The user closes the option of automatically searching the upgrade package, and meanwhile, the terminal equipment is connected with the Internet through data traffic or hot-spot WiFi.
The terminal device searches for the upgrade package in response to the search request of the user, and when the upgrade package is searched for, the terminal device displays an option of downloading and installing the upgrade package, as shown in (a) of fig. 8.
In one possible case, the user clicks on an option of downloading and installing the upgrade package, as shown in (b) of fig. 8, and in response to the clicking operation, the terminal device downloads the upgrade package and automatically installs the upgrade package after the downloading of the upgrade package is completed. After the upgrade package is installed, the terminal equipment displays reminding information for restarting the terminal equipment.
In one possible case, the user does not click on the option of downloading and installing the upgrade package, and the terminal device periodically displays the reminding information. The terminal device displays the reminding information in the mode of popup window display and the mode of notification bar display in the first 10 times, as shown in (c) in fig. 8; at the 11 th to 20 th times, the reminder information is displayed only by way of the notification bar display, as shown in (d) of fig. 8. After the user clicks the option of downloading and installing, downloading and installing the upgrade package, and after the installation is completed, displaying the reminding information of restarting the terminal equipment.
2. Thermal patch/cold patch
Various small problems may occur during the operation of the system, and when repairing the small problem, a small program is generally adopted to repair the problem, without downloading a new installation file again. Among other things, such applets are known as patches. The patch that needs to be restarted to be effective is a cold patch, and the patch that does not need to be restarted to be effective is a hot patch.
3. User portrayal
During the use of the terminal device by the user, the usage habits of the user using the current terminal device are recorded, for example, whether the user will want to upgrade the system or not is strong, when the user will typically upgrade the system, etc. These data indicating the usage habits of the user may be referred to as user portraits.
At present, with the continuous progress of terminal technology, the operating system of the terminal equipment is continuously updated, and the new system can generally enable the terminal equipment to realize better system functions. When a new version of the operating system of the terminal device appears, the device manufacturer will typically push the reminder information for the upgrade system to the terminal device. For example, the equipment manufacturer may push the reminding information to the user in a popup window manner, so that the user downloads and installs a new system based on the reminding information. In order to avoid the situation that the operating system is not upgraded because the user does not see the reminding information, equipment manufacturers can push the reminding information for many times, so that the upgrading rate of a new system is improved. However, in a possible case, the problem of the system version is small, the user does not want to upgrade the system, and the reminding information of the upgrade system is displayed for multiple times, so that the objection of the user is caused, and the user experience is reduced.
In view of this, an embodiment of the present application provides a method for reminding a user of a system upgrade, where in a first period of time, reminding information is displayed according to a historical reminding level, where the reminding information is used to remind the user of the system upgrade, the historical reminding level is obtained by displaying the reminding information before the first period of time and/or by displaying the reminding information, and then according to the historical reminding level and the first displaying number, the current reminding level is determined, the first displaying number is the displaying number of the reminding information in the first period of time, and then in a second period of time, the reminding information is displayed according to the current reminding level, where the second period of time is a period taking the current moment as a starting moment. The first display times are the display times of the reminding information in the first time period, and the more the display times of the reminding information in the first time period are, the operation of upgrading the system is performed by the user under the condition of multiple reminding, so that the upgrading will of the user is lower; the fewer the number of times of displaying the reminding information in the first period, the more the reminding information is displayed, the user is informed of the operation of upgrading the system as soon as possible after the reminding information is displayed, and the higher the upgrading will of the user is; therefore, the current reminding level which is redetermined based on the display times (namely the first display times) of the reminding information in the first period and the historical reminding level is the reminding level which meets the user wish, and the user experience in the process of pushing the reminding information of the system upgrading is improved.
The reminding method for system upgrading provided by the embodiment of the application can be applied to electronic equipment. Optionally, the electronic device includes a terminal device, which may also be referred to as a terminal (terminal), a User Equipment (UE), a Mobile Station (MS), a Mobile Terminal (MT), and so on. The terminal device may be a mobile phone, a smart television, a wearable device, a tablet (Pad), a computer with wireless transceiving function, a Virtual Reality (VR) terminal device, an augmented reality (augmented reality, AR) terminal device, a wireless terminal in industrial control (industrial control), a wireless terminal in unmanned driving (self-driving), a wireless terminal in teleoperation (remote medical surgery), a wireless terminal in smart grid (SMART GRID), a wireless terminal in transportation security (transportation safety), a wireless terminal in smart city (SMART CITY), a wireless terminal in smart home (smart home), or the like. The embodiment of the application does not limit the specific technology and the specific equipment form adopted by the terminal equipment.
By way of example, fig. 9 shows a schematic structural diagram of the electronic device 100. The electronic device 100 may include a processor 110, an external memory interface 120, an internal memory 121, a universal serial bus (universal serial bus, USB) interface 130, a charge management module 140, a power management module 141, a battery 142, an antenna 1, an antenna 2, a mobile communication module 150, a wireless communication module 160, an audio module 170, a speaker 170A, a receiver 170B, a microphone 170C, an earphone interface 170D, a sensor module 180, keys 190, a motor 191, an indicator 192, a camera 193, a display 194, and a subscriber identity module (subscriber identification module, SIM) card interface 195, etc. The sensor module 180 may include a pressure sensor 180A, a gyro sensor 180B, an air pressure sensor 180C, a magnetic sensor 180D, an acceleration sensor 180E, a distance sensor 180F, a proximity sensor 180G, a fingerprint sensor 180H, a temperature sensor 180J, a touch sensor 180K, an ambient light sensor 180L, a bone conduction sensor 180M, and the like.
It should be understood that the illustrated structure of the embodiment of the present application does not constitute a specific limitation on the electronic device 100. In other embodiments of the application, electronic device 100 may include more or fewer components than shown, or certain components may be combined, or certain components may be split, or different arrangements of components. The illustrated components may be implemented in hardware, software, or a combination of software and hardware.
The processor 110 may include one or more processing units, such as: the processor 110 may include an application processor (application processor, AP), a modem processor, a graphics processor (graphics processing unit, GPU), an image signal processor (IMAGE SIGNAL processor, ISP), a controller, a memory, a video codec, a digital signal processor (DIGITAL SIGNAL processor, DSP), a baseband processor, and/or a neural Network Processor (NPU), etc. Wherein the different processing units may be separate devices or may be integrated in one or more processors.
A memory may also be provided in the processor 110 for storing instructions and data. In some embodiments, the memory in the processor 110 is a cache memory. The memory may hold instructions or data that the processor 110 has just used or recycled. If the processor 110 needs to reuse the instruction or data, it can be called directly from the memory. Repeated accesses are avoided and the latency of the processor 110 is reduced, thereby improving the efficiency of the system.
The wireless communication module 160 may provide solutions for wireless communication including wireless local area network (wireless local area networks, WLAN) (e.g., wireless fidelity (WIRELESS FIDELITY, wi-Fi) network), bluetooth (BT), global navigation satellite system (global navigation SATELLITE SYSTEM, GNSS), frequency modulation (frequency modulation, FM), near field communication (NEAR FIELD communication, NFC), infrared (IR), etc., applied to the electronic device 100. The wireless communication module 160 may be one or more devices that integrate at least one communication processing module. The wireless communication module 160 receives electromagnetic waves via the antenna 2, modulates the electromagnetic wave signals, filters the electromagnetic wave signals, and transmits the processed signals to the processor 110. The wireless communication module 160 may also receive a signal to be transmitted from the processor 110, frequency modulate it, amplify it, and convert it to electromagnetic waves for radiation via the antenna 2.
The electronic device 100 implements display functions through a GPU, a display screen 194, an application processor, and the like. The GPU is a microprocessor for image processing, and is connected to the display 194 and the application processor. The GPU is used to perform mathematical and geometric calculations for graphics rendering. Processor 110 may include one or more GPUs that execute program instructions to generate or change display information.
The display screen 194 is used to display images, videos, and the like. The display 194 includes a display panel. The display panel may employ a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) CRYSTAL DISPLAY, an organic light-emitting diode (OLED), an active-matrix organic LIGHT EMITTING diode (AMOLED), a flexible light-emitting diode (FLED), miniled, microLed, micro-oLed, a quantum dot LIGHT EMITTING diode (QLED), or the like. In some embodiments, the electronic device 100 may include 1 or N display screens 194, N being a positive integer greater than 1.
The external memory interface 120 may be used to connect an external memory card, such as a Micro SD card, to enable expansion of the memory capabilities of the electronic device 100. The external memory card communicates with the processor 110 through an external memory interface 120 to implement data storage functions. For example, files such as music, video, etc. are stored in an external memory card.
The internal memory 121 may be used to store computer executable program code including instructions. The processor 110 executes various functional applications of the electronic device 100 and data processing by executing instructions stored in the internal memory 121. The internal memory 121 may include a storage program area and a storage data area. The storage program area may store an application program (such as a sound playing function, an image playing function, etc.) required for at least one function of the operating system, etc. The storage data area may store data created during use of the electronic device 100 (e.g., audio data, phonebook, etc.), and so on. In addition, the internal memory 121 may include a high-speed random access memory, and may further include a nonvolatile memory such as at least one magnetic disk storage device, a flash memory device, a universal flash memory (universal flash storage, UFS), and the like.
The pressure sensor 180A is used to sense a pressure signal, and may convert the pressure signal into an electrical signal. In some embodiments, the pressure sensor 180A may be disposed on the display screen 194. The pressure sensor 180A is of various types, such as a resistive pressure sensor, an inductive pressure sensor, a capacitive pressure sensor, and the like. The capacitive pressure sensor may be a capacitive pressure sensor comprising at least two parallel plates with conductive material. The capacitance between the electrodes changes when a force is applied to the pressure sensor 180A. The electronic device 100 determines the strength of the pressure from the change in capacitance. When a touch operation is applied to the display screen 194, the electronic apparatus 100 detects the touch operation intensity according to the pressure sensor 180A. The electronic device 100 may also calculate the location of the touch based on the detection signal of the pressure sensor 180A. In some embodiments, touch operations that act on the same touch location, but at different touch operation strengths, may correspond to different operation instructions. For example: and executing an instruction for checking the short message when the touch operation with the touch operation intensity smaller than the first pressure threshold acts on the short message application icon. And executing an instruction for newly creating the short message when the touch operation with the touch operation intensity being greater than or equal to the first pressure threshold acts on the short message application icon.
The touch sensor 180K, also referred to as a "touch panel". The touch sensor 180K may be disposed on the display screen 194, and the touch sensor 180K and the display screen 194 form a touch screen, which is also called a "touch screen". The touch sensor 180K is for detecting a touch operation acting thereon or thereabout. The touch sensor may communicate the detected touch operation to the application processor to determine the touch event type. Visual output related to touch operations may be provided through the display 194. In other embodiments, the touch sensor 180K may also be disposed on the surface of the electronic device 100 at a different location than the display 194.
It should be noted that any of the electronic devices mentioned in the embodiments of the present application may include more or fewer modules in the electronic device 100.
The software system of the electronic device 100 may employ a layered architecture, an event driven architecture, a microkernel architecture, a microservice architecture, or a cloud architecture. In the embodiment of the application, taking an Android system with a layered architecture as an example, a software structure of the electronic device 100 is illustrated.
Fig. 10 is a software configuration block diagram of the electronic device 100 according to the embodiment of the present application.
The layered architecture of the electronic device 100 divides the software into several layers, each with a distinct role and division of labor. The layers communicate with each other through a software interface. In some embodiments, the Android system is divided into four layers, from top to bottom, an application layer, an application framework layer, an Zhuoyun rows (Android runtime) and system libraries, and a kernel layer, respectively.
The application layer may include a series of application packages.
As shown in fig. 10, the application package may include applications for cameras, gallery, calendar, phone calls, maps, navigation, WLAN, bluetooth, music, video, short messages, etc.
The application framework layer provides an application programming interface (application programming interface, API) and programming framework for the application of the application layer. The application framework layer includes a number of predefined functions.
As shown in fig. 10, the application framework layer may include a window manager, a content provider, a view system, a phone manager, a resource manager, a notification manager, and the like.
The window manager is used for managing window programs. The window manager can acquire the size of the display screen, judge whether a status bar exists, lock the screen, intercept the screen and the like.
The content provider is used to store and retrieve data and make such data accessible to applications. The data may include video, images, audio, calls made and received, browsing history and bookmarks, phonebooks, etc.
The view system includes visual controls, such as controls to display text, controls to display pictures, and the like. The view system may be used to build applications. The display interface may be composed of one or more views. For example, a display interface including a text message notification icon may include a view displaying text and a view displaying a picture.
The telephony manager is used to provide the communication functions of the electronic device 100. Such as the management of call status (including on, hung-up, etc.).
The resource manager provides various resources for the application program, such as localization strings, icons, pictures, layout files, video files, and the like.
The notification manager allows the application to display notification information in a status bar, can be used to communicate notification type messages, can automatically disappear after a short dwell, and does not require user interaction. Such as notification manager is used to inform that the download is complete, message alerts, etc. The notification manager may also be a notification in the form of a chart or scroll bar text that appears on the system top status bar, such as a notification of a background running application, or a notification that appears on the screen in the form of a dialog window. For example, a text message is prompted in a status bar, a prompt tone is emitted, the electronic device vibrates, and an indicator light blinks, etc.
Android run time includes a core library and virtual machines. Android runtime is responsible for scheduling and management of the android system.
The core library consists of two parts: one part is a function which needs to be called by java language, and the other part is a core library of android.
The application layer and the application framework layer run in a virtual machine. The virtual machine executes java files of the application program layer and the application program framework layer as binary files. The virtual machine is used for executing the functions of object life cycle management, stack management, thread management, security and exception management, garbage collection and the like.
The system library may include a plurality of functional modules. For example: surface manager (surface manager), media Libraries (Media Libraries), three-dimensional graphics processing Libraries (e.g., openGL ES), 2D graphics engines (e.g., SGL), etc.
The surface manager is used to manage the display subsystem and provides a fusion of 2D and 3D layers for multiple applications.
Media libraries support a variety of commonly used audio, video format playback and recording, still image files, and the like. The media library may support a variety of audio video encoding formats, such as: MPEG4, h.264, MP3, AAC, AMR, JPG, PNG, etc.
The three-dimensional graphic processing library is used for realizing three-dimensional graphic drawing, image rendering, synthesis, layer processing and the like.
The 2D graphics engine is a drawing engine for 2D drawing.
The kernel layer is a layer between hardware and software. The kernel layer at least comprises a display driver, a camera driver, an audio driver, a sensor driver, a Wi-Fi driver and the like.
It should be noted that, the electronic device according to the embodiment of the present application may include more or fewer modules in the electronic device. For example, the electronic device may also include memory, a timer, and the like.
The following describes in detail a reminding method for system upgrade provided by the embodiment of the present application with reference to fig. 11 to 16.
Fig. 11 is a flow chart of a reminding method for system upgrade according to an embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 11, the method includes:
S101, displaying reminding information according to a historical reminding level in a first period, wherein the reminding information is used for reminding a user to upgrade a system, and the historical reminding level is obtained through the display times and/or the display mode of the reminding information before the first period.
The historical reminding level can be used for indicating the importance degree of the reminding information, and the higher the level of the historical reminding level is, the higher the importance degree of the reminding information is, the lower the level of the historical reminding level is, and the lower the importance degree of the reminding information is. The higher the importance degree of the display reminding information is, the more the display times are, and the more the display mode is complex; the lower the importance of displaying the reminding information is, the fewer the display times are, and the more single the display mode is.
For example, the historical alert levels may be categorized into a strong alert level, a medium alert level, and a weak alert level. The display times and the display modes corresponding to the strong reminding level comprise: firstly displaying 10 times of reminding information in a popup window mode and a notification bar mode, and then displaying 10 times of reminding information in the notification bar mode; the display times and the display modes corresponding to the medium reminding level comprise: displaying 10 times of reminding information in a popup window mode; the display times and the display modes corresponding to the weak reminding level comprise: and displaying 10 times of reminding information in a notification bar mode.
It should be understood that the time intervals for displaying the reminding information for multiple times may be the same or different, which is not limited by the embodiment of the present application.
The example, the displaying times and displaying modes corresponding to the strong reminding level include that 10 times of reminding information is firstly displayed in a popup window mode and a notification bar mode, and then 10 times of reminding information is displayed in a notification bar mode for illustration, wherein in the process of displaying 10 times of reminding information in the popup window mode and the notification bar mode, reminding information can be displayed at intervals of 5 seconds, and in the process of displaying 10 times of reminding information in the notification bar mode, reminding information can be displayed at intervals of 10 seconds.
For example, the display times and the display modes corresponding to the medium reminding level include 10 times of reminding information through a popup window, wherein when the reminding information is displayed for the first 3 times, the reminding information can be displayed at intervals of 5 seconds, and when the reminding information is displayed for the last 7 times, the reminding information can be displayed at intervals of 15 seconds.
The reminding information is used for reminding a user of carrying out system upgrading. Since system upgrades typically include both downloading installation packages and installing installation packages, the reminder may include downloading and installing the reminder.
For example, the download reminder information and the installation reminder information may be displayed in two, wherein the download reminder information is used to remind the user to download the upgrade package, and the download reminder information may include two options, namely "download" and "cancel", as shown in (a) of fig. 12. The installation reminding information is used for reminding the user of installing the upgrade package, and can comprise two options of 'installation' and 'cancellation', as shown in (b) in fig. 12.
For example, the download reminder information and the installation reminder information may also be displayed simultaneously, where the reminder information is used to remind the user to download and install the upgrade package, and the reminder information includes two options of "download and install" and "cancel", as shown in (c) of fig. 12.
In one possible scenario, the user may choose to install the upgrade package at night, since it is typically necessary to reboot the electronic device after the upgrade package is installed.
S102, determining a current reminding level according to the historical reminding level and first display times, wherein the first display times are the display times of the reminding information in a first period.
The first time period is a time period before the current time, and the first display times are the display times of the reminding information in the first time period. That is, the first display times are the display times of the reminding information before the current time. Because the reminding information is used for reminding the user of carrying out system upgrading, after the user clicks the option of upgrading the system, the terminal equipment can carry out related operation of system upgrading and does not display the reminding information any more. Therefore, the more the number of times of displaying the reminding information (the first display number of times) in the first period is, the lower the willingness of the user to upgrade the system is, and the fewer the number of times of displaying the reminding information in the first period is, the higher the willingness of the user to upgrade the system is. The current reminding level may be an importance level indicating that the reminding information is displayed at the current moment, and the higher the level of the current reminding level is, the higher the importance level of the reminding information is displayed, and the lower the level of the current reminding level is, the lower the importance level of the reminding information is displayed. The higher the importance degree of the display reminding information is, the more the display times are, and the more the display mode is complex; the lower the importance of displaying the reminding information is, the fewer the display times are, and the more single the display mode is.
For example, the current alert level may be classified into a strong alert level, a medium alert level, and a weak alert level. The display times and the display modes corresponding to the strong reminding level comprise: firstly displaying 10 times of reminding information in a popup window mode and a notification bar mode, and then displaying 10 times of reminding information in the notification bar mode; the display times and the display modes corresponding to the medium reminding level comprise: displaying 10 times of reminding information in a popup window mode; the display times and the display modes corresponding to the weak reminding level comprise: and displaying 10 times of reminding information in a notification bar mode.
The historical reminding level can be stored in the terminal equipment in a parameter mode, and can also be stored in a cloud server in communication connection with the terminal equipment, and the embodiment of the application is not limited to the above. The terminal equipment can obtain the historical reminding information by reading the parameters corresponding to the historical reminding information.
As can be seen from the above description, the first display times refer to the display times of the reminding information in the first period. The terminal device may record the number of times of displaying the reminder in the first period, and store the first number of times of displaying. The terminal device may store the first display times in a memory of the terminal device itself, or may store the first display times in a cloud server connected to the terminal device in a communication manner, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present application.
Optionally, the historical alert level is stored in a storage means in the terminal device.
In the embodiment of the application, the historical reminding level is stored in the storage device in the terminal equipment, so that the terminal equipment only needs to read the historical reminding level stored in the storage device when acquiring the historical reminding level, and further the convenience of determining the current reminding level according to the historical reminding level and the first display times is higher.
Optionally, the history level is stored in a cloud server, and the cloud server is in communication connection with the terminal device.
Taking the example that the historical reminding grade and the first display times are stored in the cloud server, the specific process that the terminal equipment stores the historical reminding grade and the first display times in the cloud server and acquires the historical reminding grade and the first display times from the cloud server is described. The method comprises the steps that communication connection is established between the terminal equipment and the cloud server, the cloud server authorizes an account currently logged in by the terminal equipment, data interaction is allowed between the account currently logged in by the terminal equipment and the cloud server, and after the terminal equipment obtains the authorization of the cloud server, the historical reminding grade and the first display times are stored in the cloud server. When the terminal equipment needs to acquire the historical reminding grade and the first display times, the terminal equipment sends a login request to a cloud server, the cloud server determines whether an account currently logged in by the terminal equipment is a legal account, if yes, access rights are opened to the account currently logged in by the terminal equipment, and the current account logged in by the terminal equipment is allowed to download the historical reminding grade and the first display times from the cloud server. Therefore, after the same user logs in different terminal equipment, the historical reminding grade and the first display times corresponding to the user can be obtained from the cloud server based on the same login account. That is, even if the user logs in the user account through different terminal devices, the first display times and the historical reminding level obtained from the cloud server are the first display times and the historical reminding level corresponding to the user, so that the current reminding level obtained according to the first display times and the historical reminding level can meet the wish of the user.
In one possible case, the user performs an operation of restoring factory settings on the terminal device. If the historical reminding level is stored in the terminal equipment, the historical reminding level is deleted along with the operation of restoring the factory setting. If the historical reminding level is stored in the cloud server, after the user logs in, the historical reminding level can be obtained by accessing the cloud server, so that the condition that the historical reminding level is deleted along with the operation of restoring factory settings is avoided.
In the embodiment of the application, the historical reminding level is stored in the cloud server in communication connection with the terminal equipment, so that the reliability of the historical reminding level can be improved, and further the reliability of obtaining the current reminding level according to the first display times and the historical reminding level is improved, and therefore the reliability of displaying the reminding information according to the current reminding level in the second period is also improved.
As can be seen from the above description, the more the first display times, the lower the upgrade will of the user, and the more the first display times, the higher the upgrade will of the user, so the current reminding level can be obtained according to the first display times and the historical reminding level, and the current reminding level can be obtained by correcting the historical reminding level according to the first display times, so that the current reminding level can more meet the will of the user.
The historical reminding level can be updated based on the first display times, so that the current reminding level can be determined by the terminal device according to the historical reminding level and the first display times.
The first display times may refer to the times of displaying the reminding information last time (in the first period), and the more the display times are, the lower the user upgrading will is, and the less the display times are, the higher the user upgrading will is. The terminal equipment can update the historical reminding grade based on the first display times to obtain the current reminding grade.
The historical reminding level is an intermediate reminding level, and the intermediate reminding level is lifted to a high reminding level under the condition that the first display times are smaller than or equal to a preset threshold value, so that the current reminding level is obtained; and under the condition that the first display times are larger than a preset threshold value, reducing the medium reminding grade to the reminding grade to obtain the current reminding grade.
Optionally, the reminding information includes downloading reminding information and installation reminding information, the first display times includes downloading reminding times and installation reminding times, updating processing is performed on the historical reminding level based on the first display times, and the current reminding level is obtained, which may include: when the downloading reminding times are larger than a first preset threshold value and the installation reminding times are larger than a second preset threshold value, reducing the level of the historical reminding level to obtain the current reminding level; and under the condition that the downloading reminding times are smaller than a first preset threshold value and the installation reminding times are smaller than a second preset threshold value, improving the level of the historical reminding level to obtain the current reminding level.
The first preset threshold may be the same threshold as the second preset threshold, or may be a different threshold, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present application.
In the embodiment of the application, the historical reminding grade is updated based on the first display times to obtain the current reminding grade, so that the processing procedure for obtaining the current reminding grade can be simplified, and the efficiency of displaying the reminding information according to the current reminding grade in the second period is further improved.
And S103, displaying reminding information according to the current reminding grade in a second period, wherein the second period is a period taking the current time as the starting time.
The second period is a period taking the current time as the real time, that is, the reminding information displayed in the second period is the reminding information to be displayed currently. Because the current reminding level is determined according to the first display times and the historical reminding level, the current reminding level is possibly different from the historical reminding level, and the current reminding level can be more in line with the upgrading wish of the user.
In one possible scenario, the historical alert level is a medium alert level and the current alert level is a low alert level. As shown in fig. 13, in the first period, the reminding information is displayed 10 times based on the history reminding level in a popup window manner, and in the second period, the reminding information is displayed 10 times based on the current reminding level in a notification bar manner.
The embodiment of the application provides a reminding method for system upgrading, which comprises the steps of displaying reminding information according to historical reminding levels in a first period, wherein the reminding information is used for reminding a user to upgrade the system, the historical reminding levels are obtained through the display times and/or display modes of the reminding information before the first period, then determining the current reminding levels according to the historical reminding levels and the first display times, wherein the first display times are the display times of the reminding information in the first period, then displaying the reminding information according to the current reminding levels in a second period, and the second period is a period taking the current moment as the starting moment. The first display times are the display times of the reminding information in the first time period, and the more the display times of the reminding information in the first time period are, the operation of upgrading the system is performed by the user under the condition of multiple reminding, so that the upgrading will of the user is lower; the fewer the number of times of displaying the reminding information in the first period, the more the reminding information is displayed, the user is informed of the operation of upgrading the system as soon as possible after the reminding information is displayed, and the higher the upgrading will of the user is; therefore, the current reminding level which is redetermined based on the display times (namely the first display times) of the reminding information in the first period and the historical reminding level is the reminding level which meets the user wish, and the user experience in the process of pushing the reminding information of the system upgrading is improved.
In determining the current alert level according to the first number of displays and the historical alert level, it is also necessary to refer to the current environmental information of the terminal device, where the environmental information may include network status information and/or remaining storage space information, which is described in detail below with reference to the embodiment shown in fig. 14.
Fig. 14 is a flowchart of a method for reminding a system upgrade according to another embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 14, the method includes:
S201, displaying reminding information according to a historical reminding level in a first period, wherein the reminding information is used for reminding a user to upgrade a system, and the historical reminding level is obtained through the display times and/or the display mode of the reminding information before the first period.
S202, acquiring environment information of the terminal equipment at the current moment, wherein the environment information comprises network state information and/or residual storage space information.
The network state information may refer to a manner that the terminal device accesses the internet, and by way of example, the terminal device may access the internet through WLAN, may access the internet through data traffic, and may access the internet through hot-spot WiFi. It should be appreciated that the user's willingness to upgrade is generally high when the terminal device accesses the internet via a WLAN. When the terminal equipment accesses the internet through data traffic or hot-spot WiFi, the upgrading will of the user is usually low.
The remaining storage space information may refer to a size of a storage space remaining in the storage device of the terminal device. It should be appreciated that the larger the size of the remaining storage space, the higher the user's willingness to upgrade, and the smaller the size of the remaining storage space, the lower the user's willingness to upgrade.
For example, the terminal device may read a configuration file in the system to obtain the environmental information.
S203, determining the current reminding level according to the environment information, the historical reminding level and the first display times.
It should be understood that the terminal device may update the historical alert level based on the first display number, and the terminal device may further correct the alert level obtained based on the first display number and the historical alert level according to the environmental information, so as to obtain the current alert level.
For example, when the historical alert level is a medium alert level, the first display number is 8, which indicates that the user has a low desire to upgrade, and the level of the historical alert level (i.e., the medium alert level) needs to be reduced to obtain a low alert level. In this case, the network status information indicates that the terminal device is currently accessing the internet through the WLAN, while the remaining storage space of the terminal device has a size of 50GB. In such environmental information, the user's willingness to upgrade is generally high, and therefore, the low alert level can be increased to the medium alert level as the current alert level.
For example, when the historical alert level is a medium alert level, the first display number is 1, which indicates that the user has a higher desire to upgrade, and the level of the historical alert level (i.e., the medium alert level) needs to be increased to obtain a high alert level. In this case, the network status information indicates that the terminal device is currently accessing the internet through data traffic, and the size of the remaining storage space of the terminal device is 2.2GB. In the environment information, the user upgrading will is generally lower, so that the medium reminding grade can be used as the current reminding grade and kept the same as the historical reminding grade, and the current reminding grade is obtained without upgrading the reminding grade.
In one possible case, the historical alert level is stored in the cloud server, and the steps of S205 and S206 may be further performed in determining the current alert level according to the environment information, the historical alert level, and the first display number.
It will be appreciated that there is typically a longer time interval between the end device coming off-line from the production line to the start of use of the device by the user, and there is a greater likelihood of a system update. Therefore, when the terminal device is first powered on, it is generally necessary to update the system to be used by the user. Thus, on first power-on, the reminder will typically be displayed first, in which case the reminder should typically be displayed with a strong reminder level.
Optionally, when the reminding information is displayed for the first time, the reminding information is displayed based on the historical reminding level, that is, the number of times of display is more and is greater than a third preset threshold, and the display mode comprises popup window display and notification bar display.
The reminding method for system upgrading provided by the embodiment of the application can display the reminding information by adopting a high reminding level when the reminding information is displayed for the first time, wherein the first time of displaying the reminding information is usually displayed when the system is started for the first time, and at the moment, the user upgrading will is usually higher, so that when the reminding information is displayed for the first time, the display times are larger than the third preset threshold value, and the reminding information is displayed by adopting the reminding level displayed by the popup window display and the notification column, so that the method can be more in line with the user's will and the user experience is improved.
It should be appreciated that the environmental information, the historical alert level, and the first number of displays may indicate a usage habit of the user using the terminal device, and thus, the user representation may include the environmental information, the historical alert level, and the first number of displays. That is, in embodiments of the present application, the current alert level is determined based on the user image.
S204, displaying reminding information according to the current reminding level in a second period.
According to the system upgrading method provided by the embodiment of the application, the reminding information is displayed according to the historical reminding level in the first period, wherein the reminding information is used for reminding a user to upgrade the system, the historical reminding level is obtained through the display times and/or the display modes of the reminding information before the first period, the environment information of the terminal equipment at the current moment is obtained, the environment information comprises network state information and/or residual storage space information, the current reminding level is determined according to the environment information, the historical reminding level and the first display times, the first display times are the display times of the reminding information in the first period, then the reminding information is displayed according to the current reminding level in the second period, and the second period is a period taking the current moment as the starting moment. On the basis of determining the current reminding level according to the first display times and the historical reminding level, the environment information of the terminal equipment is further referred to determine the current reminding level, so that the current reminding level can be more in line with the upgrading wish of the user, and the experience of the user in the process of pushing the reminding information of the system upgrading is further improved.
S205, updating the historical reminding level based on the current reminding level to obtain the updated historical reminding level.
The level indicated by the current reminding level can be used as the updated historical reminding level.
For example, if the current alert level obtained according to the first display times and the historical alert level is a high alert level, the high alert level may be used as the updated historical alert level.
S206, sending the updated historical reminding level to the cloud server.
In the process of sending the updated historical alert level to the cloud server, the terminal device may immediately send the updated historical alert level to the cloud server when the updated historical alert level is obtained based on the current alert level, or may send the updated historical alert level to the cloud server after a preset time interval.
According to the reminding method for system upgrading provided by the embodiment of the application, the history reminding grade is updated based on the current reminding grade, the updated history reminding grade is obtained, and the updated history reminding grade is sent to the cloud server, so that the history reminding grade stored in the cloud server is the updated history reminding grade obtained by updating the history reminding grade based on the current reminding grade, and further, when the current reminding grade is determined according to the history reminding grade and the first display times, the used history reminding grade is the latest history reminding grade, so that the current upgrading will of a user can be more met, the timeliness of the determined current reminding grade is improved, and the experience of the user in the process of pushing the reminding information of system upgrading is further improved.
It should be appreciated that in the use process of the terminal device, there is an operation mode in which the user does not want to be disturbed by the push message, for example, in the case that the terminal device is in the game mode, the pushing of the reminder information of the system upgrade to the user may affect the user experience. Therefore, when the reminding information of the system upgrade is pushed, whether the running mode of the terminal equipment at the current moment is the preset running mode or not can be determined, and when the running mode at the current moment is the preset running mode, whether the reminding information of the system upgrade is pushed to the user or not is determined. The following is a detailed description of the embodiment shown in fig. 15.
Fig. 15 is a flowchart of a system upgrade reminding method according to another embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 15, where the method includes:
s301, displaying reminding information according to a historical reminding level in a first period, wherein the reminding information is used for reminding a user to upgrade a system, and the historical reminding level is obtained through the display times and/or the display mode of the reminding information before the first period.
S302, acquiring an operation mode of the terminal equipment at the current moment, wherein the operation mode comprises a shooting mode, a game mode and an office mode.
The shooting mode is that the terminal device is in a state of shooting a photo or shooting a video, in which the shooting is not suspended to upgrade the system, so that the user upgrade will be low. The game mode refers to that the terminal equipment is running a game, and the user usually does not pause the game to upgrade the system because the game picture is usually displayed in a full screen mode in the running process of the game, and the upgrade will of the user is usually low. The office mode refers to the terminal device running office-related applications, such as video conferencing, document processing, image processing, etc. When the terminal device is in the office mode, the user usually does not pause the office to upgrade the system, and the upgrade will of the user is usually low.
S303, acquiring environment information of the terminal equipment at the current moment, wherein the environment information comprises network state information and/or residual storage space information.
S304, under the condition that the operation mode is not the preset mode, determining the current reminding level according to the environment information, the historical reminding level and the first display times.
The preset mode may include the shooting mode, the game mode and the office mode, and when the terminal device is in the preset mode, the upgrade will of the user is generally low. Therefore, when the terminal equipment is in the preset mode, reminding information for reminding a user of carrying out system upgrading is not displayed. Only when the terminal equipment is not in the preset mode, the current reminding level is further determined according to the environment information, the historical reminding level and the first display times, and then the reminding information is displayed according to the current reminding level in the second period.
It should be understood that, in the embodiment of the present application, when the operation mode is not the preset mode, the current alert level may be determined according to the environmental information, the historical alert level and the first display number, or the current alert level may be determined according to the historical alert level and the first display number.
S305, displaying reminding information according to the current reminding level in a second period.
According to the reminding method for system upgrading, reminding information is displayed according to historical reminding levels in a first period, the reminding information is used for reminding a user to conduct system upgrading, the historical reminding levels are obtained through the display times and/or the display modes of the reminding information before the first period, the running mode and the environment information of the terminal equipment at the current moment are obtained, the running mode comprises a shooting mode, a game mode and an office mode, the environment information comprises network state information and/or residual storage space information, the current reminding levels are determined according to the environment information, the historical reminding levels and the first display times under the condition that the running mode is not a preset mode, then the reminding information is displayed according to the current reminding levels in a second period, and the second period is a period taking the current moment as a starting moment. Generally, the user will have a desire to upgrade the system only when the operation mode is not the preset mode, so that the user experience in the process of pushing the system-upgraded reminding information is improved by determining the current reminding level according to the environment information, the historical reminding level and the first display times, so that the reminding information is displayed according to the current reminding level in the second period of time to better conform to the user desire.
With the continuous development of communication technology, small problems occur in the running process of the system, and the system can be updated through a cold patch or a hot patch, so that the problems can be repaired without downloading new installation files again. The amount of data for a cold patch is typically large and requires restarting the terminal device after the system upgrade is completed, and the amount of data for a hot patch is typically small and typically does not require restarting the terminal device after the system upgrade is completed. That is, for hot-patch with small data volume, the time taken to upgrade the system is less, resulting in lower possibility of user objection; for cold patch blocks with large data volume, the time occupied by system upgrading is more, and the possibility of user dislike is higher. Based on the method, the current reminding level can be adjusted according to the data size of the upgrade package, the possibility of user dislike is reduced, and the user experience is improved. This is explained in detail below by way of the embodiment shown in fig. 16.
Fig. 16 is a flowchart of a method for reminding a system upgrade according to another embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 16, where the method includes:
S401, displaying reminding information according to a historical reminding level in a first period, wherein the reminding information is used for reminding a user to upgrade a system, and the historical reminding level is obtained through the display times and/or the display mode of the reminding information before the first period.

S404, acquiring the data volume of an upgrade package of a system version to be upgraded.
The data size of the upgrade package of the system version to be upgraded refers to the data size of the upgrade package required by the current upgrade system. The amount of data in the thermal patch is usually small, and after the system upgrade is completed, the terminal equipment is not required to be restarted; the data volume of the cold patch is usually large, and the terminal equipment needs to be restarted after the system upgrade is completed; thus, a user will want to upgrade a hot patch more often than a cold patch. In general, when searching for an upgrade package, the terminal device may simultaneously acquire the data amount of the upgrade package of the system version to be upgraded.
S405, under the condition that the operation mode is a preset mode, determining the current reminding level according to the data volume of the upgrade package, the environment information, the historical reminding level and the first display times.
It should be appreciated that the user will typically be more willing to upgrade a hot patch, i.e., the user will be more willing to upgrade a system with a small amount of data in the upgrade package. Therefore, when the operation mode is the preset mode, the current reminding level is determined according to the environment information, the historical reminding level and the first display times, and the current reminding level can be further adjusted according to the data size of the upgrade package.
For example, when the historical alert level is a medium alert level, the first display number is 8, which indicates that the user has a low desire to upgrade, and the level of the historical alert level (i.e., the medium alert level) needs to be reduced to obtain a low alert level. The data size of the upgrade package obtained at this time is 0.2GB, and the data size is small. In this case, the user's willingness to upgrade is generally high, so the low alert level can be increased to a medium alert level as the current alert level.
For example, when the historical alert level is a medium alert level, the first display number is 1, which indicates that the user has a higher desire to upgrade, and the level of the historical alert level (i.e., the medium alert level) needs to be increased to obtain a high alert level. In this case, the network status information indicates that the terminal device is currently accessing the internet through data traffic, and the size of the remaining storage space of the terminal device is 2.2GB. In such environmental information, the user's desire to upgrade is generally low. However, the data size of the obtained upgrade package is 3GB, and the data size is smaller. In this case, the user's willingness to upgrade is generally low. Therefore, the environment information, the data volume of the upgrade package, the first display times and the historical reminding level are comprehensively considered, the reminding level is kept unchanged, and the medium reminding level is used as the level of the current reminding level.
It should be understood that in the embodiment of the present application, the current alert level may be determined according to the environmental information, the historical alert level and the first display number, the current alert level may be determined according to the historical alert level and the first display number, and the current alert level may be determined according to the data amount of the upgrade package, the historical alert level and the first display number.
S406, displaying reminding information according to the current reminding level in a second period.
According to the reminding method for system upgrading provided by the embodiment of the application, reminding information is displayed according to the historical reminding grade in the first period, wherein the reminding information is used for reminding a user to upgrade the system, the historical reminding grade is obtained through the display times and/or the display modes of the reminding information before the first period, the data volume of an upgrading packet of a system version to be upgraded is obtained, then the current reminding grade is determined according to the data volume of the upgrading packet, the historical reminding grade and the first display times, then the reminding information is displayed according to the current reminding grade in the second period, and the second period is a period taking the current moment as the starting moment. On the basis of determining the current reminding level according to the first display times and the historical reminding level, the current reminding level is determined by further referring to the data volume of the upgrade package, and the data volume of the upgrade package is in close relation with the upgrading intention of the user, so that the current reminding level determined by referring to the data volume of the upgrade package can be more in line with the upgrading intention of the user, and the experience of the user in the process of pushing the upgrading reminding information of the system is further improved.
It should be understood that, although the steps in the flowcharts in the above embodiments are sequentially shown as indicated by arrows, these steps are not necessarily sequentially performed in the order indicated by the arrows. The steps are not strictly limited to the order of execution unless explicitly recited herein, and the steps may be executed in other orders. Moreover, at least a portion of the steps in the flowcharts may include a plurality of sub-steps or stages that are not necessarily performed at the same time, but may be performed at different times, the order in which the sub-steps or stages are performed is not necessarily sequential, and may be performed in turn or alternately with at least a portion of the sub-steps or stages of other steps or other steps.
Fig. 17 is a schematic structural diagram of a reminding device for system upgrade according to an embodiment of the present application.
It should be understood that the reminding device 600 for system upgrade may perform the reminding method for system upgrade shown in fig. 11 to 16; the reminding device 600 for system upgrade includes: an acquisition unit 610 and a processing unit 620.
The processing unit 620 is configured to display, in a first period, reminder information according to a historical reminder level, where the reminder information is used to remind a user to upgrade a system, the historical reminder level is obtained by displaying times and/or display modes of the reminder information before the first period, and the first period is a period before a current time;
The processing unit 620 is configured to determine the current alert level according to the historical alert level and a first display frequency, where the first display frequency is a display frequency of the alert information in the first period;
the processing unit 620 is configured to display the reminder information according to the current reminder level in a second period, where the second period is a period with the current time as a starting time.
In one embodiment, the processing unit 620 is specifically configured to update the historical alert level based on the first display times to obtain the current alert level.
In one embodiment, the reminding information includes a download reminding information and an installation reminding information, the first display time includes a download reminding time and an installation reminding time, and the processing unit 620 is specifically configured to raise a level of the historical reminding level to obtain a current reminding level when the download reminding time is less than or equal to a first preset threshold value and the installation reminding time is less than or equal to a second preset threshold value; and when the downloading reminding times are larger than a first preset threshold value and the installation reminding times are larger than a second preset threshold value, reducing the level of the historical reminding level to obtain the current reminding level.

The reminding device for system upgrade provided in this embodiment is used for executing the reminding method for system upgrade in the above embodiment, and the technical principle and the technical effect are similar and are not repeated here.
It should be noted that, the reminding device 600 for system upgrade is embodied in the form of a functional unit. The term "unit" herein may be implemented in software and/or hardware, without specific limitation.
For example, a "unit" may be a software program, a hardware circuit or a combination of both that implements the functions described above. The hardware circuitry may include Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs), electronic circuits, processors (e.g., shared, proprietary, or group processors, etc.) and memory for executing one or more software or firmware programs, merged logic circuits, and/or other suitable components that support the described functions.
Thus, the elements of the examples described in the embodiments of the present application can be implemented in electronic hardware, or in a combination of computer software and electronic hardware. Whether such functionality is implemented as hardware or software depends upon the particular application and design constraints imposed on the solution. Fig. 18 shows a schematic structural diagram of an electronic device provided by the present application. The dashed line in fig. 18 indicates that the unit or the module is optional. The electronic device 700 may be used to implement the system upgrade prompting method described in the method embodiments above.

The processor 701 may be used to control the electronic device 700, execute a software program, and process data of the software program. The electronic device 700 may further comprise a communication unit 705 for enabling input (reception) and output (transmission) of signals.
For example, the electronic device 700 may be a chip, the communication unit 705 may be an input and/or output circuit of the chip, or the communication unit 705 may be a communication interface of the chip, which may be an integral part of a terminal device or other electronic device.
For another example, the electronic device 700 may be a terminal device, the communication unit 705 may be a transceiver of the terminal device, or the communication unit 705 may be a transceiver circuit of the terminal device.
