The present application relates to a wheeled mobile device.
Background
Wheeled mobile devices such as children's carriages, pet carriages, shopping carts, carts are a common type of infant carrier. A child's vehicle typically includes a frame, a seat, and wheels. Wheels are mounted below the frame to provide the travel function of the stroller.
The wheels of a conventional wheeled mobile device include a pair of front wheels and a pair of rear wheels. Wheeled mobile devices with drift function are currently on the market, wherein each front wheel and each rear wheel can rotate omnidirectionally about a substantially vertical axis, thus allowing the wheeled mobile device to travel in any direction. However, one problem with wheeled mobile devices having drift functions is that when the wheeled mobile device encounters an obstacle or travels on a slope, the rear wheel may be directionally rotated to a forward position, resulting in a risk of the wheeled mobile device tipping over.
Disclosure of Invention
A wheeled mobile device according to the present application includes: a frame body; at least one wheel disposed below the frame, the wheel being rotatable relative to the frame about an orientation axis; and a limiting structure disposed between the frame and the wheel operable to limit a range of directional rotation of the wheel.
In one embodiment, the limiting structure comprises: a first housing connected to the frame; a second housing connected to the wheel and rotatable relative to the first housing about the orientation axis; the limiting structure is configured to limit a range of rotation between the first housing and the second housing.

With reference to fig. 1 to 2, a first embodiment of a wheeled mobile device 1 according to the present application is described in its entirety. The wheel type moving apparatus 1 includes a frame 400 and at least one wheel 300 disposed below the frame 400. The wheel 300 is rotatable relative to the frame 400 about an orientation axis a. More specifically, the wheel 300 is rotatable about a generally vertically extending orientation axis a between a rearward position shown in fig. 1 and a forward position shown in fig. 2.
The wheels 300 of the wheeled mobile device 1 in this embodiment include a pair of front wheels and a pair of rear wheels, wherein each wheel 300 may be configured to rotate (i.e., omni-directionally rotate) about its respective directional axis a. In this way, the wheeled mobile device 1 can travel in any direction (i.e., drift travel).
Referring to fig. 3 and 4, a confinement structure 100 is shown. The limiting structure 100 is disposed between the frame 400 and the wheel 300, the limiting structure 100 being operable to limit the range of directional rotation of the wheel 300. Only the limiting structure 100 is shown as being provided at one rear wheel, however it should be understood that the limiting structure 100 may be provided at any wheel 300.

In the present embodiment, the wheel 300 is limited to be rotatable within a certain angular range based on the backward position, that is, not rotatable to the forward position. The restriction structure 100 includes a first housing 110 and a second housing 120. The second housing 120 is connected to the wheel 300 and is rotatable relative to the first housing 110 about an orientation axis a. The rotational connection between the first housing 110 and the second housing 120 will be described in detail later.
The limiting structure 100 is described more specifically with reference to fig. 6, in which the specific structures of the first and second cases 110 and 120 and the first and second limiting parts 140 and 121 provided on the first and second cases 110 and 120 are shown. Referring to fig. 6 and also referring to fig. 9, in the present embodiment, a locking hole 123 is further formed in the second limiting portion 121 (groove), and the first limiting portion 140 (pin) can be inserted into the locking hole 123 to lock the relative rotation between the first housing 110 and the second housing 120. More specifically, the locking hole 123 is opened at the middle in the circumferential direction of the second stopper 121. Thus, when the first stopper 140 is inserted into the locking hole 123, the wheel 300 is locked in the rearward position.

Referring to fig. 7 and 8 and simultaneously to fig. 3, the first housing 110 is connected to the frame 400, and in particular, the second section 113 of the first housing 110 is connected to the frame 400. The first spacing portion 140 is connected to the unlocking structure 200 by a connector 290, the unlocking structure 200 being operable to move the first spacing portion 140 away from the second spacing portion 121 by the connector 290. The first and second stoppers 140 and 121 are described above by taking the pin and the groove as examples, respectively, however, it should be understood that the first and second stoppers 140 and 121 may be provided in other forms. For example, the first stop 140 may be a stop and the second stop 121 may be a wall parallel to the orientation axis a.
In addition, in other embodiments, the first and second stoppers 140 and 121 may be interchanged with each other, i.e., the first stopper 140 may be a groove (e.g., an arc groove) and the second stopper 121 may be a pin. In this way, the accommodating groove 111 is correspondingly formed in the first housing 110.
The unlocking structure 200 is specifically described with reference to fig. 10 to 13.
As shown in fig. 10, the connector 290 is connected to the unlocking structure 200, and the unlocking structure 200 can be operated to pull the first stopper 140 through the connector 290.
As shown in fig. 13, the unlocking structure 200 includes an unlocking structure housing 240, a mounting plate 250, at least one driving member 210, an operating member 230, a moving member 220, and a spring 260. The unlocking structure housing 240 is provided at the rider 410 of the wheel-type moving device 1 in the lateral direction, and accommodates other components of the unlocking structure 200 at least partially. In the present embodiment, the unlocking structure housing 240 is formed by combining two half-shells, so as to facilitate installation. However, in other embodiments, the unlocking feature housing 240 may be a unitary component. Alternatively, the unlocking structure housing 240 may be omitted, and the other components of the unlocking structure 200 may be provided directly in the hollow rider 410.
Referring to fig. 11 to 13 simultaneously, a mounting plate 250 is disposed in the unlocking structure housing 240 in a lateral direction. The driver 210 is rotatably connected to the mounting plate 250 about an axis of rotation C (perpendicular to the plane of the drawing, at the center of the driver 210). The drive member 210 is coupled to a first end 292 of the connector member 290 and can be rotated to pull the connector member 290. More specifically, a first end 292 of the connector 290 is connected (e.g., hammerhead-like) to a recess 212 open at the periphery of the driver 210. When the driving member 210 rotates clockwise (in the direction as viewed in fig. 11 to 13) about the rotation axis C, the connection member 290 is pulled. In one embodiment, the driver 210 may be provided with a plurality of recesses 212 for connection to a plurality of connectors 290. For example, the driving member 210 may be provided with one recess 212 at a side near the operation member 230 and a side far from the operation member 230, respectively, and two connection members 290 are connected to the two recesses 212, respectively, such that the two connection members 290 are pulled, respectively, when the driving member 210 rotates clockwise about the rotation axis C. One of the connectors 290 may be connected to the restraint structure 100 (fig. 4) of the present application and the other connector 290 may be connected to another restraint structure (not shown) or other release module, such as a rider steering lock module, a frame folding lock module, etc. Thus, a plurality of unlocking modules can be simultaneously controlled by one driving member 210.
The operation piece 230 can be operated to move from the outside of the wheel type moving device 1. The moving member 220 is coupled to the operating member 230, and can drive the rotation of the driving member 210 according to the movement of the operating member 230.
More specifically, the operating member 230 is provided at the rider 410 of the wheel type moving device 1, and is movable (e.g., longitudinally movable) perpendicular to the rider 410. The operating member 230 has an abutting portion 231 formed protruding at an inner portion facing the rider 410, the abutting portion 231 abutting the moving member 220. The moving member 220 is formed at a side facing the driving member 210 with a guide 221, and the driving member 210 is provided at its periphery with a protrusion 211 rising along the rotation axis C of the driving member 210, the guide 221 being capable of causing the rotation of the driving member 210 against the protrusion 211. More specifically, as shown in fig. 12, the operation member 230 includes a head 232 having a substantially rectangular shape, and an abutment 231 is connected to the head 232 and extends from the head 232 toward the inside of the rider 410.
In the present embodiment, the guide 221 is a laterally extending abutment surface. The position of the protrusion 211 is set such that the driving member 210 pulls the connection member 290 when pushed by the moving member 220. For example, with the driver 210 on the right in fig. 11 to 13, the protrusion 211 is provided on the left side of the rotation axis C, and when the guide 221 presses the protrusion 211, the driver 210 rotates clockwise, thereby pulling the connection 290.
In one embodiment, the unlocking structure 200 includes two driving members 210 arranged in a transverse direction for driving the corresponding unlocking modules, respectively. For example, one driver 210 is used to drive a wheel rotation locking module, i.e., the restraining structure 100 described herein, and the other driver 210 is used to drive a rider steering locking module, a frame folding locking module, and the like. The unlocking structure 200 includes two moving members 220, each corresponding to one driving member 210.
The operating member 230 can abut and push one of the two moving members 220. Further, the unlocking structure 200 includes a selection member 270 at least partially disposed in the unlocking structure housing 240 and operable to cause one of the two moving members 220 to form a linkage state with the operating member 230. The linkage state refers to that the moving member 220 can be driven by the operating member 230, for example, one moving member 220 is in an abutting relationship with the operating member 230, so that the moving member 220 can be pushed by the operating member 230, and further drive the driving member 210 corresponding to the moving member 220. More specifically, the selector 270 is movably disposed in the unlocking structure housing 240 and is movable laterally (left-right movement) with respect to the unlocking structure housing 240. The two displacement members 220 each have a longitudinally extending insertion portion 222, the insertion portions 222 being longitudinally slidably inserted into the selection member 270, for example into two longitudinal sliding grooves (not shown) of the sliding portion 272 of the selection member 270, respectively, so as to allow each displacement member 220 to be longitudinally slidable relative to the selection member 270, as the selection member 270 moves laterally in the unlocking structure housing 240.
The unlocking structure housing 240 is further provided therein with a resetting member 273 which abuts between an inner wall of the unlocking structure housing 240 and one end of the selecting member 270. The reset element 273 is configured to bias the selector 270 laterally to the left in this embodiment, and may bias the selector 270 to the right in other embodiments.
When the selection member 270 is in the left position (as viewed in fig. 11-13), the right movable member 220 is in a ganged relationship with the operating member 230. More specifically, the right-hand moving member 220 has a laterally extending pressing surface 223 facing the operating member 230, the pressing surface 223 being capable of abutting against the abutment 231 of the operating member 230. Thus, when the selecting member 270 is positioned at the left side and the user presses the operating member 230, the pressing surface 223 contacts the abutting portion 231, so that the right moving member 220 moves upward correspondingly, and the protruding portion 211 of the driving member 210 moves along the guiding portion 221, so that the right driving member 210 rotates clockwise, and the connecting member 290 is pulled.
When the selection member 270 is located at a right position (not shown), both of the moving members 220 move rightward with the selection member 270, and thus the moving member 220 on the left side is in a linked relationship with the operation member 230. Thus, when the selecting member 270 is positioned at the right side and the user presses the operating member 230, the pushing surface 223 contacts the abutting portion 231, so that the left moving member 220 moves upward correspondingly, and the protruding portion 211 of the driving member 210 moves along the guiding portion 221, so that the left driving member 210 rotates counterclockwise, and the connecting member 290 is pulled.
It should be appreciated that the longitudinal, lateral, left, right, etc. azimuthal designations described above in relation to the unlocking structure 200 are for ease of understanding and for the case where the unlocking structure 200 is disposed at a lateral horizontal section of the rider 410. In other embodiments, the unlocking structure 200 may be disposed at other locations, such as at a vertical section or a curved section of the rider 410, and the above-described orientation of the unlocking structure 200 is changed accordingly.
Thanks to the unlocking structure 200 of the present application, a user can operate a plurality of locking modules including the restriction structure 100 with only one hand by pulling the selection member 270 with one finger (e.g., thumb) while pushing the operation member 230 with the other finger (e.g., the remaining four fingers) while holding the rider 410.
It should be appreciated that in other embodiments, the unlocking structure 200 may be provided in other suitable forms, such as a toggle lever, cam, or electrical actuation device, so long as the connector 290 is capable of being pulled in accordance with a user's operation.
A limiting structure 500 according to a second embodiment of the present application is described with reference to fig. 14 to 16. The restriction structure 200 of the first embodiment and the restriction structure 500 of the second embodiment may be applied to the wheeled mobile device individually or collectively.
In the second embodiment, the wheel type moving apparatus 1 is provided with a pair of wheels 300 (e.g., rear wheels), and a restricting structure 500 is provided between the two wheels 300. The restraint structure 500 includes a first housing 510, a second housing 520, a linkage 530, and a linkage shaft 540. The first and second cases 510 and 520 may be similar to the first and second cases 110 and 120 of the first embodiment. The linkage 530 is connected between the two second housings 520 such that the two second housings 520 are synchronously rotatable about respective orientation axes a. The link 530 can limit the range of rotation of the wheel 300, and when the wheel 300 is over-rotated (e.g., tends to rotate to a forward position), the link 510 can interfere with the corresponding second housing 520, thus preventing continued rotation of the wheel 300.
In one embodiment, the linkage 530 is a rod extending in a transverse direction and is connected to each of the second housings 520 by a linkage shaft 540 parallel to the orientation axis a, respectively. In other embodiments, the linkage 510 may be in other suitable forms, such as in the form of a cable.
A third embodiment according to the present application is described with reference to fig. 17 to 18.
In the third embodiment, the restraining structure 100 is directly connected to the wheel 300, and therefore the wheel mount 310 is omitted. As shown in fig. 18, the second housing 120 in the restraining structure 100 includes a connection seat 128 extending in an oblique direction, and the connection seat 128 is connected to an axle (not shown) of the wheel 300 so as to be rotatably connected to the wheel 300. In the present embodiment, the connection holder 128 is a fork extending to both sides of the wheel 300, and in other embodiments, the connection holder 128 may take any suitable form as long as the wheel 300 is rotatably connected to the second housing 120.
It should be understood that while the first embodiment shows a two-wheel structure (each restraining structure 100 is connected to two wheels 300) and the third embodiment shows a single-wheel structure (each restraining structure 100 is connected to two wheels 300), both the first and third embodiments may be applied to a two-wheel structure or a single-wheel structure.
In summary, the present application provides a wheel type moving apparatus having a limiting structure capable of limiting a rotation range of a wheel according to a user's operation, thereby avoiding a risk caused by free rotation of the wheel.
As the present application may be embodied in several forms without departing from the spirit or essential attributes thereof, it should be understood that the above-described embodiments are not limited by any of the details of the foregoing description, but rather should be construed broadly within its scope as defined in the appended claims, and therefore all changes that fall within the meets and bounds of the claims, or equivalences of such meets and bounds are therefore intended to be embraced by the claims.

Claims (21)

1. A wheeled mobile device, the wheeled mobile device comprising:
A frame body;
at least one wheel disposed below the frame, the wheel being rotatable relative to the frame about an orientation axis; and
And a limiting structure disposed between the frame and the wheel operable to limit a range of directional rotation of the wheel.
2. The wheeled mobile device of claim 1, wherein the limiting structure comprises:
A first housing connected to the frame;
A second housing connected to the wheel and rotatable relative to the first housing about the orientation axis;
The limiting structure is configured to limit a range of rotation between the first housing and the second housing.
3.A wheeled mobile device according to claim 2, wherein:
The first shell is provided with a first limiting part, and the second shell is provided with a second limiting part;
The first limit portion is operatively engaged to the second limit portion to limit a range of relative rotation between the first housing and the second housing.
4. A wheeled mobile device according to claim 1, wherein:
The wheel is at least one rear wheel and the restraining structure restrains the rear wheel from rotating to a forward position.
5. A wheeled mobile device according to claim 3, wherein:
One of the first limit part and the second limit part is a pin and can move close to or away from the other of the first limit part and the second limit part;
the other of the first and second stop portions is a groove extending about the orientation axis;
the first limiting portion is operable to be movably inserted into the second limiting portion to limit a relative rotation range between the first housing and the second housing according to an extension range of the second limiting portion.
6. The wheeled mobile device of claim 5, wherein:
the pin moves in a direction generally parallel to the orientation axis.
7. The wheeled mobile device of claim 5, wherein:
The second stopper is provided in the other of the first housing and the second housing, and at an interface where the first housing and the second housing are adjacent to each other.
8. The wheeled mobile device of claim 5, wherein:
And the second limiting part is also provided with a locking hole, and the first limiting part can be inserted into the locking hole so as to lock relative rotation between the first shell and the second shell.
9. The wheeled mobile device of claim 8, wherein:
The locking hole is formed in the middle of the second limiting part in the circumferential direction.
10. The wheeled mobile device of claim 5, wherein:
the grooves are arc-shaped and extend for 300 degrees.
11.A wheeled mobile device according to claim 3, wherein:
The first limit portion is connected to an unlocking structure by a connector, the unlocking structure being operable to move the first limit portion away from the second limit portion by the connector.
12. The wheeled mobile device of claim 11, wherein the unlocking structure comprises:
a driving member coupled to a first end of the coupling member, capable of being rotated to pull the coupling member;
An operating element operable to move from outside the wheel type moving device; and
And a moving member coupled to the operating member and capable of driving the driving member to rotate according to the movement of the operating member.
13. The wheeled mobile device of claim 12, wherein:
The second end of the connecting piece is connected to the first limiting portion, and when the connecting piece is pulled, the connecting piece enables the first limiting portion to be separated from the second limiting portion.
14. The wheeled mobile device of claim 12, wherein:
the operating piece is arranged at a rider of the wheel type mobile device and can move perpendicular to the rider;
An abutting portion formed by projecting the operating member at an inner portion facing the rider, the abutting portion abutting against the moving member;
The moving member is formed with a guide portion at a side facing the driving member, a protrusion portion rising along a rotation axis of the driving member is provided on a periphery of the driving member, and the guide portion can abut against the protrusion portion so that movement of the operating member drives the moving member to move, and the guide portion abuts against the protrusion portion to cause rotation of the driving member.
15. The wheeled mobile device of claim 12, wherein:
The unlocking structure comprises two driving parts, wherein one driving part drives the limiting structure through the connecting part, and the other driving part drives a locking module through the other connecting part;
The unlocking structure comprises two moving parts, which correspond to the two driving parts respectively and can drive the corresponding driving parts;
The operating member is arranged to selectively abut against one of the two moving members.
16. The wheeled mobile device of claim 15, wherein:
the unlocking structure further comprises a selection piece, wherein the selection piece can be operated to enable one of the two moving pieces to form linkage with the operation piece, so that the moving piece linked with the operation piece can be pushed by the operation piece, and the corresponding driving piece is driven.
17. A wheeled mobile device according to any one of claims 1-16, wherein:
the limiting structure is connected to the wheel through a wheel seat, the wheel seat can move longitudinally relative to the limiting structure, and a buffer spring is arranged between the limiting structure and the wheel seat.
18. A wheeled mobile device according to any one of claims 1-16, wherein:
the wheeled mobile device is a child car or a pet car.
19. A wheeled mobile device, the wheeled mobile device comprising:
A frame body;
Two wheels arranged below the frame body, wherein the wheels can rotate around a directional axis relative to the frame body; and
And a limiting structure arranged between the two wheels, and capable of limiting the range of directional rotation of the wheels.
20. The wheeled mobile device of claim 19, wherein said limiting structure comprises:
two first housings connected to the frame body, respectively;
two second housings respectively connected to the two wheels and respectively rotatable with respect to the two first housings about the orientation axis;
And a linkage connected to the two second housings such that the two second housings rotate synchronously about respective orientation axes.
21. The wheeled mobile device of claim 20, wherein:
the linkage is a rod extending in a transverse direction and is respectively connected to each of the second housings by a linkage shaft parallel to the orientation axis;
The linkage member and the first housing interfere with each other to limit the rotation range of the second housing.
