The invention belongs to the field of steelmaking continuous casting, and relates to a method for treating slag accumulation below the inner part of a rear furnace cap of a converter, which comprises the steps of rocking the converter backwards by a certain angle, controlling the height of a nozzle of an oxygen lance by using a traditional oxygen lance, and directly blowing a thickened area by using oxygen to thin the slag accumulation below the rear furnace cap of the converter; by implementing the method, the slag accumulation thickness of the converter cap of the converter is effectively controlled, the success rate of slag blocking of the converter is improved, the slag discharging amount of tapping is reduced, the component improvement is reduced, and the cost reduction of the steelmaking process is facilitated.

Background
Along with continuous optimization of the converter smelting process, the tapping temperature is reduced, the carbon content of the end point of the converter is increased, and the smelting process is favorably promoted to reduce cost.
