Description

Information transmission method, device, access network equipment and wireless access network controller
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to an information transmission method, an information transmission device, an access network device, and a radio access network controller.
Background
The subscription deletion request procedure initiated by the existing Radio Access Network (RAN) side network function of E2 interface connection (which may be referred to as E2 node, which is a base station side node) has to rely on the decision of the Near real time radio access network controller (Near Real Time RAN Intelligent Controller, near-RT RIC). Whereas Near-RT RIC only suggests a request by the E2 node to attempt to delete a subscription, it does not necessarily result in a subscription deletion process. When an E2 node acts as a subscription resource provider, and is overloaded or fails, it is necessary to wait for a Near-RT RIC decision when one or more subscriptions are to be deleted, and the deletion request may be denied by the Near-RT RIC. Therefore, the E2 node cannot release the resource in time, causing further overload or failure, so that node instability increases.
If the E2 node forcibly starts the Reset (Reset) process, all RIC Subscriptions (Subscriptions) will be deleted directly and the resources will be released, which will not only affect the Subscriptions that originally requested to be deleted, but also delete other critical Subscriptions, resulting in unnecessary release of resources. Near-RT RIC can recover only by fully re-establishing all subscriptions, increasing recovery time and processing delay.
When the E2 node is in need of overload, fault and the like, the E2 node equipment cannot work stably because the decision of the Near-RT RIC refuses to subscribe to the deletion request is a problem to be solved urgently.

The information transmission method, the information transmission device, the access network equipment and the radio access network controller provided by the embodiment of the application can be applied to a wireless communication system. The wireless communication system may be a system employing a fifth generation (5th Generation,5G) mobile communication technology (hereinafter, simply referred to as a 5G system), and it will be understood by those skilled in the art that the 5G NR system is only an example and not a limitation.
The embodiment of the application provides an information transmission method, an information transmission device, access network equipment and a radio access network controller, so as to ensure the stable operation of E2 node equipment.
The method and the device are based on the same application, and because the principles of solving the problems by the method and the device are similar, the embodiments of the device and the method can be referred to each other, and the repetition is omitted.
As shown in fig. 1, an embodiment of the present application provides an information transmission method, which is executed by an access network device, and includes:
step S101, a first message is sent to a radio access network controller, where the first message is used to request deletion of at least one subscription, and the first message carries a deletion identifier corresponding to the at least one subscription.
It should be noted that, the radio access network controller in the embodiments of the present application may include a Near real-time radio access network intelligent controller (Near-RT RIC). The access network device may be understood as a RAN-side network function entity (may be referred to as an E2 node) connected by an E2 interface, for example, may be a base station (e.g. eNB, gNB), or may be a control plane control unit (CU-CP), a user plane control unit (CU-UP) or a Distribution Unit (DU), or an aggregate form of CU-CP and CU-UP.
In the embodiment of the present application, when a deletion subscription is requested to the radio access network controller, a deletion flag corresponding to the subscription to be deleted is carried at the same time, where the deletion flag may be understood as a forced deletion flag, that is, the radio access network controller is informed that the deletion level of the subscription is the highest level, so that the radio access network controller timely responds to the subscription deletion. Alternatively, the first message may be a subscription delete request (i.e., RIC Subscription Delete Required) message sent by the access network device.
Further, during specific transmission, each subscription requesting deletion in the first message may correspond to a deletion identifier respectively; or the plurality of subscriptions share one deletion identifier, that is, the plurality of subscriptions requesting deletion in the first message together correspond to one deletion identifier, and when the radio access network controller acquires the deletion identifier, it can be known that the subscriptions requesting deletion in the first message all have forced deletion identifiers.
Optionally, after step S101, the method further includes:
starting a timer;
deleting the first subscription if the first condition is satisfied;
wherein the first condition includes one of:
A11, receiving a second message fed back by the radio access network controller before the timer is overtime;
optionally, if the radio access network controller can respond to the first message in time, a subscription deletion process (i.e. RIC Subscription Delete procedure) is performed between the radio access network controller and the access network device, the radio access network controller may feed back a second message to the access network device, where the second message is used to instruct to delete the first subscription in the at least one subscription indicated in the first message, and when the subscription deletion is performed, the radio access network controller and the access network device can delete only one subscription at a time, that is, the radio access network controller sends the second message once and can delete only one subscription, and if multiple subscriptions need to be deleted, the radio access network controller needs to send the second message multiple times.
Alternatively, the second message may be a subscription delete request (i.e., RIC Subscription Delete Request) message sent by the radio access network controller.
A12, under the condition that the timer is overtime, a second message fed back by the radio access network controller is not received;
optionally, if the timer expires, the radio access network controller is not able to respond to the first message, i.e. the radio access network controller is not able to send the second message to the access network device, the access network device actively deletes the at least one subscription requested in the first message.
Optionally, after the access network device actively deletes a subscription, if the access network device receives a second message corresponding to the subscription, because the access network device side does not already have the subscription, the access network device needs to feed back a corresponding message to inform the radio access network controller of the situation of the radio access network controller itself, and specifically, in at least one embodiment of the present application, the method further includes:
and if a second message sent by the radio access network controller is received, feeding back a subscription deletion failure message to the radio access network controller, wherein the subscription deletion failure message is used for indicating that the failure reason is that subscription does not exist.
Optionally, in order to ensure synchronization of subscriptions between the access network device and the radio access network controller, in at least one embodiment of the present application, in a case that the timer expires without receiving a second message fed back by the radio access network controller, after the deleting of the first subscription, the method further includes: and sending a subscription updating message to the radio access network controller, wherein the subscription updating message carries identification information of all subscriptions of access network equipment.
That is, after the access network device actively deletes the subscriptions, it is necessary to inform the radio access network controller of all the subscriptions that exist in itself, so as to ensure synchronization of the subscriptions that exist in the access network device and the radio access network controller.
It should be noted that, when the access network device starts the timer, the timer is cancelled, whether after the timer expires or the requested subscription is deleted during operation.
The following exemplifies the communication of the E2 node with the Near-RT RIC, and the specific application of the present application is exemplified as follows.
In the first case, the subscription deletion process initiated by the E2 node is shown in fig. 2, and the subscription deletion request message may carry a forced deletion identifier to support the E2 node to locally and forcedly release the subscription, which specifically includes:
step 101, establishing one or more RIC Subscriptions between the near-RT RIC and E2 nodes;
it should be noted that different subscriptions may typically be identified by RIC Request indexes (e.g., RIC Request IDs) and/or RAN Function indexes (RAN Function IDs), etc.
Step 102, the E2 node discovers that one or more RIC Subscriptions need to be deleted at runtime;
step 103, the E2 node initiates RIC Subscription Delete Required message;
the RIC Subscription Delete Required message contains a list of RIC Subscriptions to delete (List of RIC Subscriptions To Be Removed) containing one or more subscriptions to delete, identified using the RIC Request ID, RAN Function ID. If there is a RIC description that needs to be forced deleted, the E2 node will also carry a forced delete Flag (Compulsory Flag).
The Near-RT RIC receives the RIC Subscription Delete Required message, with two processing branches for each RIC description contained in the List:
branch one, when Compulsory Flag is not set (this IE does not exist, following the original procedure)
Step 104, near-RT RIC decision;
step 105, initiate the RIC subscription deletion procedure (RIC Subscription Delete procedure) when the Near-RT RIC decision allows deletion of subscriptions.
Branch two, when the Compulsory Flag exists and is set to wire
Step 106, after the E2 node sends RIC Subscription Delete Required message, the local timer T is started RICSUBdelete Wait for Near-RT RIC feedback.
In this case, there are two processing branches:
branch one, when Near-RT RIC is on timer T RICSUBdelete Timely feedback during run time
In step 107, the near-RT RIC immediately decides to initiate RIC Subscription Delete the procedure upon receiving the RIC Subscription Delete Required message.
In step 108, the near-RT RIC releases the Subscription related resources, initiates RIC Subscription Delete procedure, and the process informs the E2 node of the RIC Subscription to be deleted, carrying the RIC Request ID and RAN Function ID.
Branch two, timer T RICSUBdelete Timeout of time
In step 109, the E2 node releases the RIC description locally after the timer expires.
Step 110, after receiving RIC Subscription Delete Request message sent by Near-RT RIC or deleting subscription locally, E2 node cancels timer T RICSUBdelete
Further, after the E2 node performs local deletion, there are two processing cases:
in case one, after the timer finishes and local deletion subscription is adopted by the E2 node, RIC Subscription Delete Request message sent by Near-RT RIC is received for the subscription. Since the subscription does not already exist locally at the E2 node, a feedback RIC Subscription Delete Failure message will carry a cause (cause) identifying that the RIC request index is unknown (RIC Request ID unknown). At this point the Near-RT RIC should consider the E2 node to have deleted the subscription locally, both parties subscribing to the context sync.
In the second case, the E2 node does not always receive any subscription deletion message for the subscription sent by the Near-RT RIC, which indicates that the Near-RT RIC refuses the deletion request, the failure cause fails to receive or fails to process the request, and at this time, the subscription context of the E2 node and the Near-RT RIC is not synchronized.
Further, the RIC SUBSCRIPTION DELTE REQUIRED message includes an RIC Subscription list that the E2 node requests to delete, i.e. one or more RIC subscriptions, and each item of the list summarizes that each RIC Subscription is identified by a RIC Request ID and a RAN Function ID, and carries the reason that the deletion is required.
An Optional (Optional) IE is added to the list item: compulsory Flag. The flag indication will be carried when the E2 node considers that one or more RIC subscriptions need to be forcedly deleted. If the forced deletion is not needed, the E2 node can not carry the flag and follow the original mechanism. One format of RIC SUBSCRIPTION DELTE REQUIRED message content is shown in table 1:
table 1 supporting forced release RIC SUBSCRIPTION DELTE REQUIRED message content
The mandatory identification of each RIC description in the List can realize different configurations of different RIC descriptions, and can respectively determine whether to need mandatory deletion or not.
For example, if the entire identification process is performed on all RIC descriptions, the manner in table 2 may be used, that is, to indicate that forced deletion is required for all RIC descriptions in the List. In this manner, all RIC Subscriptions can be identified at once, as opposed to the manner described above.
Table 2 overall identity forced delete RIC SUBSCRIPTION DELTE REQUIRED message content
Active reporting update after local deletion subscription of E2 node in case two
As shown in fig. 3, when the E2 node deletes a subscription locally or some other faults result in deleting a subscription, an RIC subscription update (RIC Subscription Update) message is actively sent, where the message includes the RIC subscription still existing at the E2 node, and informs the Near-RT RIC of the current subscription condition.
The Near-RT RIC receives the message, and can process the internal subscription of the Near-RT RIC according to the information provided by the E2 node, and align the subscription context of the two parties. Therefore, the problems that the E2 node locally deletes subscription, context information is lost due to Near-RT RIC fault, and the like, the RIC subscription states of the two parties are inconsistent, protocol errors such as the fact that Near-RT RIC cannot know the E2 node subscription condition are generated, data collection, optimization control and the like are affected, and the system operation efficiency is reduced are avoided.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present application, aiming at the problem that in the prior art, because the E2 node is used as the resource provider of subscription and lacks forced deletion subscription, the E2 node overload or failure problem is further aggravated because the resource cannot be released in time, a method for supporting the E2 node to locally and forcedly release subscription and resource is provided, so that possible failures caused by overload, configuration errors and the like of the base station can be effectively reduced.

As shown in fig. 9, an embodiment of the present application provides an information transmission method, which is executed by an access network device, and includes:
Step S901, a subscription update message is sent to a radio access network controller, where the subscription update message carries identification information of a target subscription of an access network device.
It should be noted that, the radio access network controller in the embodiments of the present application may include a Near real-time radio access network intelligent controller (Near-RT RIC). The access network device may be, for example, a base station, or may be an E2 node belonging to the access network side.
In the embodiment of the invention, the access network equipment sends the subscription update message to the radio access network controller, so that the interaction of subscription owned by the access network equipment and the radio access network controller can be ensured, and the stability and the operation efficiency of the system are improved.
Optionally, the implementation procedure of this step S901 includes one of the following:
b11, under the condition that the local deletion subscription exists in the access network equipment or the subscription is lost, a subscription update message is sent to the radio access network controller;
it should be noted that, when the access network device actively deletes the subscription (the process of actively deleting the subscription is referred to the implementation process of the above embodiment, which is not described herein again), or the subscription is lost (for example, a part of the subscription is lost after the access network device fails to restart), the subscription update message is actively sent to the radio access network controller; it will be appreciated that in this case, it may be understood that the access network device sends a subscription update message to the radio access network controller immediately upon performing an active deletion of the subscription or knowing that it has lost the subscription itself.
Optionally, in this case, the target subscription is all subscriptions that the access network device exists.
B12, receiving a subscription inquiry (RIC Subscription Query) message sent by the radio access network controller, and sending a subscription update message to the radio access network controller according to the subscription inquiry message;
optionally, in this case, the radio access network controller makes a subscription query to the access network device, and the access network device sends a subscription update message to the radio access network controller only after receiving the subscription query message.
Optionally, in this case, if the subscription query message carries identification information of a subscription to be queried, the target subscription is the subscription to be queried; further, the subscription update message further carries status information of each subscription in the subscriptions to be queried, where the status information includes: subscription presence or subscription absence. If the subscription query message does not carry the identification information of the subscription to be queried, the target subscription is all the subscriptions existing in the access network equipment.
For example, when inquiring about a subscription from an access network device, the radio access network controller may carry identification information of the subscription to be inquired in a subscription inquiry message, or may not carry the subscription; in the case that the subscription query message carries identification information of the subscription that the radio access network controller wants to query, the access network device needs to feed back for the specific subscription queried by the radio access network controller, for example, feeds back whether the specific subscription queried by the radio access network controller exists; under the condition that the subscription inquiry message does not carry the identification information of any subscription, the radio access network controller can be understood as the fact that the radio access network controller wants to inquire all subscriptions of the access network device side, and the access network device needs to feed back all the subscriptions existing in the access network device to the radio access network controller.
The following exemplifies the communication of the E2 node with the Near-RT RIC, and the specific application of the present application is exemplified as follows.
Case one and E2 node active reporting mode
Some subscriptions are deleted due to local deletion subscription or other faults of the E2 node, and RIC subscription update (RIC Subscription Update) information is actively sent, wherein the information contains RIC subscription still existing in the E2 node at present, and informs Near-RT RIC of the current subscription condition.
The Near-RT RIC receives the message, and can process the internal subscription of the Near-RT RIC according to the information provided by the E2 node, and align the subscription context of the two parties.
Condition two, near-RT RIC query mode
In the operation process of Near-RT RIC, it is found that the information reported by the E2 node is missing, for example, if a report message is not received for a subscription all the time, a RIC Subscription Query process may be initiated to query the subscription condition of the E2 node, and the specific process is as shown in fig. 10:
step 201, near-RT RIC sends RIC Subscription Query message to E2 node;
the message may include: a) Querying subscriptions at all E2 nodes, b) querying status information (partial subscriptions) of one or more specific subscriptions;
step 202, after receiving the RIC Subscription Query message, the E2 node compares the existing local subscription according to the query requirement of the Near-RT RIC, and feeds RIC Subscription Update a message to the Near-RT RIC to inform the query result.
Further, when the Near-RT RIC queries all subscriptions, the E2 node contains a complete list of locally existing subscriptions in the RIC Subscription Update message; when Near-RT RIC queries for partial subscriptions, the E2 node feeds back according to the subscriptions provided by the RIC, which may include locally existing subscriptions, unknown subscriptions (i.e., subscriptions that do not exist locally), and so on.
Further, in the above-described RIC Subscription synchronization process, the RIC Subscription Query message may be defined as a format as in table 3, optionally containing a list of RIC descriptions that the Near-RT RIC wants to query. When List of Queried RIC Subscriptions does not exist, then it indicates that the Near-RT RIC queries all subscriptions currently on the E2 node.
Table 3RIC Subscription Query message content
Optionally, the maximum number of RIC subscriptions requested by the Near-RT RIC to the E2 node is 1024.
Further, the RIC synchronization procedure described above, the RIC Subscription Update message may be defined as a format as in table 4, where List of Retained RIC Subscriptions and List of Unknown RIC Subscriptions are both alternatives (Range starts from 0).
1. When the E2 node actively reports the subscription updates, list of Retained RIC Subscriptions will be included, for all RIC Subscriptions currently left at the E2 node, each subscription identified using the RIC Request ID and RAN Function ID.
2. When Near-RT RIC queries for subscriptions at the E2 node:
if List of Queried RIC Subscriptions does not exist in the RIC Subscription Query message, then the E2 node needs to feed back all existing subscriptions currently, including List of Retained RIC Subscriptions;
if List of Queried RIC Subscriptions is carried in the RIC Subscription Query message, the E2 node feeds back the situation of each subscription according to the subscription identifier in the list: if the subscription still exists, (RIC Request id+ran Function ID) is placed in List of Retained RIC Subscriptions, and if the subscription does not exist, (RIC Request id+ran Function ID) is placed in List of Unknown RIC Subscriptions.
Table 4RIC Subscription Update message content
Optionally, the maximum number of RIC subscriptions fed back by the E2 node to the Near-RT RIC is 1024.
As can be seen from the above, the embodiment of the application provides a subscription synchronization mode aiming at the problem that the E2 node and the Near-RT RIC dual-subscription context cannot be aligned, so that subscription conditions of both parties can be updated, efficiency of Near-RT RIC data collection and control optimization is improved, processing time delay caused by invalid waiting due to information asynchronization is reduced, and system stability and operation efficiency are improved.
