This conventional manufacturing process has the following disadvantages: as a aerospace shell, the welding technique will directly determine the tightness and basic strength of the shell. In case of welding quality problems in the actual welding process, the shell member may leak or even break, and there is a great potential safety hazard. In addition, because the rigidity of the thin-wall part is small, welding deformation and burning-through phenomena are easy to occur in the welding process, and the yield of the variable-section thin-wall shell part is greatly reduced. Meanwhile, the traditional forming process also has the problems of low production efficiency, high forming die cost, low dimensional accuracy and the like.

In this embodiment, the cross section of the preform 8 is in a special-shaped geometry, the working portion of the upper punch 2 is in clearance fit with the inner hole of the constant-section die sleeve 4, and the cross section size of the inner hole of the connecting portion of the constant-section die sleeve 4 and the variable-section necking die 5 is equal.
