station compares the MCS level currently configured for the voice service performed by the user terminal with the preset MCS level threshold, the specific manner of adjusting the voice scheme configured for the voice service performed by the user terminal by the base station is different based on the comparison result. Thus, on the basis of the embodiment shown in fig. 1, the embodiment of the present invention provides the embodiment shown in fig. 2 below.
Referring to fig. 2, a flow chart of a second voice scheme adjustment method according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown, and compared with the embodiment shown in fig. 1, the foregoing step S104 may be implemented by the following steps S104A-S104B.
Step S104A, if the MCS level of the current configuration is smaller than the preset MCS level threshold, switching the voice scheme used by the voice service to other voice schemes different from the current voice scheme.
Specifically, when the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service is greater than the preset RTP packet loss rate threshold, the base station detects that the MCS level currently configured for the voice service is less than the preset MCS level threshold, and considers that the communication network environment where the user terminal is located is poor at this time, and even if the voice service performed by the user terminal is at a lower MCS level, the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service is still greater than the preset RTP packet loss rate threshold. If the MCS level of the voice service is further reduced, the available bits that can be transmitted in one symbol of the voice service are too small to effectively improve the voice call quality of the voice service. In this case, the base station switches the voice scheme used by the voice service to another voice scheme different from the current voice scheme. Compared with the current voice scheme, the other voice schemes can improve the conversation quality of the voice service in progress of the user terminal.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the user terminal is performing VONR voice services. In the prior art, because the LTE-based voice scheme has a lower requirement on the communication network environment than VONR, the base station switches the voice scheme used by the voice service being performed by the user terminal to the LTE-based voice scheme to improve the voice call quality of the user terminal when the MCS level currently configured by the VONR voice service is less than the preset MCS level threshold.
Step S104B, if the MCS level configured at present is not less than the preset MCS level threshold, the MCS level configured for the voice service is reduced.
Specifically, when the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service performed by the user terminal is greater than the preset RTP packet loss rate threshold, the base station detects that the MCS level currently configured for the voice service is not less than the preset MCS level threshold, and at this time, it is considered that the RTP packet loss rate is greater than the preset RTP packet loss rate threshold due to the higher MCS level currently configured for the voice service by the base station. Therefore, the base station can reduce the RTP packet loss rate by reducing the MCS level configured for the voice service, so as to improve the voice call quality of the user terminal.
In addition, when the MCS level configured for the voice service is reduced, the base station may reduce the MCS level by one step, or may reduce the MCS level by two steps, that is, the number of steps in which the MCS level is to be reduced may be set according to actual requirements, which is not limited by the embodiment of the present invention.
As can be seen from the above, in the scheme provided by the embodiment of the present invention, when the base station detects that the MCS level where the voice service is currently located is smaller than the preset MCS level threshold under the condition that the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service is greater than the preset RTP packet loss rate threshold, the base station adjusts the MCS level where the voice service is currently located, so that the voice call quality of the user terminal cannot be effectively improved, and therefore the base station switches the voice scheme used by the voice service in progress by the user terminal into another voice scheme different from the current voice scheme, so as to improve the subsequent voice call quality of the user terminal; after the base station detects that the MCS level where the voice service is currently located is not less than the preset MCS level threshold, the base station reduces the RTP packet loss rate by reducing the MCS level configured for the voice service. The base station adopts different adjustment modes for the voice scheme used by the voice service in progress of the user terminal aiming at the magnitude relation between the MCS level where the voice service is currently located and the preset MCS level threshold, so that the flexibility of the base station in improving the voice call quality of the user terminal is reflected.
In one embodiment of the present invention, after the completion of the aforementioned step S104B, the execution of the aforementioned steps S102-S104A or steps S102-S104B is continued.
Specifically, the step S102 is continuously executed by the return, and the base station may continuously detect the RTP packet loss rate of the ue when the ue performs the voice service after reducing the MCS level configured for the voice service, so as to continuously evaluate the voice call quality of the ue.
After the base station reduces the MCS level configured for the voice service, the base station continues to detect the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service performed by the user terminal, and indicates that the voice call quality of the user terminal is good when the newly detected RTP packet loss rate is not greater than the preset RTP packet loss rate threshold, and does not need to adjust the MCS level after the voice service is reduced, so that the base station maintains the reduced MCS level for the voice service.
Under the condition that the newly detected RTP packet loss rate is greater than the preset RTP packet loss rate threshold, it indicates that the voice call quality of the ue is poor, and the voice scheme of the voice service that is being performed by the ue needs to be adjusted to reduce the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service, so that the base station continues to execute the step S103.
Specifically, after the above-mentioned base station executes the above-mentioned step S103, the above-mentioned step S104A or the above-mentioned step S104B is continued to be executed.
As can be seen from the above, in the scheme provided by the embodiment of the present invention, after reducing the MCS level configured for the voice service, the base station continues to detect the RTP packet loss rate of the user terminal when performing the voice service, and continues to adjust the voice scheme of the voice service that is being performed by the user terminal when the newly detected RTP packet loss rate is greater than the preset RTP packet loss rate threshold, so as to ensure the voice call quality of the user terminal in the whole process of performing the voice service by the user terminal.
Referring to fig. 3, a flowchart of a third voice scheme adjustment method according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided, and the method is applied to a base station, and the method includes the following steps S301 to S311.
Step S301, a voice packet loss rate threshold and a voice MCS level threshold are set.
Specifically, the voice packet loss rate threshold may be the preset RTP packet loss rate threshold, and the voice MCS level threshold is the preset MCS level threshold.
Step S302, judging whether the voice service is the voice service.
Specifically, the ue sends a corresponding service request to the base station when the ue is about to perform a communication service, where the service request includes an identifier of the communication service about to be performed by the ue, and different types of communication services have different identifiers. The base station may determine whether the user terminal is about to perform a voice service by detecting an identification of a communication service about to be performed by the user terminal included in the service request.
Specifically, the identifier of the communication service to be performed by the user terminal may be a number, a character string, or the like.
After the base station determines that the ue is about to perform voice service, step S304 is performed, and otherwise step S303 is performed.
Step S303, calculating MCS level for non-voice service according to base station frequency spectrum efficiency algorithm.
Specifically, when the base station determines that the communication service to be performed by the user terminal is not a voice service, the base station configures a corresponding MCS level for the communication service according to an existing spectrum efficiency algorithm corresponding to the communication service to be performed by the user terminal.
Step S304, calculating MCS level for voice service according to base station frequency spectrum efficiency algorithm.
Specifically, in the case where the base station determines that the communication service to be performed by the user terminal is a voice service, the base station spectrum efficiency algorithm refers to the existing spectrum efficiency optimization scheme described in the foregoing step S101.
Step S305, judging whether the packet loss rate of the voice user is larger than a packet loss rate threshold.
Specifically, after the base station determines that the packet loss rate of the voice user is greater than the packet loss rate threshold, it indicates that the voice call quality of the user terminal is poor, and the voice scheme currently used by the voice service performed by the user terminal needs to be adjusted, so step S306 is executed, otherwise step S305 is continuously executed.
Specifically, the packet loss rate of the voice user may be an RTP packet loss rate of the voice service performed by the user terminal, and the packet loss rate threshold refers to the preset RTP packet loss rate threshold.
Step S306, judging whether the current voice MCS level is smaller than the voice MCS level threshold.
Specifically, step S306 refers to comparing the MCS level currently configured by the base station for the voice service performed by the ue with the preset MCS level threshold.
After the base station determines that the MCS level of the voice service performed by the user terminal is less than the preset MCS level threshold, step S307 is performed, otherwise step S308 is performed.
Step S307, switch to another voice scheme different from the current voice scheme.
Specifically, after the base station determines that the MCS level of the voice service performed by the user terminal is smaller than the preset MCS level threshold, the base station switches the voice scheme currently used by the voice service performed by the user terminal to another voice scheme different from the current voice scheme so as to ensure the voice call quality of the user terminal.
Step S308, the voice MCS level is lowered.
Specifically, after the base station determines that the MCS level of the voice service performed by the user terminal is not less than the preset MCS level threshold, the packet loss rate of the voice user can be reduced by reducing the MCS level of the current voice service performed by the user terminal.
Step S309, judging whether the packet loss rate of the voice user is greater than a packet loss rate threshold.
Specifically, after the above-mentioned lowering of the MCS level is performed, the above-mentioned step of determining whether the packet loss rate of the voice user is greater than the packet loss rate threshold still needs to be performed because the above-mentioned user terminal is still performing the above-mentioned voice service. After judging that the packet loss rate of the voice user is greater than the packet loss rate threshold, the base station returns to execute step S306 and the following steps, otherwise, execute step S310.
Step S310, selecting the MCS level call.
Specifically, after the base station reduces the MCS level of the voice service performed by the user terminal, the packet loss rate of the voice user is not greater than the packet loss rate threshold, so the base station may use the reduced MCS level as a new MCS level of the voice service performed by the user terminal.
Step S311, it is determined whether to continue the call.
Specifically, after determining that the ue continues the voice service, the base station executes step S309 and steps thereafter, and if not, ends the operation.
Specifically, the embodiments of the present invention are similar to those of the foregoing embodiments of the voice scheme adjustment method, so that the description thereof will not be repeated here.
Corresponding to the foregoing method for adjusting a voice scheme applied to a base station, the embodiment of the invention also provides a base station.
Referring to fig. 4, a schematic structural diagram of a base station according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a memory 401, a transceiver 402, and a processor 403:
A memory 401 for storing a computer program; a transceiver 402 for receiving and transmitting data under the control of the processor 403; a processor 403 for reading the computer program in the memory 401 and performing the following operations:
Configuring MCS level for voice service of user terminal;
Detecting the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service;
If the RTP packet loss rate is larger than a preset RTP packet loss rate threshold, comparing the MCS level currently configured with the preset MCS level threshold;
and adjusting the voice scheme configured for the voice service based on the comparison result.
Wherein in fig. 4, a bus architecture may comprise any number of interconnected buses and bridges, and in particular one or more processors represented by processor 403 and various circuits of memory, represented by memory 401, linked together. The bus architecture may also link together various other circuits such as peripheral devices, voltage regulators, power management circuits, etc., which are well known in the art and, therefore, will not be described further herein. The bus interface provides an interface. The transceiver 402 may be a number of elements, including a transmitter and a receiver, providing a means for communicating with various other apparatus over transmission media, including wireless channels, wired channels, optical cables, and the like. The processor 403 is responsible for managing the bus architecture and general processing, and the memory 401 may store data used by the processor 403 in performing operations.
The processor 403 may be a Central Processing Unit (CPU), an Application SPECIFIC INTEGRATED Circuit (ASIC), a Field-Programmable gate array (Field-Programmable GATE ARRAY, FPGA), or a complex Programmable logic device (Complex Programmable Logic Device, CPLD), and may also employ a multi-core architecture.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the voice scheme adjusted to the voice service configuration based on the comparison result specifically includes:
and if the currently configured MCS level is smaller than the preset MCS level threshold, switching the voice scheme used by the voice service to other voice schemes different from the current voice scheme.
And if the currently configured MCS level is not smaller than the preset MCS level threshold, reducing the MCS level configured for the voice service.
In one embodiment of the present invention, after the MCS level configured for the voice service is reduced if the currently configured MCS level is not less than the preset MCS level threshold, the method further includes:
Detecting the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service;
Under the condition that the newly detected RTP packet loss rate is not greater than the preset RTP packet loss rate threshold, maintaining the lowered MCS level;
comparing the MCS level currently configured with a preset MCS level threshold under the condition that the newly detected RTP packet loss rate is larger than the preset RTP packet loss rate threshold;
If the MCS level configured at present is smaller than the preset MCS level threshold, switching the voice scheme used by the voice service into other voice schemes different from the current voice scheme;
And if the currently configured MCS level is not smaller than the preset MCS level threshold, reducing the MCS level configured for the voice service.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the detecting the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service specifically includes:
And continuously detecting the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service before the voice service is ended.
From the above, it can be seen that, by applying the scheme provided by the embodiment of the present invention, in the whole process of performing the voice service by the ue, the base station may continuously detect the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service, so as to judge the voice call quality of the ue in the whole process of performing the voice service according to the detected RTP packet loss rate, so as to timely adjust the voice scheme of the ue in the whole process of performing the voice service according to the judgment result.
Corresponding to the foregoing method for adjusting a voice scheme applied to a base station, the embodiment of the invention further provides a device for adjusting a voice scheme.
Referring to fig. 5, a schematic structural diagram of a voice scheme adjusting apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided, where the apparatus is applied to a base station, and the apparatus includes:
A configuration module 501, configured to configure an MCS level for a voice service of a user terminal;
A detection module 502, configured to detect an RTP packet loss rate of the voice service;
A comparison module 503, configured to compare the MCS level currently configured with a preset MCS level threshold if the RTP packet loss rate is greater than the preset RTP packet loss rate threshold;
And the adjusting module 504 is configured to adjust the voice scheme configured for the voice service based on the comparison result.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the adjustment module 504 is specifically configured to:
and if the currently configured MCS level is smaller than the preset MCS level threshold, switching the voice scheme used by the voice service to other voice schemes different from the current voice scheme.
And if the currently configured MCS level is not smaller than the preset MCS level threshold, reducing the MCS level configured for the voice service.
In one embodiment of the present invention, after the adjusting module 504 decreases the MCS level configured for the voice service, the detecting module 502 continues to detect the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service, and if the RTP packet loss rate newly detected by the detecting module 502 is not greater than the preset RTP packet loss rate threshold, the adjusting module 504 does not operate, i.e. the decreased MCS level is maintained; in the case that the RTP packet loss rate newly detected by the detecting module 502 is greater than the preset RTP packet loss rate threshold, the comparing module 503 compares the MCS level currently configured with the preset MCS level threshold. If the comparison module 503 compares that the MCS level currently configured is less than the preset MCS level threshold, the adjustment module 504 switches the voice scheme used by the voice service to another voice scheme different from the current voice scheme; if the comparison module 503 compares that the currently configured MCS level is not less than the preset MCS level threshold, the adjustment module 504 decreases the MCS level configured for the voice service.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the detection module 502 is specifically configured to:
And continuously detecting the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service before the voice service is ended.
From the above, it can be seen that, by applying the scheme provided by the embodiment of the present invention, in the whole process of performing the voice service by the ue, the base station may continuously detect the RTP packet loss rate of the voice service, so as to judge the voice call quality of the ue in the whole process of performing the voice service according to the detected RTP packet loss rate, so as to timely adjust the voice scheme of the ue in the whole process of performing the voice service according to the judgment result.
