Description

应用于电子货架标签系统的电子标签装置
技术领域
本发明涉及一种电子装置,特别涉及一种应用于电子货架标签系统的电子标签装置。
背景技术
在现有的电子货架标签系统的捡货过程中,显示货品信息的电子标签装置通常贴附在货架上,当人员要进行捡货时,可通过系统主机将信号传送给电子标签装置,使电子标签装置的发光二极管(LED)可以闪烁,捡货人员就可以很快地找到该货架,并从该货架找到要挑选的货品。
在现有技术中,电子标签装置通常包括显示模块和与该显示模块连接的系统电路板,系统电路板通常设有主控制器,由此控制显示模块和位于系统电路板上的发光二极管。然而,由于控制LED发出闪烁光线的开关电路也设在系统电路板上,造成系统电路板的整体尺寸较大;另外,用于传送控制信号至开关电路的主控制器的接口(例如General-purposeinput/output,GPIO)的数量也较多,造成主控制器和系统电路板的成本也较高。
发明内容
本发明的目的为提供一种应用于电子货架标签系统的电子标签装置,相较于现有的技术来说,本发明的整体尺寸较小,成本也较低。
为达上述目的,依据本发明的一种电子标签装置,其包括显示模块、驱动芯片以及系统电路板。显示模块包含驱动基板和显示媒介,显示媒介设置于驱动基板上。驱动芯片设置驱动基板上,并与驱动基板电性连接,驱动芯片控制显示模块显示影像,其中驱动芯片包含开关电路。系统电路板与驱动基板和驱动芯片电性连接,系统电路板包括主控制器和发光元件,发光元件与开关电路电性连接;其中,主控制器将控制信号传送至驱动芯片,驱动芯片依据该控制信号控制开关电路驱动发光元件发光。
在一个实施例中,显示媒介为电子纸膜、液晶、发光二极管或有机发光二极管。
在一个实施例中,驱动芯片进一步包含显示模块的扫描驱动电路和/或资料驱动电路。
在一个实施例中,开关电路包括电阻和开关元件,发光元件的第一电极连接电源,电阻的两端分别连接发光元件的第二电极与开关元件的第一端,并且开关元件的第二端连接接地端。
在一个实施例中,驱动芯片依据该控制信号控制开关元件的控制端。
在一个实施例中,驱动芯片依据该控制信号输出脉冲宽度调变(PWM)信号并传送至开关元件的控制端。

综上所述,在本发明的电子标签装置中,驱动芯片设置驱动基板上,并与驱动基板电性连接,驱动芯片可控制显示模块显示影像,其中驱动芯片包含开关电路;系统电路板与驱动基板和驱动芯片电性连接,系统电路板包括主控制器和发光元件,发光元件与开关电路电性连接;其中,主控制器可将控制信号传送至驱动芯片,使驱动芯片可依据该控制信号控制开关电路驱动发光元件发光。由此,相较于现有技术来说,由于控制发光元件发出光线的开关电路制作于驱动芯片中,系统电路板可以不需要设置控制发光元件的开关电路,因此,系统电路板的整体尺寸可以比较小。另外,用于传送控制信号至开关电路的主控制器的接口(interface)数量也可以比较少,使主控制器(和系统电路板)的成本也可以比较低。

具体实施方式
以下将参照相关附图,说明依据本发明实施例的应用于电子货架标签系统的电子标签装置,其中相同的元件将以相同的附图标记加以说明。
图1为本发明的一个实施例的应用于电子货架标签系统的电子标签装置的示意图,而图2为图1的电子标签装置中,开关电路与发光元件的电路示意图。
请参照图1和图2所示,应用于电子货架标签系统的电子标签装置1可包括显示模块11、驱动芯片12以及系统电路板13。另外,本实施例的电子标签装置1可进一步包括连接电路板14。
显示模块11包含驱动基板111和显示媒介112,显示媒介112设置于驱动基板111上。本实施例的驱动基板111具有显示设置区A1、和与显示设置区A1邻接的外围区A2。在此,显示设置区A1即为设置显示媒介112的区域,而外围区A2则为非显示设置区A1,但是邻接显示设置区A1的区域。本实施例的外围区A2是以围设于显示设置区A1的外围为例。驱动基板111的材质可视产品需求而改变其方式。在此,驱动基板111可包含玻璃基材、塑胶基材或软性基材,其上设有像素电路。软性基材的材料例如但不限于为聚亚酰胺(Polyimide,PI)。在一些实施例中,驱动基板111可包含多个像素,各像素具有像素电路,像素电路可包含至少一个开关(例如为薄膜晶体管(TFT))和像素电极,使驱动基板111为主动矩阵(ActiveMatrix)驱动式的薄膜晶体管基板,由此控制各个像素的电场形成与否。在一些实施例中,驱动基板111也可为被动矩阵(Passive Matrix)驱动式的驱动基板,本发明不限定。
显示媒介112设置于驱动基板111的显示设置区A1,并且驱动基板111可控制显示媒介112显示影像。显示媒介112可为电子纸膜(E-paper film)、液晶、发光二极管或有机发光二极管,使显示模块11成为电子纸显示模块、液晶显示模块、发光二极管显示模块或有机发光二极管显示模块。本实施例的显示媒介112例如为双稳态的电子纸膜,因此具有省电特性和宽视角等优点,其可为微胶囊(Microcapsule)型电子纸、微杯(Microcup)型电子纸、或胆固醇液晶(Cholesteric Liquid Crystal)电子纸,但也不限于此。在一些实施例中,显示媒介112可为微胶囊型或微杯型电子纸时,其显示介质可包含电泳物质,电泳物质包含复数带电荷的浅色颜料微粒以及深色的介质溶液,颜料微粒和介质溶液分别容置于复数微胶囊内,而微胶囊之间则可利用接着剂而结合在一起;或者,电泳物质的内容物也可以是深色的颜料微粒与浅色介质溶液的组合;又或者,电泳物质的内容物也可以是多种颜色的颜料微粒与浅色介质溶液的组合,本发明不限制。
驱动芯片12邻近显示媒介112,并且设置驱动基板111上。在此,驱动芯片12设置于驱动基板111的外围区A2,并与驱动基板111电性连接。驱动芯片12可通过驱动基板111控制显示媒介112显示影像。在此,驱动芯片12是集成电路(IC),并以玻璃基板芯片接合(ChipOn Glass,COG)技术设置于外围区A2。在一些实施例中,驱动芯片12可包括显示模块11的扫描驱动电路(Scan Driver)和/或资料驱动电路(Data Driver)。换句话说,驱动芯片12具有显示模块11的扫描线驱动功能或资料线驱动功能;或者,同时具有(整合)扫描线驱动功能和资料线驱动功能。本实施例的驱动芯片12是以具有扫描线驱动和资料线驱动功能为例。
驱动芯片12包含开关电路121。具体来说,在制作驱动芯片12的集成电路(IC)工艺中,除了制作扫描驱动电路和/或资料驱动电路之外,进一步可利用集成电路工艺(半导体工艺),将开关电路121也一起制作在驱动芯片12内,使驱动芯片12包含有开关电路121。
系统电路板13与驱动基板111和驱动芯片12电性连接,由此控制显示模块11显示影像。系统电路板13可例如为印刷电路板,其可包括主控制器131和发光元件132,主控制器131可包含至少一个微控制单元(Microcontroller Unit,MCU),由此控制电子标签装置1的运作;而发光元件132例如但不限于为发光二极管(LED),并与开关电路121电性连接。另外,本实施例的系统电路板13可进一步包括天线元件133,天线元件133与主控制器131电性连接。而主控制器131可依据天线元件133接收的射频信号输出控制信号,主控制器131还可将该控制信号传送至驱动芯片12,使驱动芯片12可依据该控制信号控制开关电路121驱动发光元件132发光。
本实施例的开关电路121位于驱动芯片12内,并可包括电阻R和开关元件T,而发光元件(LED)132则位于系统电路板13上。在此,开关元件T可例如但不限于金属氧化物半导体场效晶体管(MOSFET),而电阻R可为限流电阻,用以限制流过发光元件132的电流。如图2所示,发光元件132的第一电极(阳极)连接电源Vcc,电阻R的两端分别连接发光元件132的第二电极(阴极)与开关元件T的第一端(第一源/汲极)T1,并且开关元件T的第二端(第二源/汲极)T2连接接地端。另外,开关元件T还可具有控制端(闸极)C,而主控制器131可传送该控制信号至驱动芯片12,使驱动芯片12可依据该控制信号控制开关元件T的控制端C,由此控制开关元件T的导通与截止,进而控制发光元件132点亮或熄灭。
在一些实施例中,驱动芯片12还可包含脉冲宽度调变(Pulse-width modulation,PWM)电路,驱动芯片12可依据该控制信号通过该脉冲宽度调变电路输出脉冲宽度调变信号,并传送至开关元件T的控制端C,进而控制发光元件132点亮时间(闪烁)、亮度。在一些实施例中,驱动芯片12可利用电流控制方式控制发光元件132的发光亮度。在一些实施例中,发光元件132的数量可为复数,这些发光元件131为可以发出不同颜色光线的多个(例如3个)发光二极管,而驱动芯片12可分别控制这些发光二极管,由此发出不同颜色或闪烁频率的光线,以适合不同情境或功能的需求。本实施例的开关电路121包含电阻R和开关元件T只是举例,不可用以限制本发明。
连接电路板14分别连接系统电路板13与驱动基板111,并且系统电路板13可通过连接电路板14与驱动基板111和驱动芯片12电性连接。具体来说,本实施例的连接电路板14例如但不限于为软性电路板(FPC),而驱动基板111(驱动芯片12)和系统电路板13分别连接于连接电路板14的相反侧,而分别与连接电路板14电性连接。因此,系统电路板13的主控制器131可通过连接电路板14与驱动基板111和驱动芯片12电性连接,由此提供驱动信号并传送至驱动基板111,进而控制显示媒介112显示影像。
综上,在本实施例中,当使用者利用电子货架标签系统挑选货架上的货品时,可利用系统的控制主机下命令给贴在货架上的电子标签装置1。在此,控制主机可发出例如射频信号,而货品货架上的电子标签装置1的天线元件133接收到该射频信号后,主控制器131可依据该射频信号输出对应于该射频信号的控制信号,并且通过例如串列外围界面传送至驱动芯片12,使驱动芯片12可依据该控制信号控制开关电路121的开关元件T,由此控制发光元件132点亮或截止(闪烁),捡货人员看见某一货架上的LED闪烁时,就可快速得知要挑选的货品在该货架上,捡货人员就可很快地找到要找寻的货品。
在本实施例中,由于控制发光元件132发出闪烁光线的开关电路121制作于驱动芯片12中,故系统电路板13可以不需要设置控制发光元件132的开关电路,因此,系统电路板的整体尺寸可以比较小。另外,用于传送该控制信号至开关电路121的主控制器131的接口(例如GPIO接口)的数量也可以比较少,成本也可以比较低(因为可以采用较少接口的控制器)。
图3为本发明不同实施例的电子标签装置的示意图。
如图3所示,本实施例的电子标签装置1a与前述实施例的电子标签装置1其元件组成和各元件的连接关系大致相同。不同之处在于,本实施例的电子标签装置1a的驱动芯片12a可进一步包括暂存器122,由主控制器131传送来的该控制信号可包含至少一个指令,暂存器122可储存该至少一个指令,使驱动芯片12可以依据暂存器122所储存的该至少一个指令控制开关电路121,进而控制发光元件132。其中,该至少一个指令可包含控制发光元件132导通的时间、截止的时间、和/或亮度的命令。
综上所述,在本发明的电子标签装置中,驱动芯片设置驱动基板上,并与驱动基板电性连接,驱动芯片可控制显示模块显示影像,其中驱动芯片包含开关电路;系统电路板与驱动基板和驱动芯片电性连接,系统电路板包括主控制器和发光元件,发光元件与开关电路电性连接;其中,主控制器可将控制信号传送至驱动芯片,使驱动芯片可依据该控制信号控制开关电路驱动发光元件发光。由此,相较于现有技术来说,由于控制发光元件发出光线的开关电路制作于驱动芯片中,系统电路板可以不需要设置控制发光元件的开关电路,因此,系统电路板的整体尺寸可以比较小。另外,用于传送控制信号至开关电路的主控制器的接口数量也可以比较少,使主控制器(及系统电路板)的成本也可以比较低。
以上所述仅是举例性的,而不是限制性的。任何未脱离本发明的精神与范畴,而对其进行的等效修改或变更,均应包含于后附的权利要求范围中。

Claims (10)

1.一种应用于电子货架标签系统的电子标签装置,其包括:
显示模块,其包含驱动基板和显示媒介,所述显示媒介设置于所述驱动基板上;
驱动芯片,其设置所述驱动基板上,并与所述驱动基板电性连接,所述驱动芯片控制所述显示模块显示影像,其中所述驱动芯片包含开关电路;以及
系统电路板,其与所述驱动基板和所述驱动芯片电性连接,所述系统电路板包括主控制器和发光元件,所述发光元件与所述开关电路电性连接;
其中,所述主控制器将控制信号传送至所述驱动芯片,所述驱动芯片依据所述控制信号控制所述开关电路驱动所述发光元件发光。
2.根据权利要求1所述的电子标签装置,其中所述显示媒介为电子纸膜、液晶、发光二极管或有机发光二极管。
3.根据权利要求1所述的电子标签装置,其中所述驱动芯片进一步包含所述显示模块的扫描驱动电路和/或资料驱动电路。
4.根据权利要求1所述的电子标签装置,其中所述开关电路包括电阻和开关元件,所述发光元件的第一电极连接电源,所述电阻的两端分别连接所述发光元件的第二电极与所述开关元件的第一端,并且所述开关元件的第二端连接接地端。
5.根据权利要求4所述的电子标签装置,其中所述驱动芯片依据所述控制信号控制所述开关元件的控制端。
6.根据权利要求4所述的电子标签装置,其中所述驱动芯片依据所述控制信号输出脉冲宽度调变信号并传送至所述开关元件的控制端。
7.根据权利要求1所述的电子标签装置,其中所述驱动芯片进一步包括暂存器,所述控制信号包含至少一个指令,所述暂存器储存所述至少一个指令,所述驱动芯片依据所述暂存器储存的所述至少一个指令控制所述开关电路。
8.根据权利要求1所述的电子标签装置,其中所述系统电路板进一步包括天线元件,所述主控制器与所述天线元件电性连接,所述主控制器依据所述天线元件接收的射频信号输出所述控制信号。
9.根据权利要求1所述的电子标签装置,其中所述发光元件的数量为复数个,所述发光元件为可发出不同颜色的多个发光二极管。
10.根据权利要求1所述的电子标签装置,其进一步包括:
连接电路板,其分别与所述系统电路板和所述驱动基板连接,所述系统电路板通过所述连接电路板与所述驱动基板和所述驱动芯片电性连接。
